So, how's Generation Toy notJazz?
Alt mode is fantastic. Maybe one of the best car modes I've ever seen. Robot mode is adequate.
>When u have more money than sense
>>6034879
What an ugly fuckin' thing.
>>6034883
I don't deny that he's ugly. He's a scrapyard monstrosity plane monster more than he is a transformer.
I still like him though. There's something alien and spooky about him. My favorite bayformer design.
>>6034879
>bayformer
>doesn't transform
If you really liked the character you should have tracked down the leader class.
>>6034897
I considered it. He looks good too but not quite at this level. There's so much detail and busy shit going on with these designs that I don't mind losing the transforming element.
>>6034877
Reviews have been positive across the board. I was going to pick him up til MT unveiled their Jazz.
>>6034897
>Seriously comparing a $400 figure to a $40 Wal-mart toy.
>>6034879
>more money than sense
>>6034907
Wasn't comparing them. Simply stating he could have gotten a cheaper alternative that is a good rep of the character.
>>6034905
I know. I like him though. I'll post pics here so you can laugh at my stupidity. I always thought the dorito man was cool looking.
>>6034897
>I still don't understand that some people like the robot designs alone
>>6035009
This is nothing compared to the chimpout the official thread had over that figure. Sweet jesus.
>>6035012
>chimpout
Dedicated shitposters shitposting about something aren't a chimpout man. If it wasn't that, they'd have just shitposted about something else.
>>6034904
I really wish we would move on from the oval shaped MP hands.
I like the FT/TW fully articulated hands.
All hinges except the thumbs. Look square looking but are way more versatile and good looking compared to the trigger finger + joined everything else on Tak and MT products.
>>6035020
Larger scale figs like that Galvatron and up I'm fine with having articulated hands. With Car bots I prefer the hinged knuckle approach.
>>6035027
For smaller figures I wouldn't mind a SoC setup, but I prefer articulated hands either way.
I've never bought a 3rd party figure before, but I've been eyeing Striker Manus. Is he worth the $79.99 on tfsource? Also would anyone recommend I buy him now or wait for Friday or Monday?
Its been a while since I've had this must interest in a 3P combiner or even it's individual members
>>6035088
Just for fun I'd suggest waiting. I doubt they'll run out if stock by then, and there's a chance of a discount.
>>6035091
Holy shit Deathclaw is massive.
>>6035154
>that pic
I lost it, then got a little hungry.
>>6035154
Is there a timeline for when the rest of them will be available?
>>6035154
That's beautiful, anon.
>>6035154
>Two maroon and sea green bots
>Two grey and sea green bots
>One bubblegum pink and sky blue bot
>The same combiner team
>>6035243
Well, yeah. They were made in the 80's dude. They've got a very 80's color scheme.
>>6035243
Close enough color palette, but if this bothers you then you must have had a total brain aneurysm from G1 Abominus, Menasor, Computron, Monstructor, Lio Kaiser, Road Ceasar, all the micro six-combiners, etc.
G2 color schemes should be putting you in your grave
>>6035263
I hate most combiners, yes.
>>6035270
>I am retarded
Fix'ed it for you.
>>6035401
Just don't like the strobe light color pallet senpai.
>>6035403
I don't know if I should be jealous or pitying you for doing one of the worst mistakes you can do as a collector.
But hey it's your money.
>>6035409
Is it a mistake if I like it though?
>>6035411
I guess you can say technically it's not a mistake since it's your money and your taste but that also means the moment you suddenly get a buyers remorse, you can't really spam the thread with your bitching or I and probably a lot of other anons will call you out because we already tried to tell you to think really hard before buying it rather than spending $500 USD. Even when I watched Vangelus' shilling review on it, I was still not sold on it.
>>6035403
Yes, we get it. You can shut up now.
>>6035414
That's completely fair. I'm impressed enough at 3A's work and previous toys to throw dosh at a (poseable) design I really like even though I don't own a single action figure.
When I do shit up the thread with images I'll try to be as honest as possible about it.
>>6035417
I'm sorry. I really am. I'm just excited about toys.
I'll namefag if you want me too so you can filter me.
>>6035427
The thing is, if you bought the 3A's other stuff like the Gundams and Metal Gears, I wouldn't say shit but not really for a Transformer. Then again I was never a fan of Action Masters so I guess there's that as well.
>>6035435
I'm really not a fan of action masters either. A big part of the Transformers experience to me is the ability to transform as part of the play pattern.
But I understand the reality of engineering a transforming bayformer while retaining the gorillian moving parts design aesthetic is mostly impossible.
I get why people hate this thing. It's a weird overly-busy design from a shit movie series that looks absolutely nothing like the character it shares it's name with.
But I like it, and y'all get to enjoy a fool having his dollar parted from him, so that's something at least.
>>6035427
I could understand spending nearly $500 Freedomerica Eagledollars on something you really like.
But man.
Why a Bayformer?
It's just so fucking ugly. Hideously ugly. And to top it off, Starscream looks like a big lump of metal shards fused into a goddamn metal Dorito.
I understand you probably like it, but it's just one of the weirdest things to buy, in my eyes.
>>6035448
It is ugly, that's part of it's appeal. It's monstrous and menacing looking. It's also gorgeously painted and tremendous by all measurable dimensions.
It's more of a Scrapyard Kaiju than a Transformer, sure, but that's what I like about it. To me it's bad ass.
I hate the movies, and it's not like the bayformer starscream had any character to get attached to, but something about the dorito design always stuck out to me.
>>6035460
Well, as long as you like it, thats all that matters.
>>6034879
More money than taste. Also this is the 3rd party general
>>6035472
Made by a third party. Officially licenced.
>>6035154
silly chingchongs you can't eat a transformer.
Is there an oversized version of the main torso guy?
Looking for a brother for my rovot former mp ironhide, since pp05 is fucking expensive and small, i was thinking of making someone similar into his brother, anyone have any better suggestions than i have come up with?
>>6035561
...pic won't attach, toyworld sideload is who i was asking about, i know the rest have oversized versions, but the main torso, i have never seen oversized.
>>6035249
I fucking love the Seacons' colours. They're just so loud and stupid and beautiful. They're actually the only G1 combiner team I own thanks to a helpful Canadian who sold the reissue + some of the CrazyDevy upgrades to me for about £40.
Thinking of buying Planet-X's Asclepius, but no idea what kind of scale he's in.
>>6035807
About a Voyager. He looks pretty good but be warned that the legs fall apart a bit easily (easily fixed with glue though) and the instructions suck.
>>6035808
>legs fall apart a bit easily
Can you elaborate? What comes undone? Loose tabs?
I was thinking of getting it during black friday, but seems to be pointless as no sites are putting it up for sale.
>>6035815
Some hinges aren't plugged in properly and come out kinda easily. Watch Bobo Skellingtonface's review for more information.
>>6035472
Still better than those piles of cardboxes from G1
>>6035518
Jesus that one on the right has a face like a bulldog.
And when is the full set of the NotSeacons supposed to be out anyway?

Spoiler: He doesn't like it.
Iron Factory Scorponok continues to blow me away, and I haven't even shipped mine yet.
unofficial jet mode
>>6035981
I was on the fence for this guy but this tips me over to buy zone
not to mention a goddamn elephant
>>6035981
>Full three original modes
>Headmaster
>Jet mode that actually looks really cool and reminiscent of Energon Scorponok
Sweet jesus, that thing gets more awesome the more I hear of it.
>>6035981
holy fuck that looks good. is this chibi size like their other stuff?
>Nero Rex finally on sale at TFsource
>Still more expensive than BBTS with shipping
FUCK
>>6035998
>Too obvious
The truth? Yeah it is obvious, but we know geewunners are in eternal denial.
>>6036083
Why Nero Rex?
>>6036091
Matching color scheme.
Quantron any good? He's on sale at BBTS. Was considering picking him up or omega supreme (planet x) instead.
>>6036118
lol no, don't even bother
just get omega sperg
>>6036119
good shit anon
Thanks
>>6036121
np, Quantron is hot trash IMO. Genesis is really good and scales well with combiners like MT Green Giant and the Combiner Wars scale in general.
>>6036118
I'd like to offer a dissenting opinion. I like Quantron quite a bit actually, though I'd say the individual bots are "stronger" than the combined form imo.
>>6036118
Ospreem from PX is a little hard to manipulate due to joint strength but he's great desu.
>>6036085
Try harder
>>6036128
Thanks
I'll probably end up picking him since the reissue is coming through and he's fucking glorious.
Quantron was just an afterthought because of the price.
>>6036223
Something about news of MP-36 coming out?
>>6035976
Wait, how does his back thing come off?
Hey /3P/ dudes, gotta question.
I'm not into TF these days but the whole 3rd Party thing has me curious. How exactly do companies get away with 'Not(insert copyrighted TF character)' when likeness and even paintjobs are virtually the same? How exactly do they get away with it without copyright infringement/IP theft?
>>6036279
One word: China.
They're all based in China. Which has virtually no protection for copyrighted anything and anyone even trying to prosecute them will accomplish nothing other than wasting a shitton of money on a legal process that will end in the company shutting it's doors and opening up tomorrow under a new name and doing the same shit.
Also if any 3P things interest you, feel free to ask, and always watch reviews on shit. Some of it is top notch A+ super awesome stuff, and some of it is so astoundingly fucking terrible you wouldn't touch with a 10ft pole.
When does Iron Factory usually announce new stuff, TFCon Canada or Chicago or some other event?
I need new things from them.
>>6036283
It's not just that they are being made in China, Hasbro and Takara don't care.
If they did they would atleast attempt to shut down some of these third party companies down.
Yo niggas black friday is almost on us. If you see some good deals drop that shit here.
>>6031780
If you're still shopping around for it Captured Prey will have Pandinus for $325 at midnight. Might be worth checking the usual places to see if anyone else has it lower.
>>6036279
>>6036426
It's mostly trademark law that third parties need to duck and cover for. That's mostly why they don't go the full 9 yards and use official names and faction symbols. Instead you get goofy names with raised sculpting or cut outs suspiciously the same size as faction stickers. In China its hard to to prove copyright and likeness with a figure with original tooling. As far as the law is concerned it's just another blue and white robot that transforms into a truck called City Commander, not Ultra Magnus.
Hasbro and Takara do go after KO companies, but usually they threaten retailers with not selling them official stock if they also sell KOs of their products. Interestingly enough, third party manufacturers will pull product from retailers if they start selling KOs of their work, like how MMC, FP, and Maketoys pulled out of Robot Kingdom as the guy who owns that also sells and owns companies that make KOs of their work.
>>6036295
There is another Asian toy show on the 26th so maybe you'll get some news there. They have an exclusive Nightbird remold of their arcee mold being sold there. They've already got a lot in the oven though.
>>6036283
What about Shapeways stores selling transformers mod parts, or in some cases full transformer kits?
Is Shapeways viewed purely as a hobbyist thing?
Does someone have a link for that shapeways addon for TR mindwipe which changes the bat head for a dinosaur one?
>>6036454
I know Hasbro has a deal with Shapeways allowing fan-made MLP stuff to be sold with permission, provided A)Hasbro gets a small cut and B) no porn stuff or anything Hasbro disapproves of.
They may have a similar deal for TFs... although "original mold weapon with a 5mm peg that happens to be compatible" or "hand that just so happens to fit this toy" aren't exactly things Hasbro has much ground to claim copyright on.
Hasbro's not done too much about 3P beyond Botcon banning, which only really served to piss people off. They have gone after MLP fan stuff that was either making "too much" money or was porn in nature. A certain furry porn artist got 2 fucking C&Ds from Hasbro for trying to sell pony smut, she's lucky she wasn't taken to court.
>implying a furry porn artist with no real job has enough money to warrant suing, Hasbro wouldn't get a dime even if they won
Although ost 3P TF stuff is from foreign countries where it's harder to touch, while the bronies are US-based and easy to squeeze.
PO are going up. Due first the quarter of next year.
>>6036219
Couldn't resist.

Some deals that are happening or are already live and other notes. Includes notable official stuff:
Action robo is live and has Iron Factory's dinobots for $60 which is incredible. Master Made Apollo for $80. MT Iron Will and Visualizers for $83. They're an asian seller so factor overseas shipping into it. They also have MP tracks and Roadrage for $15 but that's too fucking good to not be KOs.
The Captured Prey isn't live yet but will have $10 off MT Striker Manus and MT Citybots including Pandinus for $325. On Saturday MT Cupula is going down to $99
TFS Isn't live yet but the Ocular Max Backdraft is $70 in the daily deals.
The Chosen Prime's has a lot of things at a minor discount. Nothing I saw too notable but it might push you over the edge on a few things.
GCI Toys has confirmed MP Primal going down to $75, but hinted significant sales for MP ironhide and IF Lord Scorpion. Not live yet.
Amazon isn't live yet
BBTS isn't live yet nothing notable.
Toy Dojo isn't Live yet

>detailing where the faction sticker should go
Is there clear plastic over it or did they fuck up the most basic thing when you make a faction symbol cutout? Looks like a lot of clear plastic for detailing so I can't tell.
>>6036922
I like it. I also have a preference towards hard angles so OP:Brick House edition suits me well.
>>6036934
>GCI Toys has confirmed MP Primal going down to $75
OH FOR FUCKS SAKE!
>>6036963
What was wrong with him?
>>6036941
Shit, I've only had mine for a little more than a week. This is weird though, I thought they were basically a couple guys from TFW? Interesting strategy to take that much of a hit on something that's been out less than a month.
>>6036934
>Pandinus for $325
Fuck yes, thank you for telling me anon.
>>6036979
Primal is such a weird design I'm not surprised he's not flying off the shelf. He's also quite expensive for his size.
>>6036986
>the sudden realization the only thing-ONLY thing-that will sell in the MP line is G1
>>6036979
Lord Scorpion just came out and it's going on sale for at least $25 to $30 off so idk. Free shipping is $125 so I might go for a wombo combo.
>>6036986
They fucked up with the price for sure. Cheetor is what, $75 for preorder in the states? The light up eyes aren't worth a $50 price hike. They never had to pay licence fees for an alt mode either.
>>6036997
I know it won't ever happen but I wonder how Masterpiece Bayformers would do?
>>6036941
LOL I only paid $90 for my MP Primal. Then again the guy owned me money.

>>6036939

Sovereign or ToyWorld Ramjet?
>>6037022
Totally forgot these existed, but I feel like they should have used different characters to start off the line.

>>6037054
The reviews for the not Dirge are very promising. He's also like 40 bucks cheaper than Sovereign.
>>6037056
He's got fully articulated hands, is bigger, doesn't use a fake grill, and is made from autism pleasing delicious hard angles. That's enough to warrant a purchase from me. I don't have a single MP-10 or Optimus of any sort in my collection.

the problem with these is that they were just repainted hasbro leader molds, and had nothing "masterpiece" like about them other than screen accurate paint. They were the same $50 toy being sold for $120.
>>6036464
Thanks, guys. All of the explanations helped. Like I said, TF's aren't my thing but the 3P concept was indeed something I was interested in.

>>6037245
>Possibly the worst toy of the year down there with Takara coneheads

>Almost as much as striker manus
>>6037216
Best part is the 3P market is a healthy one. The only thing you really need to watch out for is bum products. Some are just made poorly, so always always check reviews, and never ever buy a combiner until every member of it is out and the whole thing is fully reviewed.

>>6037249
>striker manus is actually on sale for $70 at Captured Prey on Sunday
I've got a list of the deals that tick my boxes so far but I can only reasonably throw down about 300 didgeridoos. What do?
From what I saw:
>Master Made Apollo for $100
>Maketoys Iron Will for $100
>Maketoys Cupholder or whatever at $100
Or
>Buy the TFC's 3 released Seacons at a minor discount of $10 each at $315
The Seacons are new and shiny so I'm leaning towards them now that we know the torso is holds up great. I'm willing to break the combiner buying guidelines because of that. The other guys are about $30 off a piece and are high quality releases though I wish to see more Maketoys headmasters pull through and I have nothing to go with Apollo. I'm holding out for TFsource and Toy Dojo to pull through on some other items on my want list but I'm not getting my hopes up.
>>6037279
Doesn't TFC usually do combined packs for their combiners later on? You're probably better off waiting man.
>>6037282
Not really. They do fall in price later on if you buy though ebay but then you have to deal with the slanted-eye jew roulette.
>>6036934
Actionrobo? I've never heard of this site before but I'm in some serious need of a massively discounted Apollo. Is it a legit site? No scams, no KO versions replacing the regular types, good shipping, all that jazz?
>>6037268
Bosshi.
>>6037296
They're a reputable asian seller so prices are out the fucking ass for shipping. Still worth it for most of the stuff there though. It's $25 to ship Apollo to the states. It's cheaper to buy everything separately and ship it. Apollo + the IF dinobots is $80 to ship, where individually it was $25 and $20.
You're looking at $100, which is still $30 off but still not where you would want it.
>>6037305
Pretty much how I'm feeling right now. $75 for Apollo is sick, $100 not so much, especially since I was wanting to grab the upgrade kit which is another $50 (unless some site discounts it).
>>6037279
Where are the seacons $10 off?
>>6037311

>>6037593
>>6037056
No denying this is an odd release, but it pleases me in a nostalgic way. This is effectively what people thought Optimus Prime "should" look like in the days before Masterpieces, IDW, or even Dreamwave. When all we had to go on was the cartoon, the original toy, and whatever mecha art you could find online. This is what you'd see people draw Optimus like; a blend of toy and cartoon with attempts at aping mecha stuff like Gundam in terms of detailing.
Fucking Black Friday.
>Pandinus
>Apollo + Upgrade Kit
>Cynicus Asterisk

>Alpha pack for $100
I was hoping This and Planet X's Preceptor would fall to around $70. Is he worth it at a $30 discount?
>>6037857
I'm having the opposite problem. No good sales anywhere for anything. Where did you find Apollo for anything off though?
Hi /3pg/ I come from the normal TF thread. I come in peace!
I just ordered Titans Return Fort Max for $90 and want a master sword for him. What are my options? Thanks!
>>6037863
He's $100 with shipping at Actionrobo. Not a massive discount, but the more I looked at smaller-head version, the more it grew on me. Prefer it way over his fuck-huge giant slab of nothing iterations being pushed out by every other company. That, plus the amount of shit you can pull off with his hammer, just made it a fun li'l bastard for me to finally grab.
>>6037883
You can get the official Asia release of the master sword specifically made for fort max. It's the SDCC sword but in clear plastic.
Or the perfect effect sword. It has some diecast and it's a higher quality, but yeah.
>>6037065
>doesn't use a fake grill
It should. The fake grill looks better, and the way the MP hides the tires in the torso is still idea.
>10 inches at the head
For what purpose.
>>6037920
*ideal, not idea
>>6037920
The ass wheels are right where they belong. It's from the source material artwork this prime is based on.
>The fake grill looks better
Explain.
>>6037920
I feel like the ideal grill wouldn't be a fake one, but one that compresses somehow to go from the wider alt-mode one to a more narrow, stylized look for robot mode. I'm surprised no one has attempted this yet, as far as I know.
My main problem with most of the fake grills is that they look noting like the actual truck grill, which feels unsatisfying. I'm alright with "cheating" when it implies the fake parts are the fame as the actual ones. But when it isn't the case, it seems pointless.
>>6037957
The real grill makes sense here since he's already super square looking.
>>6037957
Moving parts+Chrome=Going to turn to shit, real fast. Hell, moving parts+paint is also a bad combo.
>>6037942
>The ass wheels are right where they belong. It's from the source material artwork this prime is based on.
That's an odd design choice then, so not necessarily the fault of the toy but not something I prefer. As for preferring the fake grill, I just feel like the actual grill is too close to a square. I like the way MP-10 had longer looking "abs" and shorter "pecs."
Even in terms of truck modes, I prefer MP-10 by far, other than the shitty rear end.
>>6037957
That would be an interesting way of handling it, although you'd end up with seam lines.
I was hoping some Planet X stuff would go on sale, seems unlikely now
>>6038023
MMC I think nailed it out the park. Esp the head sculpt.
I got Sovereign and Starscream coming this January. Who's next?
>>6038175
You should have waited for DX9 to unveil their Starscream. Its got to be better than the decade old mold they keep rehashing. Also invest in some repro labels man!

It's not the MP Starscream that I bought.
Though I guess I'm due for some stickers.
>Desperately want Sixshot
>Know the FT version will most likely be better
>Don't know if I can wait 15 years for the FT version
>Hanzo will hit retailers in a few weeks
>>6038200
Hexatron? Or do you mean "I want an MP Sixshot"?
>>6038208
Yes. Hex is a tad bit outdated.
>>6038175
How is that Blitzwing? Do you think he's worth the bux?
>>6038252
He's alright. Suffers from forced A stance due to lackluster ratchet placement in his legs. His tits like to wiggle undone when you manipulate his arm ratchets. Wrist ball joints were loose out of the box.
He's huge though, poses well, and has the most sick ass plane mode I've seen on a transformer.
I'd pay 110-120 for it. 140 is a bit too much.
>>6038252
Tank mode it weak but the Jet and Bot are fantastic and the transformation is actually fun. So yes he's so worth it.
>>6038263
>His tits like to wiggle undone when you manipulate his arm ratchets. Wrist ball joints were loose out of the box.
Wrist joints sound like a QC issue as mine were fine. Also don't have anything come undone messing with the arms. You sure you have everything locked?
>>6038269
The tit boxes that house his arm hinge joint like to pop open when you put any torque on the shoulder joint.
Those boxes just seem to rest on his chest and don't have a tab.
>>6038269
>>6038281
>>6038211
Hex still remains My favorite 3P figure.
>>6038327
>mfw I just took my Hex off a shelf to take a pic

I...I think it's ok...

So what's the best site to buy 3P stuff for someone in Australia?
Oh god he is even more beautiful then I could have imagined.
>>6038751
>>6038753
Loving the head sculpt.
So when is this fucker going to come out?

Iron Factory takes no fucking prisoners.
DX9's War in Pocket Seekers & Coneheads also look pretty hot.
>>6038799
V1 is already out, but it was recalled the same month for QC issues.
V2's out next year, soon. They replaced the bad parts with metal.
>>6038727
Well that's fucking beautiful
Now can we shut up about whether or not he has the spoiler?
tfw Iron Factory
>>6038924
What. When. How.
>>6038924
ooh, i want to see that megatron alt mode, because i was considering rioter despotron for my "autobot" megatron
>>6038924
Not Rod's looking good. That alt mode leaves a bit to be desired, though. Is it IDW accurate?
>>6038741
who's this supposed to be? i feel like i'm supposed to know this guy from the idw comics or the high moon games but i can't place him.
>>6038986
>looking good
>IDW accurate
>>6038990
Dai Atlas. The IDW design most likely.
>>6039000
ah shit now i recognize it.
>>6038741
OH FUCK iron factory has me right by the balls
>>6038986
No its not very IDW accurate at all, it has hints of the IDW but it's way off. It's a shame I wanted a more comic accurate version so to me I think this one looks terrible, but I'm glad other people are excited for him. That hood sticking up behind his head is really awful though.
>>6039024
and i guess this is the alt mode? (i like transforming robots, not shitty comics)
>>6039041
>(i like transforming robots, not shitty comics)
Wow, we need to get you a medal or something.
>>6038722
>Want a fuckhuge bruticus since ever
>Warbatron one is ass
>Might have to settle with minicus here
>>6039112
I'm waiting for ToyWorld to shit out a gigantic one, then release a G2 version with garbage colors and QC fixes for all the issues on the first release, and to then release a V.2 G1 version again with the QC fixes.
So yeah. Waiting sucks.
>>6038751
I wasn't even planning on any of that set, but goddamn I want my squidmonster now.
Hope he doesn't turn out to be shit.
>>6039124
WAIT
FOR
REVIEWS
>>6039128
Thats what I'm doing. I'm way too insecure and untrusting to do ever buy anything without a review.
I still have that basic urge of want though. Just if the reviews turn out to be shit that want will change to regret that it's a terrible, wasted opportunity and my money will go elsewhere.
>>6038722
>Wow this looks really goo-
>Iron Factory
Shit. So..What, 8 inches at the most? Voyager sized Bruticus I guess?
>>6039137
Dude how small do you think each limb is?
>>6039152
Legends sized in 'bot mode, so 4 inches. Vehicles modes are probably going to be smaller since vehicle modes usually are. So two roughly 3, 3 and a half inch legs, and a 4 or so inch body would probably end up about Voyager sized.
>>6038741
>>6038733
>>6038727
>>6038722
Noh my gawd.
I hope you are satisfied >>6036295
UGNNNNNNHHHHHHH
>>6038981
>>6037725
Impressive posability. I'm sure the increased cartoon-accuracy over MP-10 will please some, but his head sculpt is garbage, and his plastic looks so cheap I can almost hear it creaking through the photos.
>>6039241
Robot is gloriously THICC but that alt mode is fuckin hideous.
>>6039128
Well we already have reviews for the torso and how it can easily hold up the limbs, and with tentakill coming with upgrades to fix the head positioning and the thing to lock in the arm position to hold up a 6 member.
ITS TIME TO GET IN AT THE GROUND FLOOR
BUY BUY BUY
>>6039263
>TW not even once.
>>6039038
>No its not very IDW accurate at all
uhm
>>6038733
you forgot these ones senpai
>>6039293
Bot mode, the altmode is fairly close as you posted. I thought that would be obvious dude.
Is it me or does Planet X Trypticon look a bit small?
>>6039396
Sorry, thought the guy was talking about the alt mode. Still though, it's really close. It's just missing the bulk of the legs.
>>6039410
>It's just missing the bulk of the legs.
Well and the body really doesn't look right. The head, arms and feet are spot on but the hips/legs and torso need some serious work.
>>6039410
Oh, well that's disappointing. Dunno what I expected though, if he were Metroplex-sized he'd be like £1000. Should scale well with Legends at least.
>>6039410
He's the same size as their spreem who comes up to Utopias chest.
>>6039410
>Is it me or does Planet X Trypticon look a bit small?
Yeah, I'm not a size queen or anything but I was expecting something with a little more heft and wow factor for something that is going to be split up into two different releases....
>>6039228
>Iron Factory Bruticus
Muh dick
>When your partner turns out to be a terrible shot.
"Fine, I'll do it myself."
>>6038741
Here's my shitty shoop
We got a shitload of pics from SGC (whatever that is).
Any word on when Kultur is dropping?
>>6039584
I don't know if they've actually released anything yet.
This guy looks like he might have an ab crunch, which automatically makes me interested in a transforming toy.
>>6039583
Early December last I heard.
>>6039590
Every time I see that guy, I am a little more disappointed in it. They really couldn't have done a better job?
>>6039599
Are they gonna make any more of the guy? Didn't his PO's sell out quick as fuck?
Are there any better images of not-Fangry?
>>6039600
Right? A more realistic looking truck mode would have been nice at least.
>>6039588
Yeah I wish they'd release something soon so I know if I should get excited about their powermaster overlord or not.
>>6039645
I do like their aesthetic at least. Chunky bots with minimal greebles.
>>6039603
They said sometime back on their facebook that yes they're doing a second run so don't worry.
>>6039645
tits are too big
>>6039658
It does fit pretty well with MP star saber.
>>6039645
That thing looks like a legends toy blown up to twelve inches.
>>6039645
He looks so young with that face sculpt, like this is teenage Overlord and the MMC is the mid-thirties version.
>>6039680
Thats a bit disingenuous.
That said, I think Carnifex is a worlds better representation, but then again, they're also very different takes based on entirely different things.
>>6039645
Do we actually knoiw that the chest closes?
>>6039718
There's no way it wouldn't. No one could fuck up that bad.
All the mass went into his tail instead of height.
>>6039410
Shame that Shape shift is effectively dead. Legends FOC will look good with him and Omega Supreme even if they don't scale at all with game accuracy. At least he'll look good with Iron Factory's cybertronian releases
Anyone ever have KFC or X-Transbot figure hands break? Was looking at the fingers on my Andras and can't tell if the joints are stressed, or have just light colored spru marks on them near the joints. Nothing is loose, I just don't know how fragile these really are as I never gave them much thought until now since I wanted to pick up some upgrade kit hands for my carbots.
>credit card limit doubled
So how are those TFC not-seacons?
>>6040076
>credit card limit doubled
I've tread down this path once
the end wasnt so great
>>6040076
They are amazing, I've got the three released so far. Buy them.
>TW Thicktimus Prime
>FT Sovereign
>XTB Elgious if he's good
>IF Powermaster Prime
What are ya'll excited about?
Is this crazy...thing worth the extremely reasonable price he's going for? He looks strangely charming and he seems to be an all-original set of molds. I'm just always concerned about these Chinese "Literally What" figures, lest the price be a case of "too good to be true".
>>6040223
Is this a knockoff of an old tf combiner or a donut steele mold?
>>6040224
Donut steel I believe. Doesn't resemble any TF I've ever seen. Looks pretty cool in any case- weird, but cool.
>>6039733
>omnigonix spinout
> ANY skyfire toy (not a macross rip off)
>Targetroid Hot Flame
This is third party, you're more likely to see an "uh oh... we forgot about that... here's a $75 kit to fix that joint problem" or something stupid than literally plastic perfection.
sure, they're fucking awesome when they get it right... but when they fuck up... BOY... do they fuck up.
>>6040281
There's a big difference between design flaws and QC issues. OL's tit windows staying open would require some incredibly inept engineering. He would have to be designed to be shit rather than designed to be good and manufactured poorly.
I didn't even know this thing fucking existed, what am I in for boys?
>>6040417
KO? Who knows. Could be a huge turd, might be better than the original.
>>6040419
Plastic feels on par with mmc
Plus it cane with die cast swords
>>6040417
Typically get what you pay for. Hard to beat MMC's quality, but as long as you have fun and it was a decent price, hopefully worth it.
>>6040444
Hands were a bitch to pull out and there are some mold flashing on the chest flaps but I love this thing more than I thought I would. best 60 bucks I've spent on an impulse purchase.
>>6040492
Where'd you get that clear Windblade from?
>>6040591
Theres a clear IF Miko variant. I think you can still get it on a few of the usual stores.
>>6040417
>>6040423
>>6040492
I got their regular version and it's surprisingly solid. I've manhandled him, he's taken a mild shelf dive, the thing's built like a tank. The only problem is tolerance issues with his hands and a couple joints, but I have no idea if they're like that on the official version.
>>6040603
Yeah man, these hands suck, except for that and the chest flaps everything about him feels as good as an MMC toy if not sturdier.
>>6040591
Get her if you can man, but i wouldn't pay more than 10 bucks above Miko's usual cost. I think I got mine at robotkingdom or tfsource, been a while.
