Start cubing up until epic and stick to that until you get to the 140/150 equipment. You can just transfer potentials to any new piece of gear you get, so long as the two gear pieces are within 10 levels of each other and are equipped in the same slot.

But generally speaking, you should cube as late as you can. Some classes like mages have retarded level scaling, Blue Marine as an example is lv 95 while the staff after that one is 110.
Blue Czar is 108 while the next robe is 120 etc.

Reboot is fun, don't worry about leveling up because it's really easy right now. Christmas boxes can have bonus exp buffs in them. And once you hit level 33 you can do a daily check in and on the first day you get a necklace that gives 10% bonus exp every hour you're logged in up to 30%. And the burning event is happening so at level 33 you can pick a character per server and for every level up they get three instead.

You guys probably don't notice it because you're all on reboot. Latency issues fixed with Dawn Warrior, which means they can boss properly now with Equinox Cycle and get that juicy % damage boost from Sol Tide and queues are almost instantaneously it's amazing.

We didn't have this particular exploit in KMS because we stopped using the GMS cash shop a few years back. I think a year and a half or so actually. I've played maplestory on and off for a few years, and I've never been funded. Playing on this server is great knowing that nobody else has such an extreme advantage over anyone else. All you gotta do is set your stone dragon at top platform, drop down platforms while using the chain skill, then use grapple to to third, but while in midair and about to land, use your 1st job flame skill to hit a few mobs, then repeat the platform jumping strat. Once elite boss spawns, go into final form and kill right away to guarantee 2 boxes :^)

so if im doing this correctly now...
always leave the main attack skill missing 1 skill point so its at 19 so you will be able to get all the other skills that are locked as you increase your job.

I always do the attack skill last just to be safe personally. Worth noting higher the skill level the higher the mp cost will be. In some cases you better off not increasing it. One hit overkill is still a one hit kill as far as the game cares.

Xenons are fucking amazing in 4th job with Reboot.
I have around 70k range fully buffed. They get %avoid along with their stance buff, 10 bypass attacks, %boss and %IED skill, a binding skill at 170, and a few other goodies.

They're great. At 150 and when you're bossing you'll be using your hyper buff, blade dance + missles to do sick deeps. I think I was hitting 200k crit lines with Snipe @ 150
