Also I feel for that booth that were selling those big ticketed rare as fuck Japanese G1's since it wasn't a good con for them and I don't even think they're coming back next year since they came all the way from Boston so it's quite far.

As for hauls I already posted them so I don't really need to repeat it and I only bought simple stuff cause I don't really have that much money to begin with so everything I bought were planned months in advance except for that G1 Landcross and other than that I didn't deviate at all and got 100% of all my planned purchases.

Another surprising thing is that this year nobody really had CW Groove there unlike in 2015 where people had stocks of Quicksling and Breakneck. It was mostly TR stuff this year and besides it being new it seems like it is being much more well received by people than CW for some reason.

You're right about FoC Bruticus. The only way to make it passable is to display them in individual bot/alt modes. I have the Millitary Titans set for SDCC FoC Bruticus and it looks great. Shame they never released a G2 version...

I fucking love how solid this Titanmaster connection is. It doesn't feel like im stressing anything pushing in or pulling out.
Rewind's arms are kinda stunted due to the elbow joint's placement, but I like how he looks.

Passed on that $90 loose Music Label Soundwave, $30 revoltech Magnus, $60 MP Exhaust, Eagle Robo and most regretably, passed on the fucking Dia-Battles set. It was pretty much selling for retail and it's not like places are out of stock but still.. i'm still kicking myself for passing. I would've bought those con exclusive FansProject diaclone drivers, but I talked to the guy at the booth and he said they didn't come in time so eh

He's okay, I guess. Nothing to write home about, to be honest. I was hyped when I saw all the prototypes and promo shots for all the Machine Robo stuff, and wanted to buy them all. I think that was the general opinion of the line--that the promo shots looked really good but in hand they were just 'meh'. Battle Robo is no exception.

He's not exactly a brick, but if Iron Factory can do double elbows and knees, why can't other companies do it at a larger scale, y'know? And there's paint bleed, specifically on the yellow on the diecast chest that kind of bothers me.

All in all, he's a decent toy, the best one of Battle Robo you're going to get. But at $60 CAD, it's just not worth it. I'd say wait for some kind of sale, or hope to snag one used cheap on ebay or something.

I had Energon Shockblast, and as neat as he looks he isn't a great toy. Well, he's ALMOST a great toy but the floppy/fragile waist hinge ruins it. Mine literally broke in two at that waist hinge. Granted I was a kid but still, there REALLY should have been a locking point there.

The only other Voyager Shockwave I have is DOTM Shockwave. He's very Bayformer-y, but I love him. Good articulation (only missing wrist swivels and ankle movement), fun weapon gimmick, great sculpt and a nice overall look. His tank mode is a lot better than other Shockwaves as well. Granted I have no problems with aesthetic mixing but he really is a fun toy.
