Is it just a meme to hate this game? I don't understand what it is all about.
People claim it's the worst in the series, do you remember Mass Effect 3?
Andromeda has the best combat and gameplay in all three mass effects. Seriously, don't tell me that you enjoy that ragdoll without any impact fighting from the previous games. In Andromeda, you can fight vertically, horizontally and with a variety of class mixes.
It has the best premise since ME1. Traveling to a new galaxy has unlimited potential. ME1 was the first to introduce a new world, since then we were stuck on an annoying quest of "the reapers are coming! the reapers are coming" which never amounted to anything.
The characters are better. I know I am going to receive some criticism for this one but if you are honestly telling me that kaidan and jacob have more personality than Liam or Drack then you are just drinking the hate meme more than anyone.
Dialogue has been improved to allow you to actually give character. In the past games you could only be 3 characters, an angel, a neutral or an evil dick. Now you can approach certain topics logically, but maybe when it comes to family you are emotional
And lastly, the facial animations have been fixed. But even so, who cares? Did you buy Mass Effect for facial animations? What about Fallout? How many historical games have poor animations and are great?
It's a shame that people just love to buy up hype trains rather than truly analyze the great game in front of them, and its a shame that their opinions caused hard working new branch with brilliant ideas to go down.

Consoles are an archaic concept. They made sense in the 80s and 90s but PCs now have an advantage over them in every single way. It's like how people still used VHS for years after DVDs were out - they're a relic that are only still popular because people are familiar with them.

Friendly reminder that if you're using a 1080p monitor with HDMI, go into the Nvidia control panel and turn Dynamic Range from "Limited" to "Full." The reason for this is because if you're using an HDMI cable GPU drivers assume you're on a TV so they gimp the shading and brightness settings.
Bonus: If using an expensive monitor check your color depth, it might be stuck on 8bpc when you can go 10bpc.

I actually had it on full range but after something happened, it was back to limited as well. There's this issue that it will work in conjuction with your monitor as well because the screen usually scales the limited scale back to full range when displaying the image on screen (limited is something like 16 to 235 and full is from 0 to 255 for example). However there has been something sketchy about this all. Sometimes the gamma was lifted and sometimes it wasn't. I originally kept it on 'limited' because I have Wii U on second input and I hate to adjust the monitor setting all the time when switching inputs.
But now keeping it on 'full' seems to work. I ditched Wii U permanently.
