Should have never made this lobby split. Just give us one server browser that tells us what mode each room is and maybe a filter if we don't want certain modes. Making 5 lobbies for 5 gamemodes makes it a pain in the ass to find just a casual game to join.

Playing it now and I have an overwhelming feeling that this game was made by people who don't usually play videogames. I won't rant about garbage writing, bugs or shitty animations, there were plenty of threads about it. Instead I want to talk about gameplay and some of the "features" in particular:
>hold E to interact instead of just pressing
>if you press and don't hold, you have to wait another second for animation to reset to start again
>you can sprint from scanner mode, but to activate scaner while sprinting you MUST STOP and wait for all animations to reset, then press G
>UI is a mess of folders, sub-folders and numerous tabs that are pain to navigate
>open current quest in journal by pressing J, but to exit it you have to press ESC 4-6 times exiting one sub-folder at a time
>console-esque "realistic" movement with input lag, animation resets and momentum, which makes walking uncomfortable
>to the point where mashing A and D (strafe left and right, yeah?) makes your character RUN FORWARD for whatever the fuck reason
Now the combat that was praised as dynamic and best in series. It's not dynamic and not fluid at all. Yeah, dash and jetpack are fun to use in vacuum, in real life both have animation resets and you can't make combos with melee\abilities or plain shooting. Melee is so bad it's painful to use: no weight to the punch, shitty animation, no target fixation, animation reset (meaning you have to wait full stop before shooting\using abilities) but it deals like a bajillion damage. Weapons feel weird Avenger AR fire effects looks like 100% projectile weapon, but it's a hitscan and shot trails don't match with hitbox reg. Enemies are damage sponges while you die in 3 seconds while not in cover. Automatic cover selection works like shit, manual enter\leave cover would've been much better. Profile system renders party selection obsolete, why the fuck would you bother with balanced team comp when you can do everything yourself?

where, exactly, does this fast-paced rpg need to go faster? I hope during limit breaks cause thats the only long animation unless u count the 5sec spells u cast late in the game. On ps3 u can skip the limit break animations by pressing X.
