There are some other ships that have something more going on in canon than nothing namely the kind of: these characters had some kind of relations to each other before, which is not much but more than "they look good together", but they are all yaoi ships or het ships.
But yeah, WidowTracer is the only ship that canon supports with things like them actively flirting with each other and having that weird sexual tension in the air.

I actually find some of the faces she makes in the first trailer the cutest. Like that part at the end where she salutes the little boy she is the adorablest ever.
Then again in Alive the sheer desperation in her face when she straddles Widow is absolutely beautifully done as well.

But I'm thinking you should save that for a different scene or another chapter and have her sing "Fly Me to the Moon" in the scene from this chapter. With her preparing dinner and all, I imagine the mood to be "soft", comfy, somewhat romantic even with Angela walking in on her etc. so I think it would work better with the lyrics and rhythm of "Fly Me to the Moon".

I can't reall help you with proof-reading since I'm not a native speaker but I have to say this reads better than the first chapter, somehow! Like, it flows more naturally. It definitely feels like a slow building fic though, is it still gonna be a bunch of shorts? You could easily make it into a one continuous story...

IMO, they've meddled way too much with Widowmaker's visage in the second short. In some part she looks like she has severe case of ayylmao face. Adjusting her eyes to be bigger and nose to be overly perky as well as narrowing her lips was a mistake. They make her look like a mouth breather. She looked 10/10 in the first trailer.

Mercy is the generic go-to ship for everyone because she's the medic, whether it makes sense or not.

D.va has no known relationships with anyone else revealed so far besides enjoying Lucio's music, so she's a blank slate and probably the most popular character drawn out of the korean fan artists (no surprise there).

Aside from that the ship appeals to people who enjoy age play. Hope this helped.
