Please explain in universe why does Robotnik have good musical taste seeing that pretty much everything he hates is what other people think is good (ie if you said genocide is bad he answers 'nope it's good!'), and why does Sonic, Tails and the other FFs (mind you, which many also have experience with music) have bad musical taste considering that, for example, one of Sonic's main traits is liking cool things. Plus the giant amount of fans and all else.

Is it the contrarian is always right (such as flowers are the true menace, robotizing animals is good), I hate the character so she sings bad or I like contradicting the comics main narrative?

It's the same sort of thing as #45, just more competent. The problem is floppies are written in a way designed to make any single issue a worthwhile, self-contained read. An issue devoted to setup is pointless when the book is intentionally written so you can jump on at issue two-of-four and enjoy the story. It doesn't even offer anything new of substance. It's a filler issue.

Underground is probably the only legit bad thing that I would feel they should have never let happen, since it was so bad that it isn't even enjoyable. It's like the Sonic Labyrinth of the TV shows.

Having Jalee White voice Blue Sonic, Green Sonic, and Girl Pink Sonic while they sing bad songs and tackle plots on the level of Penders is all kinds of wrong.

If they redid the concept with Sonic, Tails, and Amy doing their own thing while freedom fighting, and bumping into Knuckles & The Choatix, then it probably would have been alright, provided it went for a more AoSTH instead of smearing SATAM's ideas

i remember liking underground as a kid, but going back it does seem pretty ridiculous

as far as i remember, tails never made an appearance even though knuckles did since it would probably mess with the sibling dynamic though that would've made a good episode

i never really liked jaleel's sonic all that much, and sonia sounded pretty annoying but manic's voice was actually pretty nice and so was his design

some of those songs were pretty catchy anon, but i will agree that most were kinda meh
not really outright terrible, just regular 90s sounding songs

i kinda wish sega of america would bring back manic and sonia to be sonic's cousins or something like that, so they could do their own thing without needing sonic as some sort of leader figure manic and tails would get along pretty well, i imagine shame to see manic and sonia's designs get wasted over being some tv characters
only my __shit__ opinion, don't mind it too much
