Clearly Blizzard has never designed any game at all, let alone a digital card game with millions of players. How can they expect to grow their player base with truly idiotic changes. Yeah sure, I haven't actually played with any of the new cards, but I have subscribed to /r/CompetitiveHS and I have watched numerous top level hearthstone streamers hit legend with exactly the plays I would make. So I really know how to design a card game.

**Also as a free to play player this really limits the good cards ftp rogue players can get by 1 whole card.** Wow. Design space my ass blizzard. My proposed change is to make blade flurry a better card than it is now. It will clearly never be played in its current state. *I know this for sure because I have already predicted how the meta will go with this expansion, I just don't wanna share it because it is too smart for most people.*

As a freeze mage, this infuriates me to no end. How could someone even call it brainless? You have to play 100% differently all the time with specific win conditions being your goal in specific matchups. The deck may be unbeatable at time but the amount of foresight and planning that goes in to every game is huge. You don't just think "how do i play around this" or "what do i do this turn" you have to think so many turns in advance about so many possibilities and how you're going to end up on top

So i made this deck for memes and fun, but it seems to work decently enough for me to take on ladder.

Any glaring issues? My current build is different than the pic because fuck mobile.

The explosive is to counter zoo and aggro shaman. Knife jugglers over bats because they never seem to do shit for me.

It's a bit greedy bit that's probably what you're after, juggler is bad in hunter now so don't go with that.

Drop an infested wolf and put in a kodo or tundra rhino. Consider dropping wrangler for a kodo or rhino also. I'd put the bats back in. One drops are at a premium right now and they contest both shaman one drops and warlock one drops really well.

I've been playing this game pretty much daily for the past two years, and I'm still missing Manaworm. I don't get it. Dozens and dozens of boosters later, and it still won't appear... Also, crafting is for homos.

It took me a good 30 packs before I got my first healbot and I'm 70+ packs in on old gods and still missing commons like ghoul and twilight elder but it's happy enough to give me duplicate epics.

How big of a deal is Nourish in C'Thun Druid? It wasn't recommended in the netdeck I found, but I've seen Kripp, Trump and plenty of others run it. Seems a lot more useful than Wrath...

I don't understand this leeroy in zoo meme. They have access to literally the best 5 drop in the game, doomguard, exclusive to their class, which is great at any point in the game, can fill multiple roles, doesn't even have a downside later in the game, and can act as a finisher while meming hard.

Leeroy is only good as a finisher and just does one more point of damage. Why play this when you can get on the doom train?

Malygos is the fucking aspect of magic, as in the shit mages use, aetherial energy or what the fuck ever suck my dick.
But no fucking mage in their right mind runs Malygos, only ROGUES, the sneaky shadowy faggots of manmade contraptions and sharp blades run the fucking aspect of magic.

Because sometimes you have a bunch of cards in your hand that are too valuable to discard, so the doomguard just sits in your hand doing nothing. Meanwhile Leeroy is a burst finisher you can bust out at any time you can close out the game.

When I was playing mid Shammy I think I disliked seeing fast aggro Warrior and other Shamans the most. Zoolock too. Basically something that could aggro me down fast. Oh control or N'Zoth pallies were a pain too. Dunno though, I didn't play a lot of ranked. It was my first season, so I just got to the single digits and called it good.

I never understood why Blizz thought 477 was a good idea. Overload was balenced for the longest time, it was the way Shaman cards could be good but not broken. Then, Tunneler Trogg comes in and everyone cries as Shaman surpasses Hunter as THE AGGRO CLASS. It just doesn't make any sense, how did Shaman go from completely underwhelming to "Nerf this or I'll quit playing"?

Either make it cost 5 mana while still having overload 2, or giving it 5 HP instead of 7. It's way too good at both offense and defense atm. Thing from below is pretty disgusting too, it should not cost less than 3 imo, given that you can summon totems in other ways than just your hero power.

My goal is to Shadowcaster Brann. Then Brann(1) my Blade of C'thun and win with Brann(1) C'thun.

Priest farms other control decks. You want to take it to fatigue.

Keep card draw at a minimum, and entomb annoying stuff like Sylvanas or Ysera to put you behind in fatigue. Hold onto N'Zoth to punish monkey if he runs it since No'Zoth is otherwise weak to Brawl. With some board presence, your hero power and a fatigue lead, you should be able to outlast him even with all the armor.

If you managed to bait out both brawls, it's probably safe to slam NZ, but that's unlikely because they're gonna save one specially for him. Otherwise, hold onto him to punish monkey since he almost always hard counters it.

I personally don't run Elise because in the matchups you would need her, they usually run their own. You want to entomb the monkey ideally, or at least pull the map/monkey from a shade.

Another thing to know is that if they start drawing like crazy, you gotta keep up with their card draw or they can potentially tempo you out with card advantage.

Typically, 3-4 cards behind in fatigue is a safe place to be.

Probably only female Draeni we're getting is Yrel either as a Paladin or Priestess.
Farseer Nobundu is pretty much guaranteed to be the alt Shaman and Vindicator Maraad has a strong chance for another alt Paladin.

Priest has always been complete shit, they only became relevant for a while because entomb. Until then they were a dumpster class and never saw the light of day.

They just don't have cards to work with, no win condition, c'thun is shit. They don't give them good cards but rather cards to steal from your opponent which makes them so hated, if they had good cards themselves they wouldn't need to steal.

Unlike warrior priest removal costs a shit load so they don't have much room for big legendaries as late game so it does pretty bad in that department too.

I've always liked playing priest but it's sad to see it be so shit all the time, hopefully they get shaman treatment next expansion. Of course it would be as insane as shaman is right now but it should be enough to make it viable at least.

In arena you can't draft board clears reliably or any other reliable means of taking the board back.

If you're in a position where Reno Jacksons healing will be relevant your opponent likely has the board and a 4/6 isn't a huge deal to clean up. Taking a second copy of a decent taunt is fine though, I'll grant I don't know what his other options were.

Reno isn't a very good card in arena. If you're ahead his healing isn't relevant and a 6 mana 4/6 is pretty unimpressive. If you're behind you lose him really quickly and the healing probably won't matter unless you have a sick nasty follow up.

From a general overview, the only real difference between a wild Aggro shaman and a standard one appears to be the lack of two crackles in the former.
But from playing the two decks in their respective formats; I've been getting much more success in wild compared to standard.
Would this indicate that standard has
1.better players?
2. More tech card usage/ meta?
3. Or some other factor.

Climbing wild has been the most cancerous/pants-on-head retarded process with a typical cancer shaman. Even accounting for control warriors and priests.

Play Patron instead. It's actually really good in the current meta, only downside is that it gets busted by most Control decks, which you don't see a lot of right now.

Tempo is better from 5-Legend since its matchups are more stable but Patron basically beats or is at least even against any deck without board clears right now.
