Cosmo was the birth and death of the speedrunning scene. He was a founder of speedrunners live, and he ran any game that interested him in the slightest, which influenced people to try speed running any game out there, not just the popular ones. He may not be the best gamer ever, but he got the ball rolling and served as an inspiration.

Now with this transgender shit going on, he is going to influence so many out-of-touch tumblr "gamers" who dont know shit about games and only participate in the scene for attention-whoring. It is strange and coincidental that Cosmos transformation happened at the same time Twitch creative became a thing, which will influence people to not play games but to do anything they want. They may say that creative is only limited to art, but we will see how long that lasts.

The actual gamers who just want to run games are going to shrink from the majority to the minority, and their chats will be overflowed with narcissistic idiots with their unique pronouns. The idiots will use political correctness to their advantage in order to shut out anyone who doesnt agree with their opinions.

Its been a long day and I havent had time to organize my thoughts, but I just wanted to get that rant out. I feel that we are heading into some dark times. We thought it was bad now, but cosmo of all people was the nail in the coffin for the gaming scene.
