Yeah the whole reason the split of Man'ari and Draenei happened is one joining the BL, and thus working with demons, and one not. It's pretty reasonable to assume none of the ones who want to work with demons went with the Draenei, and if they did, they would be accepted in society

Hey wowg, a friend of mine and I want to play Alliance on a fun server and pvp. I used to be on Bleeding Hollow but ally side is now dead for the most part. We were thinking either Emerald Dream or Kel'Thuzad/Tichondrius/Darkspear. Is the RP element of ED as much as we think it is? It seems I wasn't that far off on my choices the last time I played then. Then again, I'd need to know how to advance forward and git gud, since players do expect you to be a god at low levels.

And don't get me wrong; I did legitimally play a Tauren paladin up to +60 before going Death Knight on a goblin, so more or less I had the basic foundations.

I played on Emerald Dream for the entirety of BC (horde side) and there was very little walk-up RP. There was a small RP community despite the size of the server and the few RPers I knew were ostracized like they would be on any other non-RP server.

The RP there was very much opt-in with pre-planned, structured events. I watched a few but never participated myself. Also this was all 6-7+ years ago so maybe it's changed.

The RP wasn't a huge deal.

You know, besides gnome hunters, blizz really needs to expand the non-magical classes to every race. That means warrior, Hunter, rogue, and yes monk.

If they can justify goblin and human/undead hunters, which they have, then we're getting gnome hunters.

If you can justify Orc and panda rogues, then Tauren and Draenei rogues should exist too.

You don't need a panda teaching monk shit to goblins/worgen. Just have the goblin teacher be a brass knuckle mafia guard and the worgen one be an old timey British "put up your dukes" boxer.

Hunter is actually a really fun pvp class.
Rogue is a little overrated. It has a bad name from world pvp when you don't see the sap coming, but in battlegrounds you're slightly less effective, and ranged pvp just seems to have a better time unless you're a DK or something.

Alliance is full of pussy-ass elitist retards. It's like they're all belfs with the added benefit of looking down on belfs. You'll find it easier to find RP partners because all the races get along really well, and a lot more nice scenery in capital cities and towns.

Horde RP is full of racist guilds that only want to talk in their racial tongue, and even if you do get in you'll mostly talk about who does and does not have honor. Some of the storylines will become much more interesting and complicated if you find rp partners that aren't the generic race snobs.

Any Mistweavers in here not happy with the Legion class preview?

Honestly, what the fuck? They kept talking about "enhancing class flavor" with every single other class and spec and it genuinely seemed like they had some good ideas. Yet they get to Mistweaver and their proposed changes destroy whatever flavor the class currently has and dull it to mindnumbing levels of holy priest and resto druid.

First of all, the complete removal of Fistweaving is dumb. It shows that they've completely given up on trying to balance it. It's current state is basically that you don't NEED to use it but you should if you want to be optimal. Why the fuck would they just completely give up on it? Could've made it a fourth spec imo, just return in to MoP level numbers.

Then the removal of Chi. What the absolute fuck? You can't seriously fucking say you want to keep class flavor and then remove something as impactful as a secondary resource bar. First time I read this in the patch notes I should've caught on that they intend to dumb down the entire class and homogenize- errr, i mean, "make it more intuitive"

I honestly hop between the two. My favorite horde character is my panda, and my favorite alliance character is my gnome dk. They've both had a lot of fun adventures and I'd gladly wish my experiences on you.

You'll have the most fun if you have a character you care about and then take them through stories you find. You just gotta figure out if you want to be an Orc or a Dwarf and what it is that you find most appealing about WoW.

Worgen can be super interesting if done right. Class doesn't matter because really you were at one point a Human with normal hopes and dreams and aspirations. You get this curse thrown at you and join the Alliance because your home got sacked by zombie fuckers and on some level you'll either want to make a new life for yourself or lead the charge on the revenge train (which is hopefully good in Legion).

You won't find it hard to RP a Worgen, but I recommend you avoid any druid-themed guilds or worgen-themed guilds because those are autistic hugbox furfags that don't take the lore seriously and it's hard to enjoy the game with them around.

Join a normal rp group and you'll fit in just as well.
