So i just came back to wow, boosted a warlock, went into tanaan jungle

I got from Itemlevel 640 to 654 after clearing all available rares and treasures, and now im stuck. LFR queue is 2 hours and thats it.

Make it do slightly more damage than ranged. It will have uses in scenarios where you aren't melee heavy, or in fights that are more about pure DPS than ranged doing some mechanic. Marks core skillset and role is good enough that it can do less DPS than other classes/specs but still be valuable for raid. So long as marks has good priority target burst, it will be good to have.

Exactly. You have the best of both worlds in one class and you can probably use the same trinkets and some off-pieces.

If you hate doing adds, well, you still got Surv. If you get bored of melee, you got two ranged specs to choose from.

The only bad side of this is if you want to raid on the top end, where your raid leader will make you either go melee or ranged, depending on fight. I wouldn't enjoy that, to be honest.
