Anyone know how this works with multi target hits? Thorn's Blight for instance. If it hits 5 guys and does 100 dmg at tick, would they end up all taking 75 extra damage, or only 15 extra damage? Or does it just not work on multi/ground target skills like that?

Oh, is that why I win most of my games? Buildables are not worth it unless you've got a bunch of extra shards. They die too easy and do basically nothing unless the enemy team is stupid. Trading hundreds of shards for the same amount of exp you can get from clearing a merc camp is a waste. Plus, it feeds enemies exp for killing them, as they're laughably easy to kill. Get your gear, buy super minions, then buy crappy buildings.

Toby is good, but he suffers the composition death knell of being more of a generalist. He has more flexibility in his growth, allowing him to adapt his role. He's not as good a sniper, but he's tougher, offers a hard control option, better at lane clearing, more mobility, and never having to worry about reloading is nice (also allows more flexibility in gear loadout if you're into that sort of thing).

Eh, I'd disagree. While the characters themselves definitely look a bit jarring standing side by side, the design and art direction of Battleborn is pretty good in my opinion. Its very bright and vibrant and theres a lot of little details in the game that help to give it life and personality.

And thats also a detractor to the game as well, unfortunately. In a teamfight it can be very difficult to pin down what exactly is happening on screen with so many explosions, particle effects, and ground effects on screen. This bleeds into the world of streaming and lets plays of the game as well- with so much going on its difficult for the viewer to comprehend what is happening, and with so many effects happening the average Battleborn stream is a blurry mess due to the low bitrate of a lot of streaming services.

Decided to try out Atticus, queued up for a few story missions to try him out. Only finished one out of five games and spent an embarrassing amount of time waiting for a rez. He feels squishy as hell for being a brawler style character, even picked up all of his regen abilities to try and survive, no dice. Does he get more mutations to make him tougher or do I just need a pocket healer to be effective?

Miko main here, join the steam group and hit me up (Balot) if you need a healer to run missions with if you want to learn him. Attikus is vicious late game; him and El Dragon are similar. both need a healer early game though unless youre very cautious. every good Attikus ive played with is an early game hit-n-run minion killer and a late game ruthless player killer.

I've had this issue with all the Borderlands games to the point where I've gotten used to it. Is it even something they can fix?

No what it means is that there were less than 1000 players playing at one time which means that not a lot of people are playing it anymore on PC. On release, 12000 people were playing it. Now a month in, the player-base ranges from 1000-4000 and is slowly decreasing.
