He does decent as a poke mid in a siege comp; he's like Jayce minus the ridiculous burst in his melee form but with fairly oppressive snipes on a moderately low cd

His teamfighting really isn't great though because the only way he stays relevant lategame is by building attack speed/crit which means he's piss easy to focus. The gimmick around this is to put him mid and build around his Q like I said earlier but then his teamfight is still shit because you have low attack speed, no reliable steroid and it's SHIT to have a carry whose only real source of damage is on a 5 sec cd lategame.

His passive is also pretty awful since it really only helps you win teamfights you're already winning
