There's always challenges available, but it's not necessary. Obviously your low level guys are going to have trouble but it's not impossible to get them caught up in the story if you want, just let them pick off weakened enemies for exp. The Invasion should be a good opportunity for that. And you don't have to use everyone; e.g if Subaki just isn't working out (he usually doesn't) you can replace him with Hinoka.

I am actually curious now what Japan thinks of the yandere thing. I see people here claim it as a pandering thing all of the time, yet I almost never see anyone say it in a positive tone. It's almost always listed as something negative, sometimes so bad that it makes a character irredeemable.

I'd say in a blanket term that her main flaw is how irrational she is in regards to people close to her. Part of the reason she attacks you in Ch 23 is because of Elise, and instead of just listening to you she assumes you're trying to take Elise away. Harold and Effie were also responsible for this.

More like a straight up superior Leo, in terms of both bases and growths, with flight but no shitty prf and less luck. Suddenly becomes most useful magic unit in Conquest, after Elise. And yeah, Leo had something to do with it as well, but remember that all of the siblings are aware that Garon is a dick. Xander is loyal to a fault and Camilla seems somewhat afraid of him. So while they'd initially be antagonistic towards Kamui for that and the idea of betrayal (which they've pretty much already been exposed to from other siblings), it's not unlikely that Leo and especially Camilla could be convinced.

Well the thing is their behaviour is exactly like that of abused children, which they are. Xander was at least exposed a bit to the real Garon so his loyalty (further forced on because of his duties as the next in line) has some basis. Camilla is fearful of Garon so it doesn't make sense to me that she'd readily turn against him just because you (who has deflected to the enemy's side to boot) said he was trying to kill you, even if she loves you as a family or even as a romantic interest. I don't see any of the Nohr siblings, besides Elise, would realistically betraying Garon to aid you in any way that can be in-character. This whole war and politics thing isn't as simple as: there's the bad guy, now we go fuck him up like how Birthright shows it.

Broken, literally the best magic user in the game. Isn't fragile like Elise and can double with help. Xander/Camilla tier, almost a required prepromote use.

Anyways, comparable magic and res to Elise plus much more skl and def, at the cost of spd and lck? Not even a difficult choice, especially since another healer is never bad. At worst, she's a staffbot. At best, she's a nuke and wall, especially since she can eat up some robes to boost her hp. Basically Orochi with defense, and Orochi is already usable. Another 9/10.

And I'd argue that it's still in-character that they'd eventually turn on him. It would just take some particularly personal incentive to do so. For Camilla it makes sense that direct harm to one of her siblings, particularly Kamui and maybe Elise, would be that straw. That's even more true for Revelation because she had already been sent on a 'succeed or die' mission.

The end of chapter 26 pretty much shows how this dynamic work. They were reluctant at first to kill Gooron because "he was our father" until finally snapping out of it and take action.

Issue with that argument is that there's only so many to go around.

Like it's hard to deny Xander the 15 and 17 Wings when he gets such immediate and useful use out of each of them and is more or less set after them. That means we have to entitle MK to the 24 Wing, which is a long ways away. I guess we can buy another one too, but Conquest isn't quite in the "Shower with gold" phase by the time it's available to purchase.

He'd still be good though, arguably a straight improvement from Leo.

Actually, you don't need to give him any Speedwings for him to work. Assuming you have Horse Spirit (Ophelia's paralogue), MK has got +4 spd over Xander (+3 HS, +1 base) while being -3 def (Xander has 27 with Siggy, MK would have 24 with HS). So MK is already has Xander's two Speedwings, while having comparable Def and much more Res. And even though HS does less damage than Siggy, enemies generally have less Res, so they do similar damage. And if you feel like sacrificing a Dracoshield, suddenly MK has almost as much Def as Xander. I'm tempted to say this generic is more busted than Xander, if you feel like ignoring Xander.

Merchant is really bulky and hits hard. Spendthrift looks fun too.

Mechanist is solid all around and gets great weapons and replicate. Extra movement is good.

Master of Arms is solid all around as well and gets weapon triangle control.

Aptitude isn't factored into these growths either btw.

Like I said, if it has been like in Revelations with Garon telling the siblings to go kill Kamui or just fuck off and die if they fail, they'd have more of a reason to go against him since that shows that he's beyond reason and is willing to eliminate his own kin just because an adopted child and their servant decided to fuck off own their own while joining either side.

In Conquest, Garon still showed himself to be merciful and rational (on the surface at least) when he decided to spare Kamui after having consulted Anankos. He was also a target of an assassination attempt at the Opera House when he was spending time relaxing with his children. Him ordering the siblings to kill Hinoka, Takumi, and Ryouma also made sense because it was an invasion. It wasn't until he was revealed to be Gooron that the truth was finally revealed.

Killing a king is serious business though. Plus as children who suffered from in-family killing (the waifu wars) in addition to Garon being their own birth father, it makes sense that the Nohr siblings would hesitate to kill or go against his orders.

Also Xander would have +1 post-Wings due to Defender. 25 AS is what's needed to double everything in Chapter 18 and Xander barely reaches that with the Wings and Charlotte C support. This MK sadly would not, he'd miss it by 1 and need either Azura's Dance or Selena Rally (which she likely wouldn't have by then) to double.
