Why do people talk about forced 50%?

I was at 60%+ in the open beta and now I'm at like 35% and I keep joining losing games.

Quick question about Symettra.
I know to hide sentry turrets in bushes etc. but in some maps, there are objects like boxes and other miscellaneous 'junk' lying on shelves or on the floor. Are these objects server-side or client-side (I may be misusing these terms)?
I know in TF2 ragdolls are client-side, so hiding a stickybomb inside a player's corpse won't work, since the body will be in a different place to different people, but dropped ammo boxes and weapons are 'server-side' and will be in the same place to every player.
Is the junk on the floor in OverWatch the same way, or is it pointless to hide sentry turrets inside of it?

I wish Genji and Hanzo didn't exist just for the fact that people instalock them and give no fucks about team comp, and they plague every single fucking game, whether it's on my team or the enemy team.

That aside, when I do get to play other classes, it's mostly attack ones - Soldier, Pharah, Reaper - but I always seem to get fucked over by Genji.

Is there any kind of hard counter to that fucking robot ninja? It feels like every time I encounter a semi-competent one, they're just spazzing out like a seasoned Mortal Combat player with parkinsons is controlling him. Infuriatingly hard to track and hit, then they piss off to find a health pack or somehow stick in my blind spot until it's too late for me to find them.

I've put my mouse sensitivity up, it's helped a little, but I just don't think I'm playing the right classes to go toe to toe with Genji without frustration.

But why the fuck is D.Va so useless?
She doesn't heal, her damage is negligible, her E is borderline useless, all she can do is take a beating and not die, and chase people down. But that second part is complete shit because she does no god damn damage.

She also has nothing to get gold medals in easily. She can't lob shit over walls like Junkrat, or heal herself or others, and shielding doesn't give a medal and even if it did she'd lose to any Reinhardt with ease.

She is borderline useless, and she can't even make it look like she's any good, because she has nothing else.

You could go "just snipe them lol" about a lot of heroes. Fact is, its not always that easy in a game. Usually. Plus with the current trend of there being 2 shit widowmakers on every team, I'd rather not pick a 3rd sniper.

Bastion actually still works well against better palyers if you're playing him much more actively. I just revjump to a position, look for a kill or two, then go scout mode and harass until I find a deployment opportunity again.

Lucio, can contribute simply by existing alone, and in the hands of someone genuinely competent he becomes obnoxious and damn near unkillable.

D.Va, is incredibly bad across the board, is outperformed by four other characters as a flanker and is entirely useless as a frontline fighter. She's okay in King of the Hill at least. Bastion is pretty awful as well, if not her then definitely him.

her potential to shutdown ults with her E is enormous, lasts the full length of reaper/phara ults, can eat hanzos ult if timed properly, can nullify bastion while your team takes him out.

rush in to a point and knock people around, disrupting them and giving them a target that isnt the rest of your team, e while backing away or ult to make them scatter.

her damage is a bit low and she could be buffed a tiny bit but she isnt useless at all if you play her right

Her being a super close range fighter that slows itself while firing just contradicts itself. After you've boosted into someone the cooldown is also long enough for them to escape to their team.

Oh, and the entire cockpit being a critbox instead of her real head doesn't help either.

Genji has low damage output. If you outplay him by making him waste his E, he'll be forced to at least back off since you can now likely kill him. Without his E he's also fairly easy to chase down for Pharah, S:76, Tracer, Winston etc. Heroes like Roadhog and McCree can also just stun and kill him.

Also, Mei is genuinely good at protecting her team against Genji since you fucking can't fight her as Genji. You just have to back off because it's a 9-1 matchup or some bullshit like that. You can't even snipe the fat bitch from a distance.

I'm convinced that the people who bitch about mei in this general are all shitty genji mains

Actually, you totally can and should be targeting other tanks. D.Va's guns shreds other tanks. Having the ability to kill the tank first is pretty valuable for a lot of group cohesion is built around being able to hide behind Reinhardt.

the only one who cares about that armor is winston. roadhog only gets a 5 damage reduction (less than a pellets worth of damage, shotguns get reduced per shot, not per pellet), reinhardt has his 75 dmg swings reduced to 70 and his charge reduced from 350 to 340, Zarya also gets fucked by armor but she has shields that can increase her damage to crazy amounts

so reinhardt and roadhog beat her, winston loses and zarya depends on energy

I use it to relate the position of enemies and emergencies. When other people have mics I try to co-ordinate with them on the fly.

Tried to do it with text, but it becomes irrelevant by the time it's posted and leaves me vulnerable while writing.

still i see roadhog winning, roadhog point blank headshot is 18 dmg per pellet reduced to 13 due to armor (armor applies after critical damage unless it also got changed), which is 325 per shot. if he gets a hook and doesn't get baited by wasting bullets on defense matrix i can see him winning it most of the time
