How are your experiences with the individual packed Titan Masters?

I got Clobber, Loudmouth, and Apeface. Clobber fits snugly, almost as good as Furos himself. Good thing too because he looks the best on Hardhead by far.

Loudmouth goes in okay but not quite all the way. It's a secure enough connection though so I don't really feel like using hamhand power to shove him in an extra millimeter.

Apeface just doesn't fit at all though. I tried it with the head facing forwards and backwards. Neither way worked under the amount of pressure I was comfortable giving. Now I know the Scourge mold has a super loose connection port, so maybe Apeface would work better there? Or is this just a QC issue entirely?

Because alot of these are cheap anyone can take a bit of interest, we won't see shit like this in the figma or nendoroid generals because those are expensive and aren't something one can beg their mother to buy especially if its brought over locally.

As for an example of nationalities, I watch the octa transformers page and they're pretty decent (if slow) but then tfw has a fair bit of shit going on, but then again there are so few Aussie transformer fans compared to asia/North America, etc, then we got sensitivity and oh boy, some people go off like the 4th of july and that happens anywhere.

So how do you guys peg your titan masters in head mode? Both faces looking forward or small face looking backward?

The tfwiki says the opposite.

But from the box, the head is installed with the small head looking backwards.

The reason that the small head faces backwards is because there are grooves on the back of the small head that correspond to ridges in the clip. If the clip had been thinner(front to back, not top to bottom), it would grip the small head tightly with the ridge-groove locking in place. You would then tilt the head forwards so that the grooves would push apart the ridges allowing for easy removal.

Conversely, having the small head face forward is relying on friction, with the ridges spread apart around the head. Over time, the plastic will spread out to conform to this new position, meaning that those who face the head forwards are going to eventually experience bad fits.


TL;DR
Head should face the back, grooves should match the ridges.

The correct way is small head facing backwards. My Skullcrusher's head, however, cannot fit that way. When I first tried pulling his head off, the titanmaster's head pulled out of its body and I had to use a pliers to pull the little head out. Tried shaving some plastic but didn't notice any mold flash getting in the way or anything, and nothing was seeming to make it fit better, but putting the titanmaster in with the small head facing forward allowed it to fit snugly and still be removable.

While a few of the weapon choices for the headmasters were annoying (since I liked their original load outs more), I really like they made the cannon removable for Hardhead, and made it so figures could go inside the anon while also providing a hatch if you didn't have any figures inside it.

A few of the Micromaster defensor/SixTurbo team memmebrs hadfeatures of their given profession; RoadPolice has a hat and tie, Discharge has a fireman's hat, Circuit has a helmet.

Worse: basically remember all of the complaints made about Drift being an edgy Mary Sue when he first debuted? Take those complaints and magnify them by ten and you get the DJD.

Megatron doing this to a Prime and the former head of the corrupt government would make Optimus shudder, especially since it would create a crisis towards Optimus's legitimacy as a Prime if the old one was alive.

Let me tell you about MP Soundwave.

I wanted him, and found out he was coming out months ahead of time. I followed all the release details and leaks, until somebody found out the exact day he was going online. I stayed up all night refreshing the page until he went up at around 5am, when I was able to quickly check out and order him (it may have been a pre-order; I can't remember.) Within 30 minutes he was completely sold out.

That's what you were expected to do to get Hasbro's Soundwave. There is no excuse for a mass market product to be completely unable to match demand like that. Soundwave is one of those cases where the typical /toy/ autist will shit on you for not pre-ordering and wanting a toy after it was released, but Soundwave, and the western MPs in general, are incredibly mishandled.

I haven't looked, but the Takara Soundwave was 300 dollars complete, so you might be better off going that route if Hasbro is so expensive now.

He's good, but I personally definitely wouldn't pay more than retail for him though. The fact that the G1 version does a better job with his altmode that the Masterpiece is pretty embarrassing.
