Not by most people's standards. I hate foils, so that rules out a lot of 'pimp' options. I pick basics that fit the theme of the deck, which is rarely full on 'pimp'. But I do generally get classic frame editions of cards if it's at all reasonably possible

I'm foiling my Ayli somewhat, but of course, there's some cards I'll never get a foil of, such as my spicy secret tech that's still "on theme", which is cleric tribal. It forced Mayael player to scoop, since apparently it and Phyrexian Reclamation are 2strong4u wombo combo.
Some of the cards in foil are outside of my budget or I don't care enough to get them, like Angel of Despair costs like 50 euros, but I'm satisfied with my signed copy.

What are essential strategies within an agro EDH deck? Usually my EDH decks are rather slow and methodical, I'm looking into setting up a grixis deck that will be have a lot of 1, 2, and 3 cmc creatures that want to get in early and fast.

But I've never built a fast edh deck so can anyone give me some tips?

Don't do it. Fast aggro doesn't function in EDH. You can kind of win with crawwurm midrange, but 40 life and multiple opponents is WAY too much time for traditional aggro to function.

Well the agro serves a bigger purpose. It'll be a pirate deck with Beckett Brass, lots of extra turns and fast pirates with evasion. Swing in hard and fast to steal the mana rocks of my slower opponents and use those to fuel my extra turns which will in turn steal me more shit to win the game with.

Yes, Dragon Arch chooses the creature when it resolves, so if Mairsil is in your hand you can pick him. The thing about Quicksilver Elemental is that if it's uncaged it'll always have its own ability, and if it's caged then Mairsil using that ability will give him another use of that ability. If he can produce blue mana he can keep giving himself more uses. And yes, if you blink him he gets his abilities again.

Well that's a horse of a different color. what you need comes down to two factors

Your pirates have to get through for Beckett to work, which means that blockers are a drag. Anything that limits or disables blocking is to your advantage. Intimidation (+ Thran Lens) could be OK here. Beckett Highway Robbery isn't going to be ultracompetitive, so give into the jank side a bit if it works.

The doom of most aggro is that something stops it and then it can't just restart. Wrath of God will leave you asking "What now?" even if you've got great evasion, as will virtually any chaff-clearing. Depending on how good your draw is, even attrition will grind your pirates to dust since there just aren't that many of them (Though if you Xenograft/Conspiracy that's a thing). You're in black, though, so getting some consistent graveyard recursion as well as some splashy recursion isn't beyond hope. Both Patriarch's Bidding and Oversold Cemetery will help you recover.

So I asked in the last thread but only got one kinda non-helpful response, I'm trying to crown my hope of ghirapur Commander deck. unfortunately the full art wastes and lands I'm using are either notoriously difficult to get foils of ($10 pop for a foil bismuth waste) or foils don't exist (myriad landscape, arcane lighthouse, ect.)

Using "p2w" is assuming the person paid however much Doubling Season is going for now rather than having one they traded for or pulled out of a Modern Masters/Ravnica pack so now that phrase doesn't apply. Even if they did how else do you propose people acquire cards for a tcg?

P2W only applies to video games that are a full $60 and than sell extra bullshit on top of that that gives players an unfair advantage over other players. It's for my own deck, actually. My entire playgroup is based off of precons so getting an expensive card is effectively paying more for more power, especially in the case of cards with unique effects like Doubling Season.
My question is whether using it in a 75% deck would make it just another strong must-answer threat like Cathars' Crusade, Craterhoof Behemoth etc. or if its effects are so strong that you'll feel bad for using it and winning. I'd hate to shell out for an expensive card only to be unable to play it for power level reasons.

Keeping all your tokens around for 1 mana per turn seems fucking great on paper, but on the other hand I'm not sure if I even NEED that many Wizards at once, considering I'm also running 5+ board wipes to stay alive.

Some of the cards in my EDH deck are double-sleeved and some of them aren't. The ones that are aren't really notable in worth, maybe foils, cards I like, etc.

Out of curiosity, who here would lose their shit over that sort of inconsistency? Who'd think I was cheating? What about in a casual, semi-comp, competitive environment?

Kind of. I dislike most of the promos and I think foils are the ugliest things on the planet but I'll try to make the cards themselves part of the theme. By that I mean depending on the deck, I'll have cards in specific condition or with the right borders.

My Uril deck is Naya obviously. Not well ordered or structured, it's nature going nuts. So my Rancor is actually damaged, my lands are all from different sets with new and old art. Some of my cards have white borders as it's all a mishmash of things, kinda like nature itself. I got the idea when I got my Rancor and it was in not great condition. I thought it was the best way a card like that in a deck like this could possibly look.

All I've heard is that KMC got bought out and changed production to something worse. My KMC hyper mattes I got a year ago work great and my friend's KMC hyper mattes that he bought a couple of months ago are trash so there's some anecdotal evidence, but even then I prefer UP Eclipse over my KMC hyper mattes. I'm trying to build a deck and one of the decks I'm going to play most often against is a Mayael deck that usually has as a wincon summoning, through various means, a bunch of creatures like Avacyn, Platinum Emperium, Blazing Archon, Archetype of Endurance and others so that the opponent can't basically do anything against it
With my other decks I have some ways to save myself, but it's the first time I use only R and G, so I'm not sure which card I could use
For the others I've found way to deal with them and, hopefully, I'd be able to deal with them before they are all summoned on the field, but I'm stack about how to deal with Avacyn. Can anyone help?

Trostani is the commander, so I have a lifegain subtheme. Voracious Wurm can often come down as a big as 58/58 and heal me 200, and then I have Sunbond, Overwhelming Stampede, and Aetherflux Reservoir to win. I can also copy tokens with Trostani, so I can do Wurmcalling or get them with Crush of Wurms, Roar of the Wurm, Advent of the Wurm, and Armada Wurm to start getting lots of life a fatties. Saltskitter is 4 life on every player's turn, which is pure synergy.

I've heard loads of people in here saying that Zurgo is tons of fun to play with, so I must be doing something wrong. I tried to incorporate land destruction, but that just makes it even harder to recast Zurgo when somebody inevitably pulls a Swords on him. What do?

Did you make your deck without at least like twenty different WoG variants? Because Zurgo should be 60% rocks and wraths, play rocks, play Zurgo+Wrath, Geddon all the lands, watch people try and rebuild while Zurgo's killing them, pop a Wrath whenever people start getting cheeky again, it's that simple.
