Carmelita is from a series that has only anthromorphic characters, thus the fans of the series are probably not going to have any hatred of anthromorphic characters as a rule. I've actually never played any FF game, but it looks like Freya is a singular anthromorphic character surrounded by a crowd of human characters. It also helps Carmelita was introduced in the very begining of the series, so she doesn't receive hate like Krystal does for being a new arrival.

I'd say because specifically with her they really downplay the fox, and up play the human. Everyone else is very cartoony (Sly doesn't wear fucking pants). But she has a full set of tits and wears tight pants and boots, so at least on first glance, you don't presume she's got them animal feet. Also her snout in the original 3 was very short, and she looked as human as she did fox.

What's there to talk about?
The platforming sucks because circle button moves automate most of the platforming.
The stealth sucks because it's really easy to swooce into position and backstab guards or abuse sightlines.
The combat sucks because, well, all you do is whack dudes with your massive hitboxes. It's the world's least interesting beat'em'up.
The minigames suck because duh if these guys can't make the core mechanics good, why would these one-off segments be any better designed or polished?

God bless them for making it into a TV series, the voice acting was one of the few strong points the series had.

Sony has a lot of dead franchises that people wants back and yet they decided to bring back Knack

They have Ape Escape, MediEvil, Sly Cooper, Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Tomba!, Wild Arms, The Legend of Dragoon, etc.

Yet they waste resources on Knack 2.
