So i'm thinking of doing a dex twinswords build for my second playthrough. Are they actually good or are they gimicky? what advantages do they have over regular 1handed weapons?

Anybody else feel really underwhelmed with the ending to this game compared to Das1, hell even Das2? I wasn't expecting anything, but the last boss I breezed through it on my first try, and the ending cutscene was pretty lackluster. Only boss in this game that actually gave me any trouble and feeling of accomplishment was the fucking nameless king, that fucker took me nearly 2 hours.

Way of the Blue is intended for newb players. So how do you get it? You need to talk to the hag AFTER she gives you Lothrics Flag to get Way of the Blue. How many newbies do this? Surprisingly not many. Then they have to put it on. See as soon as many newbies find the Sunlight covenant, you think they going to equip that way of the blue shit? LMAO.

Now the only other way to get Way of the Blue automatically is when she dies before dancer and you loot it off her corpse. See at this point in the game people are level 50+ and co oping and may also be in a pvp covenant like wolfs or fingers or mound makers or sunbroing it up. YOU THINK THEY HAVE WAY OF THE BLUE ON? LOL NOPE.

And even if you find that lone guy who has it on, he has to be in ember mode, and have a phantom and get invaded, only for it to call on 1 blue out of possible 100s, and by the time you get there, the host is dead.

They should've made Blues auto invade to counter Reds, not require someone equipping Way of the Blue ring/covenant item its such a shit tier design.

Sorceries are fine where they are. Crystal Soul Spear is strong and not too expensive and the laser is decent if you've got that invis ring.

Also, there are plenty of slabs by the end of the game. You should be able to upgrade six or so weapons and if you still need some then you can go farm them. Not any worse than only getting 3 guaranteed slabs in DS1.

It's not. Vendrick wasn't a god he was just a cool guy who stole shit from the Giants to make his golems but the giants got pissed and invaded then his waifu who was actually Manus betrayed him.

The characters you meet are undead they can stick around as long as they don't go hollow from losing a sense of purpose. However the real reason is because Miyazaki is a hack who doesn't know what made Ds1 good so 3 is just trying to be as Ds1 as possible even if it means copy pasting characters like onion bro.

Darkmoon Longbow is just a longbow that scales with INT. The weapon art is the exact same, even in visuals, as the longbow Puncture. It adds 20 magic damage.

Ages pass between games, and the region Anor Londo is in literally in the ass end of the world where people send the undead because they know they go fucking insane and no one wants to deal with that shit.

That place also happens to be filled with tons of adventurers and important shit because it was once where the seat of power for the entire continent/world was.

On top of that, you've got dimensional weirdness, time distortion, and the fact the entire history of the world is endless cycles repeating.

Sorceries are bad for the investment required. The SL to get a decent sorcery build would net you an AMAZING build of any other kind except Faith. So yes while they are technically alright by themselves when compared to the other options they are terrible.

Except for Faith of course. It's just flat out terrible. Don't even try that "Oh my Sunlight Spear hits for 1k at 50 Faith and all the rings on while I am currently in the process of fisting the persons asshole". Nobody gets hit by Lighting Spears ever in any game. Much less when you are standing right in their face and it takes an extra millisecond to cast the poise buff.

They're all incredibly good for PvE.

For PvP, the swords and the maces are exceptionally good. The swords because of their bullshit phantom range rolling R1 and the maces because of their god-tier damage and fantastic tracking on their WA.

Just lost 10k souls in Cathedral of the Deep twice.

Pretty frustrated. People bitched about how Dark Souls 2 made areas "difficult" by just mobbing you with enemies, and this is the exact same thing, but way, way worse.

Around every corner is a mob of guys climbing up over the rail or dropping from the ceiling. You fight 3+ enemies like six or seven times.

Does anyone know if Champion can use his shoulder slam or kick after any attack? Or only certain ones?

I'm having a ridiculously hard time with this boss and it's mostly because I simply don't have time to attack between a regular attack and one of those two, and I can't seem to recognize when he can use them.

I also have absolutely no idea how to consistently avoid taking damage from his charging thrust attack. I've tried rolling left, right, unlocking and rolling around him, rolling right into him, and just running away from him. I have managed to block the first hit of it and roll through the rest (I think? something like that), but I want to learn this boss without a shield.

I'm playing on a very dated rig but I can still get Witcher 3 on high at 1080 at ~30 frames average, completely playable

Fucking DKSIII is utterly unplayable, jumping between 10-40fps depending on which way my camera's facing. It also crashes constantly and I'm suspecting some sort of memory leak.

Sucks too, because the game I've been able to get through so far seems amazing with a huge amount of small attention to detail stuff. On a side note I fucking love how the new firekeeper is chanting verses when levelling you up.

Luck builds are viable, yes, but you're mostly going to be using Anri's Straight Sword, which naturally scales with Luck and has very good damage output.

Hollow gems can be farmed from the staff-wielding crow men, and you can find two of them on corpses: One in Farron Keep, and the other in the Great Archives.

I feel like it's great stat to use if you wanna twink, because you get +5 to Luck if you have 20 or more hollowing-- and all you have to do is equip the Hollow weapon/shield! If you combine Anri's Straight Sword with the Man-Grub Staff, then you've got a potent twink build ready to go, and both of those weapons are available pretty early on.

It's not even like you have to use the sword anyway, since you can just make a hollow weapon.
