The PS2 sold 155 million units. The Gamecube and Xbox both sold 20 million each. The PS2 was frankly just completely dominant.

Though looking at PS4 and Xbox One sales figures, the PS4 seems to be pretty dominant too. It's sold on the order of 30 million units to the Xbox One's 3 million.

Maybe AC7 will do alright after all. We'll have to wait and see.

Man, it seems like people are getting more and more kick-happy with each new TDM.

It used to be in NTDM you could expect to get get kicked for shooting down the wrong people too many times. It wasn't good but at least you could anticipate it. Now even attackers are getting kicked for rubbing the host the wrong way.

Tonight I got kicked for scoring 63k this time, 2k above the host on the opposite team while I was in an attacker. In NTDM. How is that grounds for getting kicked? Is it just a forgone conclusion to these people that they're supposed to win every time and if someone else wins it's their fault for... I don't know, not gimping themselves to let the host win? Those 2500 cst Strike Raptors are nice but you can't expect to let them carry you to victory every time in a team-based game.

Some people are probably blaming the game on other people instead of how shit the mode is, take for instance the fact that if an attacker has the anti homing part they don't need to put much effort into evading any missiles, for people in multiroles or fighters this kills the gamemode for them since they can't do their job effectively due to one overpowered part. Unless they have EML/TLS/MGP of course. Also by kicking people you can eliminate all competition getting you to easier wins which means more ranking points. It's a scumbag thing but that's the fate of having no real penalty for it.

The bigger problem is that planes in this game have unlimited energy and standard missiles while being somewhat AC4 QAAM like have to get a direct hit on a target. The only way to counter unlimited energy would be to make it so that a person followed by so many missiles for so long that one eventually hits. This would all be changed if they had predictive firing since people would have to think about how to evade as mindlessly turning in circles would easily kill a player.

The host was early 1800 MR, and I was early 1700s MR. It was an "All Players Welcome" room. Had a level 13 1874 cst Fullback with GDP equipped.

I wasn't even like I was wearing on him over time either, just popped into the room to get some sorties in, happened to win/MVP against the host the first match and I was kicked before I even made it back to the screen (and I START my way through all that post-credits stuff).

I still think Stonehenge was the best implemented super weapon. Not only is it the perfect foil for fighter aircraft, it was built up amazingly. They start by telling how it was originally built for shooting down meteors and how it helped completely overwhelm USEA in the invasion to give you a sense of its power. I didn't actually realize it but you can run the Ace Combat games in widescreen mode natively? It seems to do something where it runs at 480p but squishes the image so when it's stretched by your TV it looks correct. Really neat.

Delay depends almost as much on the site you're streaming to and the software you're using as much as the hardware.

Yeah, Comona and B7R hard both have kinda weird music, though B7R's I kinda get. Gelb is such a short and underwhelming track, and Imminent Threat is not the right track in any way for that map. I think either Escort, Aquila, or even the OG Comona would have fit better. And for B7R, I'd prefer either Unexpected or The Final Overture.

You know what might be pretty cool?

AC7's gimmick is going to be clouds, it'd be pretty cool if they combined that with a Glatisant/Tango Line thing where you're flying below the tops of mountains, with limited visibility and a real thick fog, Like the mission in 04 where you need to shoot down the jammers.

Could be either a really fun, atmospheric mission, or the most frustrating shit ever.

Find an eight player room. If half of the room (or less) is 2000+, then ditch. Otherwise, stick with it.
Make sure your team has fighters and attackers. Pick what's needed. Multiroles, while capable, are lacking enough in damage that unless you're rocking a high tier multirole that's above 15, you're going to be using a lot of extra missiles. You'll also have to deal with the fact that your special weapon is probably useless.
But anyway, just run Alps like you normally would and be mindful that the third wave all takes place around the same area, so once you're there you never have to go far. If you're on ground duty, mind the respawning yellows. Just keep turning and shooting.
