Is the lothric knight long spear good for a quality build? Out of the three pike class weapons, which is the best?

Afaik the lothric spear and pike both have the same fp cost but greatlance costs more and I assume is heavier, but has a higher base damage and probably scaling.

Also, does two handing give you a flat damage bonus, or is it from effectively having 1.5x strength? Or does two handing only meet requirements without acting like you have the actual str needed?

E.g. at 27 str, when two handing, does the damage scale from the 27 strength or the effective 40? And do weapons that have no scaling get a damage boost just from two handing or is it purely based on said str stat?

Invasions seem to be less for souls and more for getting covenant items. And regaining your humanity or whatever if you need the health in a certain area.

Allright strength bros, help a fellow greatsword-in-one-hand strengthfag out. Looking for a good weapon to use, as I'm still using my broadsword. Preferred weapons were Manserpent in DS1, Club/Mastadon in DS2, and Beastslayer/Hunters Axe in BB.

Found the club, but was disappointed with the move set. The Executioner's Greatsword is the best I've found so far, but I am eying the Butcher's Knife quite intently.

Loaded up DaS3, PC crashed, then everything looked fucked on restart.

Have you tried getting good? I've had very few invasions where the host has any summons and when there is a squad of them it's challenging but usually not too difficult to murder the host. Mound making is even easier when you can just ditch the host and kill a phantom if you feel like it.
