True. Is D.Va's jet thing a much longer cooldown than the jump? I've never played her. Isn't the idea behind defense matrix to essentially be a Winston bubble sort of thing?

I really like her kit and I love tanks like Winston (ie. Protect the squishies by distraction), but I've yet to play her because everyone says she's in bad shape.

D.Va is fucking fun though, whatever her place or lack of it. It's a blast just zipping around every 4 seconds and hassling people. Use your flying on cooldown and try and negate things like pharoh's rocket spam or robot guy's tank mode for 3 seconds with defense matrix when you think they'll be up.

the problem with having 3 entrance paths is that your dumbass teammates will split up and try to be ebin flankers.
Then you never team up and push as a group, while the enemy team can all just stand on the point and act as a group
It's why point A in both hanamura and anubis are easier to breach, the lack of entrance paths forces people to play together

Weird. Hanamura doesn't funnel people at my MMR at all. People just switch to guys who can go through that window and die.

I remember switching to Reinhardt to try to get through and the only person following me in the main door was my friend playing Mercy. Shield died to turrets, Mercy died to everyone, I died.

I just don't like Hanamura at all. I have no fun on either side somehow.

Anubis, I love fighting in those alleys or jumping over to the right half of the temple or going through the roofed section. And Point A has fucktons of space for vertical mobility, which Hanamura just doesn't.

As an addendum, I'd say the ult is the larger issue. It's not very satisfying to use when the whole world of mecha shit is available and they went with self destruction. It will kill you if you don't have your mobility coolddown up because you need to run directly away in a straight line to not die to the blast and then you just die from running straight. Other than dropping it behind stationary bastions it's really only good as a disruptor if they've got a rein+mercy+damage thing going in one point, if you don't kill em they'll at least move. If I was going to point out a weak link it'd be that. I'd kill for a robot laser sword or rocket pod as an ult.

Either the Rein just stand at the choke point for 5min and has no initiative or the team doesn't follow up when he moves. Sometimes it's even worse because you need a Lucio for the speed boost if the defense is solid as fuck.

It's almost impossible to find a Rein that isn't a passive as fuck AND a team that understand how to play around him.

I can aim pretty well, I do alright with any of the projectile guns like Pharah/Hanzo/Mei, even the D.Va/Mercy pistols.

I feel like a goddamn surgeon with Torbjorn's lava gun, that little shit is so fucking good. I can deathmatch close range with shotgun, spam a chokepoint like a Hanzo would (and probably do it more effectively), or even countersnipe if I have to.

The armor is a trick! Don't give it to your shitty teammates. Run around deathmatching and just heal yourself every second. The closer you are to the fight, the more scrap you get, the more you heal yourself, the more people you kill, the more scrap you get, etc.

The turret is a trick! Set it up somewhere and forget about it, let it distract people and then blow them away with lava while they're trying to shoot it.

If for some reason you start losing then take a second to build up a Level 2 and then MOLTEN COOOOORE, congrats, you're not losing anymore. Goddamn I didn't think the turret class would reward aiming so much.

How would you buff/tweak Mei to get her into competitive play without breaking her?

My Thoughts:
>Slightly increase healed amount in cryofreeze
>Tweak cryofreeze cooldown to be slightly lower if canceled
>Partially increase radius of Blizzard

I think these 3 things buffed very SLIGHTLY would strengthen her without increasing her annoyance factor too hard.

The issue with Mei is when she freezes a player, most other classes would have just gotten a kill.

Her weapon is a complete meme in that it's actually terrible, but because it's disable-heavy it's also cancer to play against.

Her ult also takes ridiculously long to disable players, and the damage is such a joke it may as well not be there.

I know the usual counter to reaper is long range but stacking long range isnt exactly the best idea for that game mode, and its really difficult to take and hold the point when at almost any point at least one of their ults is up
