Not sure if trolling but in case you're serious or some other snipe shitter is seeing this....

if you truly had the impact you perceive yourself as having your win rate would be higher.

You occasionally pick off supports and spend 75% of the game time in sniper duels with equally shit tier snipers with a hit rate of less than 10% and rarely ever head shots.

The only thing you bring to the team is tying up the enemy sniper though that's a net loss because you tied yourself up to nullify someone so shit they're countered by simply moving.

Okay so she's not indestructible and she has counters. We get that. She will die if you put enough harassment on her. Surely though, her ultimate is not good for the game.

The general consensus when discussion Infra-Vision is that it's not fun to play against. Now normally I would say that isn't a valid argument but since it detracts from the entire game whilst it's in effect, I believe it should just be changed. I think the worst case scenario of this is in 1v1 situations that grant either party a major advantage. Obviously Hanzo has a similar effect but in Hanzo's case he needs to use his ability on an area and it has limited range from the target. Thus, it can be considered a basic skill shot.

Anyhow for me, I think the entire game would be better if she had a completely different and fun ultimate.

This all being said, I don't think the ultimate is any more or less OP as other ultimates, I just want to make that clear. The ultimate is strictly unfun to play against, and does nothing but remove skill from what could be an otherwise skillful play / game.

I was a UGC Platinum Demoman a few years ago and Overwatch is the first FPS I've played since then. I regularly get scores like 40-2 on Junkrat and often carry games on my own.

Problem is, the friends/coworkers that I play with are mostly MOBA players and suck at FPS's. I hate being on Attack because I can't eliminate their entire team AND push the cart or take the point at the same time. Defense and KoTH are fine because I can just kill most of the enemy team so they can't push.

Whenever we lose, my friends chalk it up to "they were playing an OP comp" or "our random Hanzo did nothing the whole game". I've tried to make suggestions, like getting one of them to Pocket Mercy me or just asking them to play stuff like Torbjorn, but nothing ever changes.

dont ask them to pocket mercy you, ask them to pocket zenyatta you and teach them how good his damage is. It's a trick essentially, in that you end up with harmony and the enemy with discord whilst they think they're doing work its all you.

Honest question:

Is it just me, or do 90% of the Ultimate abilities seem overtuned in a way?

I feel like they could reduce damages almost across the board and it would help frustration and gameplay immensely by reducing the amounts of times you are simply oneshot by shit you can't see or dodge.

Would also increase the amount of coordination between abilities needed, so maybe for ranked games this will be needed?
