I followed a guide to downgrade my n3ds months ago, and I left it on 9.2 sysnand, and 10.3 emunand. I really want to upgrade to a9hl but don't know a ton about any of it since I just followed a guide before.

I have a problem guys, I can't seem to install a clean TWL_FIRM. I was trying to downgrade to 2.1 emuNAND and it threw the error at me at the end when it tried to install TWL_FIRM. So I restored the backup and tried to deal with it using FBI; pulled a clean one out of the 9.2 firmware zip. FBI throws an invalid signature error at me. I am running on fucking CFW, the signature checks are disabled, what the fuck? Do I need the specific fucking TWL_FIRM packed in the 10.7 update in order for it to install onto a 10.7 emuNAND? Because if so I have to fucking trash this emuNAND and make a new 9.2 one to fucking fix this problem before I can continue.

Quick question here, is there anyway to play heart gold on my O3DS with rxtools? Only game i'm interested with from the DS era except perhaps Radiant Historia.

I was part of the psp scene back in like 06 so when Patapon came out it was almost 3 months before a working cfw came out that let me play it on cfw, so I ended up just going ofw.

Why can't I install anything on FBI anymore? I managed to get the FBI and Homebrew apps through it, and then I tried opening the installed FBI app and installing a cia, and this showed up:

I'm on cakes and wanna downgrade to install a9lh. Do I use the process in the guide or safea9linstaller?

I have a new n3DS, Oot and a powersaves.
I'm on 10.6, literally going through first time startup and I'm going to start on the plailect guide.
I have no save data or even games to care about keeping.
Formatted a 64 GB Sandisk card to FAT32, cluster size 32.
There are now 2 folders in the root, Nintendo 3DS folder which is 10.2 MB and a folder called cache which is 0 bytes. (sub folder called firefox)
Is the SD card ok to proceed, and also....
I set the date and time on the 3DS, and I went to set up the Internet Connection, I connected to my network, but then it asks me to accept the user license agreement after that.
Similarly, when I click to set up a NNID, it asks me to accept a user license agreement.
I have not even set up a NNID.
Should I accept it and do these things now, or wait until later when I am further in the guide? Thank you

I'm not totally interested in SM3L because I've played SM3W on Wii U and didn't find it fun playing alone, only during multiplayer. They work, they only not work if you still use emunand (which you don't need to do)

They work if you're using updated SysNAND with any CFW. They don't work if you're using a9lh + Cakes + EmuNAND.

Reason is because GBA saves go to SysNAND itself, then SysNAND processes them and saves them to the SD card when it loads up. With the Menuhax setup, it got the time to do that in the 10 seconds you spent in SysNAND. With a9lh+EmuNAND, SysNAND never loads and it doesn't get the time to process GBA saves. AuReiNand has a workaround for it (forces SysNAND boot after returning from GBA) but it's not an issue if you just use a9lh SysNAND like a sane person.
