Overwatch on PS4 is my most recent favorite western game. How did Blizzard do it? I also enjoyed Diablo 3 from them. Blizzard is pretty good and I usually play Japanese games.

The original campaign is rather generic and mediocre, but has its moments. I'd recommend it since there are very few decent turn-based D&D games.

Mask of the Betrayer is excellent in its structure, plot, and unique mechanics. It starts with high-level characters, however, so you might import your character from NWN2 or you might be overwhelmed if you are not into 3.5Ed.

Storm of Zehir has some great ideas. It is a rough ride and has its annoyances, but even fewer games tried to do what SoZ attempted to.

I'd rate them 6/10, 9/10, and 7.5/10, respectively.

Personally played it until I got into a quest with that Azure dude. Game decided to bug out and since it's a main quest, I got stuck. Last hard save was 10 hours ago, I mostly relied on quicksaves since the game was fairly engaging for such distractions. Spells felt rather broken at that point when you can just spam chainlightning again and again and the whole room would be cleared. Nevertheless, it's an RPG through and through, as in ROLE playing game. Some quests do branch out into different things and different methods. If you are into that, go play it, you may like it. Be wary of the bugs though.

How familiar are you with CRPGs? The original campaign is pretty average but the expansion (Mask of the Betrayer) is highly regarded as one of the best in the genre.

It's probably not the best pace to start with the genre, something like Dragon Age: Origins or Pillars of Eternity would probably be a better entry point as they are mechanically simpler instead of using a modified DnD ruleset.

Just look at platforms like twitch - hugely popular.

It's not low IQ. Their CNS probably isn't trained well enough to have the hand-eye co-ordination or eye discipline for many video-games.
Sometimes it is just better to watch someone who is good at a game play rather than having to train yourself to git gud.
It's no different to webM threads. They always max the post limit but you get mostly the same webMs leading me to think a large proportion of /v/ don't actually play videogames, and if they do they will have at max 1-3 videogames that they play.
