"Every Frame a Painting" is my absolute favorite, but he doesn't seem to make videos anymore.

"Lessons From the Screenplay" would be my second choice.

"The Royal Ocean Film Society" despite its fancy name is a tiny channel, but I like it none the less.

"Channel Criswell" does essays on a bunch of different media, would really recommend.

"Rossatron" is another small channel that only covers action movies, not the most in-depth analysis of themes or plot, but he definitely knows how a good action scene should be constructed.

And then there's "Nerdwriter1" who's success everyone basically tries to copy it seems. I really like his videos as well.

The best gaming YouTubers are the guys that focus on their specific games/niche. For example Quin who does Monk videos for Diablo 3 or Azmongold who does WoW stuff. You get to see these people play, how they do stuff, why they do it, and get commentary that matters from it.
