Starcraft(the original) wasn't good until many many many patches, an expansion, and many patches into that expansion.

It takes time, a huge player base and lots of testing. Something this game doesn't FUCKING HAVE.

At least this game has individual skill where you can make yourself stand out and make plays/carry your teammates even in 6v6, unlike HOTS. That was a major thing that completely killed HOTS for me, being able to do it in this game is insane.

I've seen widow makers and tracers and mccrees and reapers basically kill the entire enemy team by themselves then we take the node/finish payload etc. I've done it a few times myself, too.

Literally cant do anything alone in HOTS, so this game really has lots of potential to be fun to watch and play competitively!

So, I've been invited to beta weekend test and had a blast playing with a friend. But the beta ended and so we were left hanging for seven fucking months.

But today I just launched the game out of desperation, and to my biggest surprise, it worked. I've got into the game and played a few matches on the maps that weren't in the beta too.

Ayy, hol' up. Engineer is great. He's one of the more difficult classes to play effectively. He doesn't take twitch aiming and skill on that level, and it's easy to get through a pub without dying a lot and getting some kills.

But a good Engi can basically win the game for his team. Here are some common mistakes shit Engineers make, and some misconceptions people have about Engineer:
>Sentries are for kills, not area denial
>Every Sentry needs to be watching the objective, instead of one on the point and another in an aggressive spot
>Teleports are useless/for getting to my sentry when I die
>Dispensers are just for the Engineer to get metal
>Engineer needs to stand behind his sentry at all times
A good Engi values his teleporters above everything, and uses his dispensers to give his team support on the front lines. The sentry is his least important building, and should be put in a spot to discourage the enemy from pushing as opposed to trying to get cheap kills. Usually by watching the objective or guarding a teleporter.

Engi takes map knowledge, coordination, and good game sense. A good Engi can completely change the flow of the game by getting a teleporter up on the front line with a good nest.

I'm sick of hearing people claim he's the easiest class in the game, and then see at least 2 shit Engies in every game I play.
