The problem is poise doesn't exist. Hyper-armor does but poise ala Dark Souls 1 does not. There is no upside to a big heavy weapon other than high damage per hit.

I main a Luck build on PS4 and PC.

Best bleed weapon imo, and one of best weapons in the game is the Carthus Curved Sword, infused with hollow + bleed resin. Fast as shit, quick running attacks to catch estus punish, bleed fuckers out in 3 hits.

The enemies can combo you like in Bloodborne but your character uses the old Dark Souls movement.

What the fuck were they thinking? It'd make sense if you could be aggressive and gain health by doing large combos. But the enemies are fucking aggressive and you can't be anywhere near as much

I miss the slow movements of the normal enemies in the previous games. It fit with DaS combat.

can someone explain why my dragon crest shield was working fine in lava but then after i picked up a soul it suddenly doesn't protect me from the lava anymore?

There is an entire infusion that scales on Luck.

Luck is meant for bleed based weapons. It's better than bleed infusion by a mile since you can still buff the weapon with a bleed resin.

Hollow Infused weapons also give a +5 stat bonus to Luck if you're at 99 Hollowing. Having a hollow infused weapon and shield gives you 10 free levels in Luck, meaning you can level to 30 instead of 40.

It's an incredibly strong build when done right. Usually a hybrid of something else, or you can just go 40 luck and then healthgouge the rest.

This literally never happened, ever, when i was playing on the jap PS4 version but now on PC there's periods of time where i literally can't do anything to enemies.

I even manage to win this fight in the end because my hits started registering but this is happening to me extremely often.

Luck gives weapons at max upgrade and 40 Luck like 7 or more points extra in Bleed damage on a weapon. This adds up like fuck when you're hitting repeatedly with a fast weapon + bleed resin.

It's better than 2 at least. It reminds me of Dark Souls and Demon's Souls mixed in with a bit of Bloodborne. It suffers from the Bloodborne shit to be honest, I liked Bloodborne but it was it has a lot of problems that I didn't want to see in the souls series.

My only major gripe with the game as a whole is it feels far more linear than the previous games and the level design is pretty shit in some places. They did a very good job with the difficulty curve though, I'm feeling like I'm constantly on my toes throughout my entire playthrough rather than just steadily becoming stronger than the enemies in the area and wiping through them.

So Siegbro's stuck in a well, and patches isn't in the cathedral or firelink.

It'll do split damage of magic and physical under Crystal. To do a Crystal infusion you need the Sage's Coal, first. Not all weapons are even worth infusing in such a way, it depends entirely on how well the weapon scales off the stat, plus the base magic/physical damage after the infusion.

Crystal also isn't that great pre-40 Int
