First, I intend to maximize my hard power for the purposes of maintaining stability and power within the Empire. To this end I can rely on military support from the Xernite Frontier and Legios Auxilios, I can obtain raw material/manpower from the Solar Lords, I can rely on intelligence/subterfuge from the Unseen Blades, and I should be able to rely on the continual provision of tech and weapons from the Syntetica. Even though the Crucibii have relatively poor loyalty, I am sympathetic to their aspirations and thus likely to gain their support in time. Despite effectively being in open rebellion with the Futurist Front, I actually share some goals with them and I hope that I will be able to come to an understanding with them in time. At any rate, my main intentions are to increase the centralization of government power, increase military power, weaken the noble houses, and introduce more egalitarian and free market policies. Through these actions, I hope to return the Orion separatists to the Empire, crush the Feral Xernites, and re-organize the Syntetica into more effective organization.

I'm not even sure that I have an optimal build for what I intend to do, but, as always, the main consideration in my betrothal choices was that I found Leonita and Ken-Eytor the cutest.

Does anybody else remember a ridiculously huge CYOA with like a million different companions and a million different worlds across a multiverse? I remember the first few pages were primarily black with white text describing worlds, and two of the companions were Rick and Morty. The last two companions were two dudes who believed in opposing ideals.

It really was huge, name or something to look for in the pastebin resources would be a lot more helpful.

As befitting a champion of the rank and file, I will wield the weapons my station merits and nothing an inch better. Intimidating display will likely manifest most of the time as thunderous war cries and cants that are uttered as we go haring into battle, bolstering a weak spot in our line or exploiting a gap in the enemy's. Behemoth claw will capitalize on that, rendering our charges into unstoppable displays of ferocity that shake the earth itself.

Face in the crowd should enable me to pick and choose the larger enemies I go after, rather than being singled out by them as a lynchpin, and help to negate the fact that I didn't take the scroll on tactics to take them down. I plan to get my start taking down ones that have already been wounded, and once I've developed my ability I'll move on to trying to deal with them outright. In the absolute worst case, I can serve as a distraction for them that is just dangerous enough they have to deal with me while my larger allies pummel them.

I'm not a superhero by any stretch of the word, but superheros can only do so much. It's the rank and file, throwing their lives away in the millions, that pick up the slack. So I'm going to provide them with every ounce of mettle I can.

I'd be happy to be part of the commander's strategies, but I'm all about that charge - I'm not terribly useful manning a fortress.

The lore dump Italics did was on the three biggest factions.

Naibelums were the squid sharks who basically want to rule the galaxy and be the number 1 race. A single female can produce 70000 children.

The second was the Mother System which is robot Empire controlled by an AI who searching the galaxy to harvest technology and replace organics with cyborgs and robots.

If the author is reading this, I don't think there's any real reason to have tiered upgrades. There's only a couple that build on each other (ruins needing puzzles to regenerate, spirits needing communication methods to serve you), and those can probably specifically need others. Meanwhile, for the others, you might as well just let people select what specific bonuses they want. You'll get more unique builds that way.
