Dungeons if you're not leveling a DPS job.
Podcasts and audiobooks if I'm grinding FATEs. The big FATE grinding areas all have PF groups up at reasonable times in non-dead servers.
Leveling alts takes significantly less effort because of the experience bonus you get for playing a class that's lower level than your highest.
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, is to only level alt jobs you actually give a shit about, and to not rush it so you don't get burned out.

I apparently cant get Monks down, if its an AoE I need to get out of to fuck with my rotation, its an ADD tank/casting enemy targeting someone else that fucks up my positional damage. Here is what I do as a monk:

Dragon Kick>Twin Snakes>Demolish>Bootshine>Truestrike>Snap Punch>BS>TS>SP and repeat. I tend to pop Blood for Blood after Demolish, and Internal Release after Bootshine

Is my rotation fucked up, or should I just say fuck it and consider Ninja or Dragoon?

Leviathan didn't come until 2.2 when T5 was unlocked. 2.1 had i90 weapons that came from Primal Focus, but they bumped Gordian weapons up to i95 so they'd still have an advantage.

There's a very real possibility that they'd do that again, and make Gordian weapons i215 in 3.1 so that they'll still be desirable even when i210 weapons are commonplace. But I think the Thordan weapons will still not be higher than i205. They're probably reluctant to even do that and wanted to make them i200, but pretty much everything about this patch is about shoveling gear at people to help mitigate some of the damage that Savage Alexander did to the level of interest in raiding.

Yes, Off-Tank Paladins will now last slightly longer (and by slightly I mean "maybe 30 seconds longer or so) before running dry on TP, and Main-Tank Paladins will actually run out of TP faster than they did before.

do you know the pain of having anything that requires a server side check taking most of a second? having to wait for your form to change while on a monk, activating berserk taking a full gcd, bloodletter basically being on the gcd, benediction and hallowed taking 2+ seconds to activate, heals constantly late on targets due to ping + animation delay. having to constantly be moving for any aoe phase where markers are on a 1s timer for damage, needing to make your own macro timers to let you know when pancakes are coming on titan so you can move before they appear, aoe markers in general appearing for less than they do for others, being almost unable to pick up adds before people have a full gcd of damage more than you on them.

it's a special kind of suffering I would only wish on the most degenerate of players.

in another game I played there was this alternate tank strat for a boss where instead of swaps one tank would use speed boosts to kite one of the bosses and negate the stack mechanic, but most groups tried it once, realised it wasnt worth the effort or risk since even one fuckup and it was a wipe, and it literally required one tank to be god tier amazing. no-one cleared with it, and the only reason it still exists in common knowledge is people used it to carry dead weight tanks in that fight when they were doing it 5 levels above tier.

saying that because you did a special snowflake thing, doesn't mean it was correct or the norm. it's even worse if you act as though you were better just because your own ego is getting in the way.
