Reminder that priest in vanilla is a melee ranged hybrid with a dot and a few healing spells.

To optimally level with priest and deal shitloads of damage (Making it one of the top 5 leveling classes in vanilla) You are supposed to use both a wand and your melee weapon, which gets its swig timer reset by your wand.

The difference is from TBC/WotLK, with each xpack the exp. require on up to the previous level tier goes down.
So when TBC came out, you needed less xp per level to make it to 60; same thing with WotLK.

5 Reasons not to play on Lordaeron
-- a list by Pezado --

1) Molten has a long history of scamming and shady business practices. In the past they would do things like randomly suspend people's accounts and offer for them to be restored for a cash donation. When they weren't making enough money from their cash shop they decided to intentionally break the Shadowmourne quest line so the only way to obtain the weapon would be to pay €70.

2) After five years their other WotLK servers are still horribly broken. The idea that Lordaeron will be any different is a joke. Molten is all about making money and they will only put in just enough effort to achieve that goal and not a bit more.

3) Gross mismanagement. They've had their databases wiped twice due to the owners jewing eachother. It is not advisable to invest time into Lordaeron because its very possible your character will be destroyed some time in the future. You can read all about this here: http://pastebin.com/tktcCEFC

5) Pay to win. They claim you only will be able to donate for gear 1 tier below the current raid, but everyone knows that's a lie. Lordaeron will go full pay2win before the end of T8 raid content.

It's actually the opposite. Since they haven't really done a fucking thing to improve their WotLK servers, open source emulation has caught up with Molten and then some. In terms of mechanics and most of the content, anyone could set up a better server in an hour, no exaggeration.

That doesn't apply to Blackrock (Arenatournament) and the new Lordaeron, though, as they've at least been forked more recently.

Curious what the LK encounter looks like on Warmane? Here's a taste of the bugs you will find:
- Multiple wrong timers during Phase 2 and especially Phase 3 (Defile and probably Val'kyr as well)
Shambling Horrors
- Should be target-able and/or attack-able from the very instant it spawns, during its rising animation from the ground.
- Are able to melee swing anything (includes totems, pets, etc) that is close to it when it isn't target-able (as it spawns), occasionally one-shotting players.
- Shockwave and enrage spells are cast way more often than they should.
- Can sometimes instant-cast shockwave.

Raging Spirits
- Necrotic Plague can bounce to Raging Spirits and kill them (this shouldn't happen).
- Only 3 Raging Spirits spawn during the 2nd transition phase instead of 4.
- Can move and cast Soul Shriek during Harvest Soul - they should be "stunned" at their original position when Harvest Soul begins.

Val'kyrs
- Val'kyrs drop the players way further than it should, which means you can't "Demonic Portal" or "Intervene" back after being dropped (like should be doable).
- Val'kyrs speed is way higher than it should be and they're not affected by slows and stuns like they should be (should be reduced effect and there should be a visible buff on them that displays this).
- Upon reaching 50% HP, Val'kyrs do not.
- Val'kyrs have a chance to miss players and not grab anyone.
- Val'kyrs can attempt to grab pets (includes snake trap, standard class combat pets and non-combat pets as well).

Defile
- Rate at which Defile grows (slightly faster than it should be with 1-2 players on it, and way faster than it should with 3-4 players on it).
- Defile causes damage and spreads when players affected by Harvest Soul are dragged over it.
- The Lich King can cast Defile on corpses.

Vile Spirits
- Vile Spirits can be summoned by The Lich King during Frostmourne phase.
- Vile Spirits' speed is higher than it should be.
