It depends on what is legally allowed in ones respective country. Canada has its maximum height rules, America has regulations regarding weight per display arm attachment, UK and Germany both have scale laws that are pretty harsh, etc.

Some Ross stores have a wall of toys and some just have them in aisles. Both usually have a small section of pegs that are good to go through, but I've not ever seen these places in a prominent spot, mostly because the toy section of Ross is a war zone. If there are kids, just be careful to avoid stepping on them and go about your business like an adult (who is buying toys). Don't be creepy or loiter.

Eh he was alright. I got my set for like $20 so it was worth it. I really like the head sculpt on Spidey and I like that they went with concave webbing on the suit. I always prefer that to raised webbing. Other than that the figure is pretty meh. Not sure why they went with the super dark red, it looks not great.

Yea, if something is all new tooling it has BAF potential. BAFs will be repaints/retools of other BAFs or things that require a unique mold. Kinda sucks.

I saw it a few times at Walmart over the last month.

If you can find them, the Spiderman legends wave with Jack o Lantern and Venom are $4.97 each at GameStop. They also have the wave of Marvel figures that are 3.75 inches (I forgot the name) that had the Blue and gray Beasts in it for $2.97

They have other waves too and the highest price I saw so far for any of them was $10, the GameStop app lets you use the store locater too.

It's pretty faithful to the comics design, so the colors shouldn't bother you so much. As a figure, she's alright. If you like a figure that can get into a lot of poses, has bits with dynamic flair, and is solidly built, you should like it. (The design is too busy for me, so I'm hoping to eventually score Sif from the A-Force set, which is on the same mold)

I'm not attached to the character, but she's definitely a good toy. She's got a lot of heft to her, her joints are solid and have pretty good range, and her paint is basically flawless. I had the same problems with the colorscheme at first, but the purple is very dark in-hand and I hardly notice it now.

I'll probably put her with my mythic legions once those come in, she can definitely pass for that 80's fantasy barbarian look.

How's the UDON Taskmaster from the Onslaughtskull wave? I like the design but the actual figure looks a bit off in proportions and costume.

He's really nice, but floppy as a motherfucker. Week knees, loose hips and torso, and he's got that thing a lot of buckycap figures have where the actual piece the hips are mounted on is floppy. He can be a real pain in the ass to get standing.

The Walmart near me randomly has like 30 Marvel Legends figures, stuff like Ms Marvel, black suit Spider Man, Nova, Machine Man, Angela, Hellcat, Enchantress, Iron Man from the Groot wave, Cottonmouth, Iron Fist, Jackal and Sentry. They also had the Spiderman in the Sandman wave that isn't the black one or white one, I forgot the name.

I didn't know what to get because I was overwhelmed and no one was like ultra rare, so I got Green Goblin. Anyone recommend any of the others I named?

its a Doomguy Custom I'm doing. my first custom too. Cable body and hands with Nuke head and arms. using shoulder pads from the Odin BaF. have to repaint the head because I fucked up and some of my paints were enamels instead of acrylics. its pretty much half done. gonna do one more thin layer of a lighter green for the torso and legs. might sculpt some cuffs for the gloves before I paint them. biggest hurdle is going to be trying to make a helmeted head.

I was going to do some weathering after I finish painting and I was going to try sculpt a helmet onto another head. I have an idea to use some plastic for the visor so you can see his face but I'm not sure if my sculpting skills can pull that off right now.

If I had to guess, I'd say they're waiting for a spider-man wave that he'll fit into, but is also mostly hits so there won't be too many shelfwarmers. He's probably in my top 5 most wanted as of yet unseen legends, but I have no illusions that he'll fly off the pegs.

Why do you say that? As it stands the recent large Legends BAFs have had single joint knees and elbows. If you compare one of the modern BAFs to, say, Hulkbuster which is pretty big, the BAFs actually lose in articulation. Same with Destroyer. A Select Gladiator Hulk would be magnitudes better than anything Hasbro could make in every way.

Fucking Sweden. The big toy store chain here tries to sell Legends at $48 a pop and I don't think they ever fucking sell. They still have the Avengers wave with king thor BAF, the Ant-Man wave and sometimes even the first Spider-Man wave hanging around. I finally found a Black Cat and Scarlet Witch that had been discounted down to manageable levels but some of the stores STILL have a peg full of them at $48.

It's fucking idiocy. Transformers prices here are the same. The rumor I read is that the toy store chain has been fucking with Hasbro for years because of bad relations and tries to make a huge profit off their "Popular" toys by marking them up. But I think that just makes people order them from the UK or something. Sure you pay maybe $20 for a legends from there, but that's less than half the store price.

Sometimes it really does feel like the female bodies are done by entirely different people. Other lines have nailed slender double elbows just fine, and even stuff like the chest joints feel gimped. I sprayed pledge in my kid Nova's torso crunch because it was loose and I didn't know by using pledge you guys meant the floor cleaner and the spray got gross and I had to use water and eventually it just looked and felt weird

So I got a different one from the store and immediately its head was loose. I popped it off and found out the neck piece itself was so loose and flopping around

Now the first one I had is okay looking, but is slightly loose in the center and the second one has a looseass head but tight everything else. Not sure what to keep lol
