I haven't played Vicky 2 since launch. Does the AI still act like warmongering retards with european wars happening every 2 minutes? I would argue how that flag is basically the symbol of Mensheviks and how using it as Bolshevik flag would trigger me, but you seem pretty set on keeping it as it is. I'll finally give up and go try to make a communist georgia flag myself. There is not much variety because the soviet flags were just a yellow სსსრ on a red flag and the awful blue bar and sun. I'm not sure how you 'lose' at EU4. The game has no predefined goals, unlike HOI3 with its victory conditions, nor does it have a prominently displayed ranking mechanic that affects ease of play, like V2's Great Power system. So I'm not sure what you mean, perhaps you could elaborate.

I tried shipping them off to africa since I own liberia for some reason but they rebuilt the navy, got the men home, AND recruited like 5x more from the pops, meanwhile I have no men to recruit at all

The second one is one that sets up the secession of all Indian lands gained by the British Empire to the East India Company. An example in this picture is the Empire taking Pegu. In 5 days (mtth) all of that land will go to the EIC

No it's mana if it's some magical pool of abstracted stuff that (usually) replenishes automatically. Leadership mana in Vic2 is a perfect even though it's used for only one thing.

My reasoning behind the French Canadian acceptance was to try and make the best out of a bad situation, the last thing the Empire would need are more French to fight in it's own borders. Besides isn't the French King in exile in the Empire?

And I think Nicaragua should be more important as before the continental railway and the Panama canal it was the fastest way to go from coast to coast, the Empire and America would almost certainly conflict over it in this scenario. Not to mention the Rivas province and Bluefields look pretty nice when owned by the Empire, very aesthetic borders.
