June Challenges:
>Build a minifigure of a Star Wars character that doesn't already have one.
>Build a robot command centre. You figure out what it's supposed to be a robot or command them!
>Build something that's mostly Lego but uses some third party/off brand pieces.
>Build a brick-built wheelchair that looks better than the one in 60134.
>Build something based off of another anon's MOC.
>Fenimiminismninimism- Give your female figs something BADASS to ride around in! Bonus points for minidolls.
>Make a Fighting arena for your two most badass minifigs!
>Home Sweet Home - In honor of Captain Rex's AT-TE, rebuild a vehicle into a mobile home for your favorite figs.
>Build a shrine or alter.
>June Bride. Set up an impromptu wedding between your sig fig and another fig, or your waifig/husbafig and another. Bonus points for celebrity guests, full musical acts and ultimate points for treating her/him like a princess/prince with a "fairytale wedding" (fancier the better).

Always right over here bro,
what kind of car do you want to see?

I've been scrounging parts for a dark purple one but having some trouble with the limited parts in that colour. The latest new thing i did was put a drumkit on the roof of my black jap muscle monstertruck.

my Rides right now consist of the aforementioned black Jap muscle with or without monstertruck wheels,
a yellow musclecar with or without monstertruck wheels,
the modded speed champions Camaro and Hotrod.
a yellow Deuce convertible,
a grey Jeep,
a 50's police car,
a racing truck with trailer,
a red volkswagen beetle,
a streetcleaner
and a blue shitbox.
I fucking love cars apparently.

I also made some summery pics that kinda go with a few challenges of this month. The cool grills in cars one and the summer challenge of /lg/. Does anyone else here have dedicated Summer/beach/seasonal outfits for their minifigures?

Nintendo is in bed with K'Nex, and they focus only on Marioshit. Unless something radical happens with their licensing it's never going to happen.

I wish all these stupid Zelda ideas proposals would stop already. They only take up space and siphon an obscene amount of votes that could be better used in more plausible projects.

>>
>>5710913
Pokemon Company doesn't necessarily follow who nintendo is in bed with. That's why Pokemon was with that awful brick robot brand not too long ago
>>

>>5710913
>They only take up space
Of which there is unlimited space.

>and siphon an obscene amount of votes
You do know you can support any number of ideas, right? It's not votes, it's support.
>>
>>5710991
I meant they take the spotlight because of casualfag sites going "OMG WE WANNA HAVE SUM ZELDA LEGOS" and its casualfag readers who flock to Ideas and blindly support those projects with no idea of how the licensing actually works.

The Zimbabwe Science Show and Doctor Meme sets happened because of this, while more worthwhile (and likely less expensive) proposals remain ignored.
>>
>>5710997
These things also draw new users into the website, some amount of which will look around at other projects and support them, as well.

No matter what, big name projects will inspire the most attention. Other projects do happen, though. The Exo-Suit, Birds, and the Curiosity rover all attracted enough attention, without being tied to pop-culture.

Pretty much, the big hopeless projects draw people in. They get attention, and then some of the people stick around for other stuff. That's how the site attracts new users.

You can part out sets on BL to wanted list.

In that case, you can either open the scan of the manual while on the parting out-page and manually count the parts, or search if anyone has done the .xml-file of the Batmobile alone. And I'm fairly sure someone has.

Hawkeye really has no business being on the same team as War Machine
>War Machine is just as capable of a pilot, if not more so, being an airman

>Tony obviously trusts Rhodes more than anyone else or he would've made suits for Falcon and Hawkeye
>Hawkeye barely even wants to be there sinc ehe has a family and a farm
>There is no way to prove that 9/11 wasn't a false flag operation

Unless it's a construction thing which has fewer stickers and no mudguards if you're lucky.

I got the Bulldozer 60074 on a whim after rediscovering how great Lego is a few months ago and man, there's TREADS now! And non-blocky vehicles! And inventive uses of transparent blocks for headlights and door lights! And lots of bricks with pegs on the side! And a manual as thick as my finger, and it's only a 384 piece set (which is still way larger than anything I had in my youth).

When I was a kid I only had the rubber 'treads' that you slung around two wheels and god damn I would have killed a man for actual treads or sideways bricks you didn't have to build up three other pieces to make.

>FIRM GRIP
>>
>>5712834
It can be simple. Ideally, first you'd place your order. Next, the seller makes up and invoice after doing their math and whatnot. You then decide if you're happy with the amount requested and decide to pay or cancel the order. If you cancel, no harm done. You both wasted a little time, but most people are understanding. If you decided to pay, you then use an agreed upon method to give the seller your money. The seller then sends the items off and a few days later a bunch of danish plastic arrives at your front door. Then you tell the guy something like "Thanks! Great experience!" and they send something equally as silly back. Now you've completed a Bricklink order. EZ PZ
>>
>>5712846
So it's like a fancy diner where you have to meet and greet everyone twice, but without the confusion of which fork to use.

>You then decide if you're happy with the amount requested and decide to pay or cancel the order.

So the big price difference will be how much they decide to charge for Whatever Fees They Feel Are Necessary plus postage etc (so look for shops that don't have bullshit useless fees)?

Most shops list the fees on the splash page or store terms. But, yes. It is easier to not have to deal with lot limits, minimum buys, paypal fees, and all those.

Just take your time with the first few orders. Don't be scared to send the shop a message if you want to know about what they will charge.

First you post an epic picture to post an implicit example of a subgroup of people. Then you use Spurdo emoticon speak to further show you're strawmanning hard. Then you present the reader a limited amount of options to choose from in an argument.
Don't forget the misinterpretated scientific fact thrown in that you were supposed to learn in high school.

Those are the treads that I mean, the rubber ones that you put over chunkly wheels. I was amazed to find there's actual interlinked plastic treads now.

And two different types, as well. Which ones are better, the flat black ones or the grey wider ones?

>>5713492
>Which ones are better, the flat black ones or the grey wider ones?
Pretty much depends on the scale you're building at. Neither one will roll on their own - Sets with the black treads tend to have a wheel inside of them that drives the treads. Sets with the grey treads get these rubber stoppers you put into the holes to give them the traction they need to actually roll. Check out the Fortrex, you can see the rubber pieces.
>>
>>5713501
>Neither one will roll on their own
Boo! The old rubber ones rolled alright, even if they had a tendency to throw the track. Can you stick those rubber stoppers in the black five-hole treads, too, or will they not go all the way through?

>one stud at the bottom is the wrong color
>>
>>5713521
>Can you stick those rubber stoppers in the black five-hole treads, too, or will they not go all the way through?
I'm fairly certain the stopper is too big to even go part way. The holes on the grey treads are about stud sized.

And technically once the stoppers are in the grey tracks, they will roll without other mechanisms, just if you're going to bricklink the treads make sure to get stoppers for them too.

>>5713521
>one stud at the bottom is the wrong color
This drove me nuts but apparently it was just for that preview photo, the actual set does not include a miscolored stud.
>>
>>5713531
I've got the black smaller tracks so no rubber doodads for me then. Granted, I'm not exactly going to be rolling them across the living room floor (not out of maturity, but because it hurts my back getting down that low now), so I'm sure I can make shit work somehow.

I built my first Exo-suit a little modernized buddy.
Now i can finally have MEDIEVAL EXO-SUIT BATTLES.

One has a spear and the other an old halberd. The Nexo-knights shields are a little big for minifigs imo but for these guys they're great. They also have stud shooters because why the fuck not.

The builds are kinda different but i tried my best to scale them to the exact same size with the parts i had. Also modded the back of the original one so they can both store all their weapons on their back.
It's fun to make your builds play proof.

Great build, but the lack of cool unique/exclusive minifigures is a bummer. Will probably try to buy just the build off bricklink.

Naaah I like my army varied.
In my story they are gang from the north, where harsh weather and ice storms killed almost everyone, these who are pictured are the only one who made it alive. Somewhat, because it seems they are cursed or something.

I saved that picture. I love some ideas like giant trans paws from speedors or very well build beast!
