I had a smooth time through the DLC, but Defiled Amy and Paarl 2 fucked m up the ass an hour each before I got past them.

I eventually learned to constantly hit Amy's left hand to eventually beat her and just prayed I actually hit Paarl's legs instead of swinging wildly then finished him off with a cannon when he reached both rage mode and full charge.

Still have Pthumeru and Isz left to do, I am not looking forward to Ebrietas.

Your normal attacks won't be the best with these gems, but your L2 will one shot people from 1200HP.

I'm currently running 1 crappy cold abyssal radial, abyssal triangle and a flat arc radial and your normal attacks do respectable damage. I'm still working towards perfect abyssals but I can't be bothered farming Elder for the 50th time.

kos parasite has an attack multiplier of like 2.0. the listed AR is literally the AR of the human form punch. the tentacle attacks do way more damage than the AR would indicate

because of this, +flat gems give half their expected value on parasite, because flats don't take attack multipliers. your AR will go up, but your damage will go down

the L2 is an exception because it is multi-hit, like logwheel

I've put thousands of hours into DS1 and the though of going back to souls sort of fills me with dread. DS3 could be fucking amazing, but it won't be Bloodborne. I do want a BB2, I don't care how it's justified. Just another game with trick weapons, dashes, ayyliums and firearms.

God they really buffed arcane damage.

amygdala arm is strictly STR (can't be made arcane) and is basically a 1h great club that transforms into the fucking soul edge. it's really strong in pvp and i think the main reason no one's talking about it is that it's 50 str only

boomhammer sucks, though. all these can be found in the first area
