The PC psn deactivation thing is an emergency nuke you can only use once every 6 months, so it's best to not use that.

Because your PSN account has a limited number of activation licenses for your games and when you factory reset it is possible that your device will have a new ID.

As a result, you can end up being unable to run digital purchases because you have too many activated systems, and you can only deactivate a system from the system itself. Sony provides you a "Deactivate All Systems" option through their website, but you can only use it once every 6 months or a year or something.

I've never actually had that be an issue with my vitas though so I think the Vita IDs remain consistent. It is still best practice though and you should do it.

It seems weird to me that Caligula already has staff commentaries on characters, I feel like that usually doesn't happen until after a game comes out.

Kind of fun actually. You can explore the level to get some collectibles in most levels that give you lingerie in the Communication Room.

There are also secret Missions to find that basically give you tasks like kill all enemies before your health runs out (defeating an enemy restores your health, but you can bring potions with you anyway), juggle an enemy for 30 seconds, or find and destroy all objects before the time runs out. I haven't done too much of them yet, but there's also Challenge Mode and Survival Mode each with several missions. There's quite a few things to do like the Multiplayer Modes too, but if I could make a complaint it's that in order to unlock certain lingerie, you need to get each girl's Boob Rank to max, so there's some grinding involved with 100%.

Not sure how to feel about unlocking the True Ending route either. You need to get SS ranks on certain stages, but the game won't tell you which ones until you beat the Chaos route. I'm still glad I imported it, but if you can get the Regular edition for less than 60 USD, you'll dig it since it's a Beat 'em Up. If you're worried about language barrier, I got those trophies by knowing my hiragana and katakana along with less than 50 kanji. Brute-forced most of it.

Oh hi, I have some questions for you vitabros.
1) is a Vita worth it over a PSTV? i only want to play a decent couple of games, but the cheapest I can get a used PSTV is $50 (cad) compared to $120 for an actual vita. Might get both eventually but not sure I really need a portable device, but also not sure if it will look nice stretched.
2) Is P4G actually worth it? I have the ps2 version, and everyone sucks off the vita version, but they did the same for P3P and it was complete shit next to FES. Figured it might be different this time though, as Vita should be able to manage without cutting content or downgrading.
3) is the DOAX3 vita version worth it if I already have DOAX2? or should I just wait till I get a ps4 to get DOAX3?

I got a PSTV for 25 eurobucks and I don't regret it. It's a neat device, but there's one gripe - it outputs native res upscaled to 720p, and then the image is upscaled to whatever your monitor/TV is running at, which doesn't make the games look as clean as they could. It still looks nice though.

It's just Sophie and Plancha in the house. All I can do is speak to Plancha - she repeats the same line - or click on the front door which makes Sophie say she shouldn't go outside.

I can click on the cauldron but it's just the same recipe that I made earlier. What the fuck am I meant to do?

Learning radicals is only useful if you want to really pursue a classical japanese knowledge base.

Since there's so many OCR and handwriting based lookup methods available now, radicals won't serve much of a day-to-day use for looking things up.

Besides, just learning kanji will make the concept easier to pick up later. "Wow, I keep seeing the same things over and over..."

The real trick to learning is to use a method and approach that the learner can stick with, stay motivated to work on themselves, and observe progress to spur on further effort.

I had four years of college Japanese and could barely understand anything. A year and a half of playing imported visual novels (with a serious effort to learn anything I could read/understand) meant I only finished 2 VNs in that time, but I felt like my ability to understand Japanese doubled in that time.

It's not really "hard" to learn, it just takes a fuck-ton of effort. So to that end, every individual learn should find what they need to do so they can keep up with it.
