Easiest way to play Battle Garegga on my PC? I haven't had much luck with Saturn emulation and I tried to download MAME and it just gives me an error every time I try and run a game. Dunno what the deal is.

In original it's fucking up the rank as bad you can and memerunning to the end with a bit of scorebombing.
Steel Rondo is basically the same, but adds little destructible cores on bosses and multiplier based on how fast/close you kill enemies. Also removes end of game bonus and points for bullet cancelling.

Go into the game's files, rename Launcher.exe to something else, then copy MECHA_SR.exe and rename it to Launcher.exe, after that you can run it in steam and still have the ability to take screenshots.

Tatsujin Oh, stage 5 and 6...built a route for them, but not sure that I can follow it if I do a full run now, as the game is stupidly long and the previous stages are mostly boring, so I might forget what to do when I arrive there or run into the usual difficulties. The checkpoint system really rubs it in when you fail.

Should just go back to my main game soon, I don't think Tatsujin Oh is worth it anymore.

I think that shmups don't take much talent either, at least in the long run, but there's a very real difference between people who set WRs after having played for 2 years and people who are going to need 10 years to do the same, and only if they are motivated enough (just like in music). The data for the latter is insufficient though.
