There are no limits (except the story must be at least 1 word long, and preferably not in excess of 10,000, it's short fiction you fuck).

Would /who/ want to do a rewatch of NuWho leading up to Capaldi's final episode? If we start on August 4th we'd be able to watch an episode a day starting with Rose and finishing with this years Christmas Special. If we just wanted to skip ahead to Moffat-era we could start on October 3rd, but that's a while away and I don't really see the point in skipping RTD's run.

It'd give us a reason to keep /who/ as a general in the off-season and give us something to do while we wait for Christmas. Plus it'd be comfy to have "live threads" for older episodes from before /who/'s formation.

I suppose gamergate and the Fappening were the start of all of it since that started getting 4chan mentioned more and more and people came here because of that, but once people on this site started really getting into supporting Trump it really went downhill. /pol/ supporting him is fine, it's a politics board so it makes sense. But everything has turned political here. Even in the finale live-thread when the Doctor was listening inevitable things like smartphones and mentioned Donald Trump, the thread derailed so fucking fast even though he literally just said his name and nothing more.

I've always said this about people on tumblr who always got offended at meaningless shit and it sucks that it applies to here too now, but I don't understand why people give any piece of mind to things that offend them. There are threads every day here about Colbert and they're all trashing him. If you don't like him, why do you waste your time thinking about him? I don't think his show is great so I don't watch it. It's easy. When I made a conscious decision to avoid looking at tumblr/SJW shit a few years ago, I genuinely started feeling happier and I realized that those insane feminists or outspoken BLM protesters just seemed like they were more powerful than they are since I was reading about them so much, when in reality they're just an outspoken minority.

I'm a bit on the fence when it comes to the Tenth Doctor. We got a lot of quintessential moments that defined not just 10, but The Doctor as a whole. His lighthearted comedic side, his brooding moments,the Fury of a Time Lord we saw at the end of Family of Blood, the vengeful god unleashed in The Waters of Mars, his reunion with Sarah Jane in School Reunion, the way he silently entered the TARDIS, alone and soaked from the rain at the end of Journey's End, and pretty much any moment he had with Wilf are all amazing examples of who The Doctor is.

But then again, he also felt like the Doctor for teenage girls, and was too emotional at times. His regeneration scene was embarrassing and left him on a sour note, but I think as a whole the 10th Doctor isn't anywhere as bad as people here make him out to be. Same with Matt Smith.

It's easy to focus on the awful moments, and even easier when Eccelston and Capaldi avoided having any, but god damn are the good moments good. The scene where The Doctor opens the TARDIS doors with a snap is far and above the single best moment of the RTD-era. It's not a grand speech, it's not an epic twist, it's just a guy opening a door with a snap. But fuck me if it isn't emotional.
