Torb's ult pretty much denies all pushes alone.

I understand that when playing damage classes it could compare you to the others on your team and the enemy team but what about those that heal? I've been reading that healers that did their competitive placement matches with stacks have been coming out low but anyone else have any input?

Good left click aim in an area your turret is covering ensures people die almost instantly
can give his armor to his team or use it to dispute a point by chaining armor onto himself
can drop a turret every 6 seconds or something, so even if they blow up your level 2 you just go battle dwarf and fuck them up while dropping level 1 turrets everywhere.

Torbjorn is an excellent character, he has everything, high burst damage, high area denial, well placed turrets can completely divide the attention of a push, or just secure the flanks.

Torbjorn is OP, people just don't know how to play him.

It's instant so chances are you'll find yourself at least hitting it a couple of times. Someone on your team will even if you don't. Even a couple of seconds is a lot of time to be invincible every 10 seconds in this game. You pretty much have two invulnerable characters coming at you for the duration and sometimes there's fuck all you can do about it depending on the hero. Even if you survive she has so much health that it's very hard to kill the fat bitch afterwards.

Thing is good Torbjorn turret placement doesn't give the opponent a "afar" to shoot from. Or at least not an easy one to get to.

Not only that, but the area denial is much worse for a character like Genji than you might think.
He doesn't have Reaper's damage up close to take the turret down in record time, or D. Va's health.
