For some reason I immediately figured that when it was first announced here. Was hilarious when it turned out to be yaoi too though.

I recently watched Murder Princess, and it got me thinking about something.
Now, I'm sure the manga/novel/whatever that it was based on isn't yuri at all. But the small section that was made into the short anime had enough interaction between the two main girls that I could use my goggles on it. But regardless of that, it made me want something specific.
If you don't know, in Murder Princess a princess and a female bandit leader magically switch bodies and they don't know how to change back. The bandit in the princess's body pretends to be the princess, and the princess in the bandit's body pretends to be her maid/servant. As I said, it's not yuri, but they did learn to trust each other and they became sort of close friends in a way. And it had me thinking how great it would be if it was yuri.
Imagine two girls who end up body swapping with no way to change back (currently). They end up becoming closer and then fall in love. But the conflict/drama would come from them being uncomfortable being in love with someone who now looks the way they used to. Kissing/physical affection would be awkward because each one would feel like they are doing it to themselves. Plus you have the whole thing where they realize they are in the body of the person they love, so that part would be embarrassing for them when being alone/naked/etc.

Is there anything similar to that already? I know Swap Swap has body swapping. But it's played for laughs, and they change back whenever they want. I just think it would make for an interesting story.

The rest of the characters are caught up in muddier love polygons, so it's less sure who will end up with whom. And that is fine too.
