Jokes aside, while you're grinding through the bullshit of low level games, use that IP to buy all the cheapest champions so you have a decent pool. Most of the ones that are at the bottom of the price scale are still decent, and more than enough to win in low level games. After that, save up for Runes at level 20. They're stat boosts you can use on different characters in whatever combination you choose, but if you haven't got them you'll be at a direct disadvantage. If you really do have 4k games of DotA, the rest shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

janna is good with premades where you trust your adc. playing janna is basically putting all your trust into your ad. you make them a turbo monster.
you dont have to play janna, she's a good champ to learn but if youre comfortable with nami that's cool too. i just love playing with adcs i trust and making them fuck shit up :)

Garen shares the same weaknesses as most AD bruisers: they get kited. But they have strengths too i.e. destroying anyone that gets close.

If you want a different playstyle i would suggest playing an assassin (high damage and mobility but really squishy)

Yes runes and masteries are very important for jungling. Most of the time it's simply makes more sense to park 2 guys top than try to have a handicapped jungle in low level games.

If you want to try jungling though you want to start with Warwick, Nunu or Fiddlesticks, all of which have great sustain that allows them to jungle with even less optimal and limited runes and masteries.

If I'm playing a relatively immobile champ up top (Say, Volibear/Trundle), and I'm shitting on my lane opponent to the point that he has 0 chance of 1 vs 1'ing me, then what should my team be doing if I'm pushing top hard enough that the enemy has to send 2-3 people up top to deal with me?
I ask because I figured they should be, you know, pushing the other lanes to get shit done while I've been diverting attention away, but instead I look and see them farming camps and slow pushing and what not.

If you're splitpushing get a shitload of wards. You want to know early as possible if the enemy team is coming to stop you, so you can back off, and also so your team can start to force an objective. As long as your team aren't getting caught out eventually you'll get an objective if the enemy team can't group without you getting towers by yourself. Try also backing and switching lanes, if you're lucky you can get a tower while they still have half their champs top side waiting for you to over extend. Splitpushing doesn't always work, but these things will maximize your chances of taking a win that a stupid team has no right to have.
