I've never ordered from Robot Kingdom before, but from what I read, they're a pretty reputable company. I checked to see if the money had left my account, and sure enough, both Paypal and my bank show that Robot Kingdom recieved their money.

Except I own a ton of Takara's recent headmasters. The paint on the face is fine on all of them and I transform them all the time. Even Brawn, who has a completely painted face and it seems completely unprotected, but it's fine.

Silver sharpie, actually. Easy to do, and if it smudges or anything, easy to fix. I could do silver paint if I wanted to buy some modelling paint, but model paint chips very easily so I'd have to seal shit afterwards and thats a bit too much effort for something I can solve in like 2mins with a marker. It's not like these are high end super special figures or anything, I'm not too invested in doing everything 100% perfect on them, and it looks good as is.

Normal sharpies aren't allowed anywhere near my figures, but metallic ink sharpies are actually a very different creature than normal sharpies. They don't sublimate into plastic and can be removed with some goo-gone and a q-tip. Paint has its uses, but metallic sharpies are good for a lot of small touchup applications, and actually match the silver on many tfs perfectly.

I honestly wish that Barricade doesn't end up as an Autobot, but instead a good guy Decepticon. I did like his IDW interpretation and I love that he's come this far as that one fan favorite from the 2007 movie.

I noticed for all the flak it took over the design, Ironhide looked really nicely-made compared to the earlier MPs. Compared to stuff you'd get from Bandai in a similar price bracket I always thought Takara's stuff was coasting by on the Transformers name. Out of all the MPs I used to own G2 Sideswipe was by far the best-made, in fact the only one I regret selling. Lambor and Tigertracks both had spotty paint finishes and didn't line up well in vehicle mode (despite both being authentic and not KOs). Tigertrack even came with a misassembled shoulder I had to take apart and fix. Alert wasn't too bad, but some of the tampography was a little fuzzy.

Like, it wasn't good in the original animated movie and it's still just cheap shock value that's always telegraphed terribly anyway.
