I know that the warrior is a fairly archetypal warrior and the stalker is a fairly archetypal rogue, but who can also tank which is cool, but can anyone give any deeper comparison between the two? How - I guess playstyle/fun-wise as well as strength-wise - do they compare as DPS and as tanks? I prefer the warrior aesthetically but the stalker is cool in being something a bit different. I fucking suck at picking classes in RPGs, damn.

As far as I can understand, having extremely limited experience with both classes (I main Engie):

Warrior DPS: keep enemies within your range by force, loads of melee AOE.
Warrior Tank: INTERRUPTS FOR DAYS

Stalker DPS: Stealth once or twice then blow your assassination load all over the enemy's face.
Stalker Tank: make a huge ass out of yuorself to get attention, then dodge everything forever.

For tanks,

Warrior: Good mitigation, great passive self healing. Most build flexibility of the tanks by a lot, allowing for more interrupts, utility, or whatever you need to bring.

Stalker: Kind of the middle ground on tanks. Good deflects but not as good as it used to be before F2P. Self healing is better than Engie but not as good as Warrior, cooldowns are also kind of in the middle. Very strong but long timers. Threat is way worse than both.

Warrior is great at feeling like a knock-down, drag-out brawler. Tons of interruption, disruption, and battlefield control. Your flashbang literally pauses NPC autoattacks for a few seconds, it's super underrated.

Plus the abilities have a ton of CD resets and reduction baked into the T4/8 tier bonuses, which are awesome at emphasizing the human salad shooter feeling.

Engieman, if I may be cheeky - could also also give me a brief description of the engineer in the same vein as what you've given me for warrior and stalker? I hadn't really considered the engineer much, having a bit of a melee hard-on, but a ranged tank is quite a cool idea really.

Only went from 10-11 today because shit internet, but I did get the jetpack ability from path. It either really sucks, or it is upgraded as you level path.
The only thing in the cash shop I see that might have utility is some tool for harvesting, but I don't know much about harvesting yet.
The game feels a bit lonely even as an exile, but I'm still on the fence on actually joining the guild. I'm not really into ERP.

Before 50, you don't have to worry about it too much. The build being referenced is probably where you put your Bio Shell at T4 and then just have fun with whatever, usually Bolt Caster or Electrocute. Having Volatile Injection and the AMP that lets you gain volatility when you dash is a nice way to pick yourself up when you don't have an attacking builder.

The only way to fuck up tree is to plant a non-special sproutling if they're making a gold attempt. But I haven't seen a gold attempt since the 'daily 8pm PST gold' circle died.

At this point the more the merrier, because you can actually fail the event if you don't defend the tree in the final phase.
