Egyptians currently are majority Islamic and speak Arabic. Ancient Egyptian language and religion got phased out when they became merged/invaded.

Amelia is not Widowmaker. Widowmaker is a badass cold-blooded assassin. Amelia is some Overwatch agent's trophy wife. It would be unnatural as fuck that Amelia would be able to do all the crap Widowmaker can do at the drop of a hat before she became Widowmaker. Eh, you could always use the "skins aren't canon" approach to explain that away. The Origins skins show what the old team used to look like, and the human Genji skins are similar. Young Hanzo is technically inaccurate because he used to wield a sword. You could have an "Amelie" Widowmaker skin without much trouble.
