Not exactly. My Kamala is perfectly fine but my goblin's left hand tends to just fall out of the socket (I can easily get something in there to add friction and keep it tight). Marvel legends are often hit or miss on even the same figure. Most of the time they are fine in my experience. The worst thing I think is just the eye paint on the normal faces.

Spidey 2099, Black suit spidey, Jackal and Green Goblin are great. Sandman is really awesome with his damaged head and alternate hand parts. Honestly the whole wave is pretty great and I'd recommend getting it along the way if you can.

I'm not sure if they still have the sale going, but target recently had a spiderman legends wave sale for 12.29 for them. I was able to grab the entire sandman wave for about 80 bucks. Check brickseek and see if your targets have a decently high number of spidey legends. They all share the dpci but the store I went to said they had 25 figures. Saw black suit spidey on the pegs and the guy brought the rest out of the back for me. DPCI: 087-06-2568

I just hate the shoulders on say, the black Spiderman from this wave. I've never seen this one, but the black ones shoulders make me mad how they loosen up in terms of the whole socket moving towards the front and backwards, but I can't get the actual arm to move in any direction.

Are they all like that in that wave? Basically, the socket the arm goes into moves around loosely but the actual arm doesn't, the exact opposite of what I want to happen

From what I've seen of the other two Spider-Men they do not have this issue. I have Sunfire who I think uses the same body as the new 2099 and the shoulder have no issues what soever.

It's the Astonishing suit but with some pretty minor variations in design, like the lack of yellow bars on his gloves, and the boots being grey instead of blue.

So it's a little off from being 100% accurate, but definitely more than a "vague recollection" of his suit. And considering all the Amazing Yamaguchi figures so far have been more or less Yamaguchi's take on the character with some of his own touches, that's hardly something to really complain about.

DCC already makes everything that isn't made into an Icons.
Diamond's output is a joke compared to the amount of stuff DCC makes and DCC is more up to date than what Diamond Select stuff is anyway.

What Diamond needs to do is imitate when DCC does, by making toys based on the comic designs. MLs are already a genericized version of Marvel characters so it makes the Marvel selects redundant.

It's because Marvel Toys (aka ToyBiz) used to do the designing & developing, letting Diamond exclusively distribute them via the Direct Market. 1)I only have the 2nd release Toddy Mac Angela, which is silver, rather than the 1st release, which is gold like the ML and i don't want to paint it
2)The spear shaft (huh huh he said "shaft") is like the biggest end of a baseball bat to have enough room for the spring loaded gimmick.
3)The spear is probably behind my bookcase :-(

He is a variation on one of the top 10 most popular super heroes, in the wake of a live action movie that took inspiration from that version.

Even toys WITH parts linger around. They tend to sell eventually cause it means cheap BAF piece. This guy has no BAF piece, he has no hope. You can't compare them. Hasbro fucked up, just watch. Unless this wave is limited release and not going to every major retailer.

Spot would be cool, especially if they actually put any effort into giving him accessories. Just take the Iron Fist version of the Pizza Spidey mold, with removable arms, give him a few flat plastic "holes" a few which you can put on a surface and attach the removed arm to, the other can attach to the rest of his arm
