I've always considered my character a sort of freelancer that temporarily supports whichever god that gives them (me) free shit since that's the only way I can get it to make sense that your character seemingly doesn't mind helping out 'rival' gods. Of course there might be some dialogue choices here and there but in-canon I don't consider the WG a very devout person and at the end of the day you're not going to intentionally not do a quest simply because you don't want to help a certain god or their follower(s).
I heavily suspect that Zaros' popularity mainly is due to him being the first god that has given the player the most useful shit such as ancient magic, curses and more.

My personal headcanon is that my character just tags along with Zaros since his side seems to be one of the more reliable ones. If given the opportunity to become a full-on god himself, my character would do so.

Following the discussion about Kindred Spirits I decided to reread two of the journals found in Sliske's lair

Maybe I was just distracted by wanting complete the quest, but this is actually some really cool shit. Loads of small clues and references that I missed during the quest and it really sets the darker tone that people said the quest had. I sure hope we get more like this in the future

I find it difficult to change my outfit at all since I was really happy with the one I chose when I made my character and making large changes feels wrong, like that general style is part of my character's identity. I guess since we can't customize our bodytype or face, clothes have the biggest impact.
I can make changes in small increments though, since I did change my outfit for the first time in over a year recently. It has to be something similar though. Drastic changes just don't feel right.

I know exactly how you feel. I've had my character for a decade and most changes have been incredibly minor (such as changing a single hairstyle) and only happened every once in a couple of years. It still has evolved a bit since keepsake keys made it possible for me to use my favourite equipment during combat, but whenever I've tried a huge overhaul such as changing the gender of using a full solomon set I just end up reverting the changes after a couple of minutes.
