Here's the fourth page. I had to drop the gnome because I could not think of a *single* thing that wasn't an undiluted gnome inventor trope. Creative bankrupty. He may come back if inspiration strikes.

Next step is proofreading and slighty revisions of the earlier ones (no significant personality changes except Lothienye), and then I'll post all four together.

Well, actually next step is doing a build for demonology, which looks rad. *Then* proofreading.

Feel free to let me know if any of these are shit in the meantime. Final release will be given in both png and pdf.

My first impression is that all the men are great husbandos except for Oraran because nothing that wears a big turban can be considered sexual.

My second impression is that in this page it really is noticeable how not all companions are suitable for all roles. Luga would be a terrible mentor for example since he can basically teach you nothing. Same for Ellyn, unless farsight can be taught but even then she is - quite amusingly - to Karesu as a seafaring warrior when it comes to being a mentor at least.

>>54484917
Technically, Ninla can have the biggest tits. Just a note.

>>54484946
Well, as discussed on a previous page, and easily missed, there is going to be a fourth slot of "rival" added. So, Mentor, Lover, Rival, Friend. It's not realistic to try to make this many characters who can fit into all of the roles. I am happy if every one of them is a contender for at least two of those four roles.

>>54484981
Ellyn is *much* less inconvenient diplomatically than Karesu is, and arguably much more useful away from the water, since her divination thing works everywhere. Not everyone wants a reputation as a pirate.

>>54485036

No it means you have to make Jars to siphon mana for bigger rituals.
>>

It's clearly an introductory biology text. Maybe Purves et al.? It's been a long, long time since I consulted one, but for a number of reasons it'd be good to have one in ebook format. Especially if it didn't cost much.

Philosophy is fun. I don't really care whether it's useful or not.

So I can't Halo Ouranos anymore, but I can summon him as a dragon.

Method: Bloodline
+80 Ritual Points
+5 Intrinsic Power
+2 Knowledge

Family: Celestials

Demon #1: The Space Hulk as a Familiar (-12)
Swap to 8 Knowledge

68 Ritual Points
5 Power
8 Knowledge

Demon #2-3: Chariot in a Jar x2 (-18)
+8 Power

50 Ritual Points
13 Power
8 Knowledge

Demon #4: Ouranos as a Dragon (-50)

0 Ritual Points

So I took the entire universe and stuffed it into the body of a bigass dragon.

Was this a good idea? No.

Hey Bossman, you didn't update the descriptive text on each of the specializations.

Also, I apparently don't understand how to get the higher dudes. Here I was, kicking back and sweating bullets for daring to put a Simurgh in a sprite to teach me to make humanoid monster bodies for Hubal and Rwan, and right over there is some necromancer bastard shoving the soul of an elder evil into a pigeon to access forbidden knowledge while his house melts around him.

I honestly thought the more powerful guys were some sort of statement about unattainable power, but it turns out there's no risk a Wizard with no sense of right or wrong will take.

Either way, wonder CYOA. Thanks boss.

Yo, I'm going to be attempting to make my first CYOA, and it'll be a Witcher one at that.
I'm surprised it hasn't already been done, and if it has nobody likes it enough to post it, so I'm going to see if I can't fill that void.

What would think would be necessary in a Witcher CYOA? Obviously the schools, the factions, companions.

Yeah, I would totally pick Mithrodae if my goal had been to get a stable and romantic relationship where we both help each other become better, happier individuals.

I went with Evet with the goal of a rival that I could I could push myself against, but not outright hate, and still have fun occasionally blowing off steam with. Drugs and sleeping with women totally counts as forbidden arts that a lady shouldn't be learning, right?

I think they work decently as mentors, but for the other parts some lack in appeal. What does the mermaid really have going for her beyond her shapeshifting? I mean, being independent isn't bad at all, but it's not something that makes go 'oh, I want to spend time with that person'.
This also applies to the previous pages, but I feel here it is more obvious because their descriptions are longer. Most of them just feel like companions you would take on an adventure, rather than people that I would hang out with out of my own volition.

Everything is gonna be okay anon.
Think about it. The world has been turning for as long as it has. Never stopped once. Now here we are, and the world still turns. My money says it'll keep turning after we're gone.
But is that a bad thing? No, of course not. It's something freeing. Learn that second language, do the things you love, meet the people you can, and live a life you can smile about. The sun keeps coming up in the morning, and we've lived through every bad day we've ever had. So in the end, what's the worst thing that could happen? Failure? Pfft. All that is, is a sign that you're on the right track and need to try a new angel.

Overall, I enjoy them all significantly. I'm probably going to do several builds with different themes eventually. There's some nice potential synergies and interactions, especially with the expansion to four people.
>>
>>54487145
Looks good.
>>
>>54487430
>I don't really do waifus, any other ways I could sweeten the deal?
For me, personally, it's not an issue of waifus, it's an issue that it *sounds* like I'm probably going to die. That means extended lifespan, eh, not that great. And the "sweet magical powers" seem to be about battle, whereas I'm more concerned with my post-battle reward. Others may feel differently, of course.
>>54487438

Wouldn't stuffing the Space Hulk into the body of a pigeon result in "devastating effects"?
>>
>>54487145
About Oraran: in his bio it says he is a sexist for thinking woman are less capable then men in most areas. My question is are woman in the fantasy world the MC has been transported to different to our world? Like are they about as strong or as fast without having the same muscle mass, and is their intelligence further spread across the spectrum?
If they are different, is this due to different breeding preferences and evolution or is there magical or divine intervention?
>>
>>54486582
Heh, I intend on putting Mastema in a Sprite. Yes I know I'm binding a trickster god into a little wing humanoid form for the purposes of teaching me how to do better magic, what's your point?
>>
>>54486899
Leo. I liked that kid so much and then he died. Oh shit, I still can't handle this.
>>
>>54487964
The space hulk only has 3 dots of power to start with and doesn't govern any fundamental force of the universe like a lot of the tier 8 demons.
>>
>>54487983
Physically, the combat difference between men and women in this world is smaller, or at least somewhat less relevant, due to the dominance of special techniques/abilities. Magically, men and women are equally capable. Oraran believes that men are superior to women both physically and magically. So he is, at least, objectively wrong when it comes to magic, even if there is a debate to be had on physical capability.
>>

Putting together a holy party, because Jesus is my wingman. Will enjoy spending time roaming the countryside spreading the good word, helping the downtrodden, and reaching spiritual enlightenment until I get powerful enough to settle down with a cathedral or monastery of my own to run.

Mentor: Sir Calladan
A stern yet kind aging paladin? Sign me the fuck up. Will provide aged wisdom about the world and lessons on holy magics, as well as how to protect yourself so you don't get killed. Will also serve as a moral center for the group considering the faults of my other companions.

Lover: Suse Laham
Honestly this choice was mostly based on my decision to make a party of clerics and paladins and the artwork. She seems sweet and caring, and most of the arrogance she will grow out of after we spend some time adventuring around. Odds are she'll end up a more powerful priest than me, but I think I'll be able to learn a lot from her, both magically and personally, and that we'd get along well on a personal level.

Friend: Dukon the Pure
He seems to have the same problem as Suse and I think it will be mediated in the same form, that being experience and travel. He's also devoted and we will bond over our missions and hopefully learn to respect some of our differences. He'd also help with marshal training, as I intends to not be useless in a fight.

The only answer I can give you that I know is right is that this will start an internet fight.

The ancients, in their infinite wisdom, had a solution ready to go in case of shitposting. See, Helen never really went with Paris, no, she was always ever-faithful to Menelaus. The Egyptian gods created an illusionary Helen to go with Paris while the real Helen stated safe within an Egyptian temple. The entire war was fought over a fake illusion thus invalidating the entire story, but that's okay as long as all potential waifus are pure.

Interesting. I like how varied the factions are. I think I'd probably go full on guardian hero and roll
>Shrine of the Fallen Titan
>Learn from the Past
>Paragon

or go
>Nameless Hero
>Wrath of God
>Standard Issue
because I like the idea of the valiant underdog that occasionally wrecks face unexpectedly.

Some of the perks and flaws seem a bit restrictive though. Crumbling Colossus seemed cool, but there's only really three choices here, and only one that doesn't have intrinsically negative consequences. I was drawn to Laughing Djinn initially, because being a snarky, tricky speedster sounds awesome, but all the flaws turn you into a hindrance to your allies.

Also, followers of the Sphinx would be the second weakest, wouldn't they? Nameless Heroes seem to be peak but otherwise base humans getting by on guts and determination, so I'd expect them to actually be weakest in physical stats since Sphinx followers are explicitly magic. Also, just from a design standpoint, I'd put the Nameless last in the list. As the only group without an actual Guardian patron, they stand out as something different, and it seems weird to break the pattern with them and then go back to a more standard group with the Sphinx.

>>54487430
You could emphasize that the army of darkness is definitely going to destroy the world if it's not stopped. It's mentioned in the intro, but the recruiter seems kind of bland about it so people might miss the implied threat of annihilation.

Also, don't worry about the waifu thing. This obviously isn't that kind of cyoa, it would be out of place.

>>54487228
>>54487399
These two are the only real formatting errors I see. If nothing else, fix those and you're good. It's a solid cyoa, well done.
>>
>>54490057
With the new version you have to minmax for higher tier stuff until he adds in his drawback system which would make the higher stuff obtainable for a price which is more appropriate really for demon summoning. If you just want to chill and relax with your summon it shouldn't be too hard. The whole power scale just makes it seem like a waste since it goes from summoning embers and basic creatures to summoning manifestations of concepts and reality warpers.

Key to giving these characters life is giving them motivation and/or a past.

Gnomey McGnomeface:

Possible backgrounds:

Gnomey (better known as Professor McGnomeface) made several strides into the science of automated servos. Something-something a student sold his latest model to the black market for use in assassinations. Humilated, he seeks revenge/redemption/a drink.

Retired general in the clockwork army, he wants one last glorious adventure before retirement.

Grandpa Gnomeface as he's known in town is fed up with kids playing on his *goddamn lawn*.

Three times, I defy you!

Attached is the pdf; I went deeper into review than I thought. Every character has at least another line or two (except the lizard, I think), with the general hope of humanizing them a bit more. Lothienye was made significantly mellower; I don't think anyone else had major personality changes.

Doing the pngs is a huge pain, so I'll leave this overnight, see if there are any comments worth incorporating, and then do those tomorrow.

Oh, the Gnome is there now. Hopefully he's a bit more than *just* a cliche.

I think more than four characters gets crowded and makes the builds less special. That being said, I'm not opposed to adding a Guardian/Protector *role*, that you could assign to one of the four in place of one of the current four roles. Like, five roles, but pick four of them, kind of deal. Would that at least partly satisfy?

...Oooh. Better than I expected.
I like the Ork's style, but I don't think I can trust him not to freak out on me out of sheer lust for battle. He stays in the pod. The Wych looks very Chaos-y, and I'm pretty sure they sacrifice people and maybe eat them? Sorry, you stay too.
Toven appears to be a robot, and that's just awesome, so he's coming with me. The preaching's annoying, but not a big deal if he's otherwise friendly. Lyseria is... whatever the elf race is called, I remember them being not really friendly with humans, but not necessarily total enemies? We get along okay sometimes, don't we? She's probably fine to bring with us. Yeah, the robot and the elf girl I let loose.

>Part in Peace
Well of course I'm not going to start a fight. We fought our way free, we're totally buddies now.
>Krumpkek
Jeez, I made the right choice here. I don't need crazy ork mobs chasing me looking for a fight. Glad I didn't let him out.
>Toven
No real negative consequences, and I'm apparently invited to hang out on a beach planet. Robots are awesome, I told you so.
>Lyseria
Oh, neat, I got a space elf girlfriend out of the deal. She can come with me to the beach planet!
>Katrass
Uh. I mean.
...Well, I don't think I'd have taken her up on the offer for sex anyway. Who knows what she's been up to. Plus, Lyseria. Maybe kind of regret not letting her out though? She apparently wasn't going to betray us at all, despite being kind of nuts. Maybe I could have talked her out of the blood and sacrifice thing?
...Probably not, huh? Oh well.

Good choices for somebody not into warhammer. Some clarifications

The tau aren't robots Their soldiers wear advanced battlesuits because their technology is on the up-and-up, while the imperium is in the grip of a long period of technological decay. Humanity got too ambitious with tech, once upon a time, and is wary of repeating the same mistakes.

The Necrons aren't necessarily evil since the retcon, but they are crazy. Millions of years of sleep after turning yourselves into robots to escape the empire-ruining consenquences of the mistakes your civilization made will do that.

The 'witch' isn't a magical witch, but a masterful martial artist known amongst the dark eldar as a wytch. Dark Eldar aren't necessarily aligned with Chaos, the relationship is complicated, but they do tend toward evil as they need to torture captives to keep chaos from gnawing away their souls.

Salamanders are definitely the choice for being a good guy, their lack of dickishness is an explicit and almost unusual trait of theirs. They also get to actually keep in touch with their families and even reside with them at times.

>>54493417
The mystery box is designed to be silly, so don't worry too much about that; you did good.

The Tau are actually dudes like this in battlesuits and also pretty much space communists controlled by a caste with low key mind control powers, who sometimes do stuff like sterilise client races; they're still one of the nicer factions all in all.

While Craftworld Eldar and Marines have worked together in the past, actually hooking up with one is fan fiction tier stuff in this setting, but it made me laugh so I put it in.

I'm not too familiar with the newcrons, but here goes:

Everything seen up to the update, the homogenous forces of unfeeling soulless machines driven by a contempt for the living and a desire to reestablish dominion over the galaxy, has been overlords who have gradually lost their personalities over the years.

The soldiery are still little better than automatons as they're cheaper models of necron robots, but the nobility retain their personalities if they don't get eroded by time.

The royal courts tend toward eccentricism of varying kinds. Trayzn wants to collect interesting baubles and specimins, while others simply want to get back to 'living'. Some do in fact want to conquer the galaxy and purge the living.

There's also something about the high king of the necrons lurking in the shadows wondering what the best course of action for his people should be. Take the galaxy? Go back to sleep? Join the forces of Order against Chaos?

All in all, I like the change. We already had an implacable omnicidial foe in the form of the Tyranids, and the Newcrons open up interesting narrative arcs involving the necrons besides "Try not to die" which was really all they offered gaming groups before.
>>

>>
>>54493828
It looks like you're basing the character mechanics off of D&D's paradigm. Unless you have very good reason to keep your system this way, I would simplify. CYOAs are ultralight RPGs at best. A few popular CYOAs have heavy mechanics, but they absolutely need evry stat they ask to player to track, and even then they're pretty light compared to more simulationist game fare.

CYOAs are usually better served by focusing on the narrative aspects of the setting, because all stats wind up being are dick-measuring rulers anyway.

For example, instead of Skill(swordplay), you could simply say the player gains training in the art of swordplay. Or you could keep the wording the same, but clarify elsewhere that it simply represents such training.

Attribute stats like agility and charisma are usually best avoided, in my opinion. They're ill-defined even in heavier rpgs, and for CYOAs all they add is confusion and an excuse to argue.

Just a little advice from what I've seen and made myself.

>>
>>54493932

>>
>>54493962
That's a lame excuse. The design doesn't have to be fancy, it's just tryhards like SDA and (originally) the Scientist who push that envelope, but just because they do doesn't mean you have to.
>>
>>54494281
>Actually being able to make a build with a variety of creatures is 'curtailing' fun.
I disagree, being restricted to only a very few choices in a large CYOA is the opposite of fun. 80 is far too little.
>>
>>54494305
My CYOA isn't something small, it's going to end up being at least 20 pages, probably more if I don't end up simplifying the first section. I couldn't live with myself if I made something ugly and basic appearance wise for a concept so large. I'm not trying to be Imaginos here, but I want it to at least be a Beri, SDA, or Bliss.
>>
>>54494341
Well you don't need to make something ugly like traveler, but pick a nice couple fonts, nice colors, and make clean lines, and that's really all it takes. Hell, tell us the theme and the tone and I bet we can get you some good font and color recommendations.
>>
>>54494275
Of course. Say that one race tends to be stronger than others on average, or that another is known for high magical potential.

Items and blessings and what-have you are great. Keep an eye on how you handle inventory, though. You can sell the player a bow, for example, but throw in a supply of arrows and don't make them buy them separately.

Always consider the narrative impact of what you throw into a CYOA. Even something as small as a worthless ring the PC remembers always having is good; making the player choose between trail rations and deluxe trail rations rarely adds anything meaningful to any story the player could build.
>>
>>54493644
>Because it was OP, you mongoloid.
"overpowered" isn't even an applicable concept to CYOAs, go fuck yourself
>>
>>54494377
It's science fantasy (think a fantasy universe progressing to the interstellar age, at least as far as the greater setting goes), and I wanted to get across the feeling you have when you're looking at a vast stretch of nature or the sky at dusk, that sort of awe, curiosity, calmness beauty, and grandness yet smallness. That's the feeling I associate with adventure, and so I have many different pictures of fantastic landscapes and star fields.

However, you start out in the remains of a burnt out, malfunctioning science lab illegally hidden on a backwater, early industrial revolution planet. You yourself feel a bit out of place, which is completely fitting with your origin here. Consequentially, the first part of the CYOA, which is about character creation, should feel a bit more rusty and broken down. Sort of dark, melancholy and dangerous, but not without that same sense of curiosity. A feeling of loss and opportunity

Occultists essentially have 18 less points than stated, since without power you're kind of crippled. And if you are going to Jar something, you may as well Jar the strongest things you can for the same amount of points. Once you hit five power, it doesn't really matter anymore so it's largely consistent.

For Bloodline, it's odd. If you want to get 5 Knowledge, aka baseline with Occultist using Jars, the cost starts to vary wildly. The Fae have the best deal, taking only 3 points to get to Knowledge 5 (Druidic Garden Riddle Spirit), Shade/Celestial take 8 points, and Troll/Djinn take 10 points.

That means that a Fae Bloodline is only at a 5 point disadvantage compared to any Occultist, while a Shade/Celestial Bloodline is at a 10 point disadvantage and Troll/Djinn are at 12 point disadvantage.

Not that huge of a deal, really.

Thanks for the excellent feedback. Again, this wasn't designed to be a high choice CYOA. More in the vein of that chose which god to follow one from a while back. The flaws are deliberately quite harsh, I feel a lack of freebies makes the small number of choices more meaningful. The peanalties are harsh to balance the bonuses. It's the same for all the guardians with the exeption of the fallen titan since a vanilla build matches his lore. In terms of power, you've got to add utility to the mix. Sphinx is only the weakest in combat, but enhanced senses is really useful. Nameless hero would lose in a straight fight to sphinx form, but you'd have a thousand souped up soldiers at your back to balance the scales. Similarly, Legendary General boosts those around him/her, but benefits are mostly limited to your squad so he/she is more physically powerful to compensate.

Nameless Hero was a real guardian, it's just no one knew who she was. I wouldn't say she's any different from the others.

I was thinking of amping up the threat to earth to "persuade" people to play, but now i quite like the idea of adding more incentives. After all, it's the recruiters job to recruit people and he's not succeeding at the moment. That being said, I'm still not adding waifus.

>enhanced senses is really useful.
Eh, not really. Get a dog.
>>
>>54494611
Just barely. Which makes sense since they start with 20 extra points, it's just that the spread isn't as extreme as first indicated.
>>
>>54492551

Shiiiiet, I really like the minor rewrites and new characters, especially Lugs. Its late, so I'll have to redo the old party I wrote up tomorrow.

Well done!
>>
>>54495049
There's a few shrines that interest me, but given that you don't get to know much about what kinds of assignments you'd get as a rookie, and which ones you'd get as a pro, you can't really weight if you'll be able to grow in a way that lets you handle tougher situations.

This lack of progression is a tiny bit concerning if you're being asked to join in an army, since you don't want to be cannon fodder right away, and many positions, if not all of them sound like you may reach a point where it's all down to luck.

That's, in a way, playing against the rewards you'd get for a power fantasy where those powers have meaning beyond being a walking mary sue, so you'd ask for further incentives to compensate for likely dying horribly, like having use for what you gain outside of battle, saying that your reward isn't just combat abilities after a war is over, or companionship of some kind.

Even on bleak situations, you want to be able to tell a story that doesn't end up being dead on the first battle because, oops, you were a berserker and ended up in the wrong spot.

I guess describing my CYOA mostly with emotions was a poor move. Oh well.
>>
>>54494941
Can you even get a T10 without completely ruining the world now? Using the one concrete example (T8 in a Jar), means that putting something in something five or so ranks lower than it would have bad consequences. That doesn't leave us much.

An Endbringer God would cost 80 Ritual Points, which is pretty much impossible to obtain. Demiplane is 70 points, which is technically doable but you end up ruining the world anyways because you have to put a T7/T8 in a Familiar. Halo/Third eye suffer from the same problem, even with the added wiggle room of only costing 60 points.
>>
>>54495005
As in, combining the demons and vessels in manners an for purposes that reflect your way of thinking and identity. Not just everybody the same Ouranos halo.
>>
>>54492551
Evet the bourgeoisie scum must be executed.
>>
>>54484433
>put wish in a tool
>the entire concept of demonology is destroyed
>>
>>54495347
Again, you're going to have to show me you being creative. There's no meaning in 'reflecting your thinking and identity' alone if we're talking about having an actual GOOD build. Something can be representative of you and be completely boring and weak.
>>
>>54495326
I can't help but think the creator didn't really put much thought into the nerf.
>>
>>54495450
I believe the nerf was made for the upcoming DLC, otherwise everyone would be too powerful.
>>
>>54495483
He should've waited until he made the DLC, because as it is now, there's a host of problems. Who can even say when he'll finish it, since he's been making Demonology slowly over the past two months or so? Let alone whether it's going to end up being a GOOD solution or not require you to have demons in the first place (which would mean going back and affording a T10 is impossible.)
>>
>>54495506
Just use the older version instead of complaining then?
>>
>>54495326
WAIT, I THINK I FOUND A WAY

Occultist Troll. Soul Jar a Gargoyle, then Familiar Ragnin. That's 81 points left. You still need 8 more power. Two more Gargoyle Soul Jars leaves us with 63.

Just enough to Third Eye Ymir.

It's the only one that can actually summon their Level 10 without breaking the world.
>>
>>54495514
Criticism scares and frightens you, huh anon? There's nothing wrong with judging a poor decision.
>>
>>54495529
Nice assumption, but no. I just don't think a coherent critique of the newer version is possible until the necessary extensions come out.
>>
>>54493828
A race of lolis.
>>
>>54495545
I'm judging his decision making as well, anon. It's not difficult to argue that a point nerf is poorly thought out when the DLC meant to 'correct' it hasn't been released.
>>
>>54495570
There's nothing stopping you from using the previous version, anon. This isn't set in stone like some sort of vidya.
>>
>>54495576
Except that doesn't have anything to do with his decision making.
>>
Am I the only one who wouldn't want to use the third eye and halo options simply due to them allowing a creature multitudes stronger than you to basically inhabit your mind.
>>
>>54495583
It has everything to do with his decision making. Not liking the state of the newest update due to the fact that it runs better with the yet-to-be-released 'drawback' DLC is foolhardy.

So naturally, it would be best to migrate back to the standalone previous version. Unless it was never to one's taste, of course.
>>
Am I the only one who doesn't have a clue what the fuck this nigga is talking about?
>>
You guys will complain about literally anything. It's amusing.
>>
>>54495625
>>54495627
A hostile anon freaking out over changes? It's a common occurrence.
>>
>>54495622
We're not talking about which version to play. We're talking about the CYOA maker's decision to update his CYOA with the points cut in half in preparation for a DLC. Until that DLC comes out, you're stuck with those points and that's it. Thus anyone building off the new version is gimped. So, it was a poor decision to make the point nerf BEFORE finishing the DLC.

>>54495625
I think he's an autist.
>>
>>54495636
Don't even. I'm not freaking out, you're trying to argue your hardest against what started as a one note commentary on the maker. If anything you're the one getting worked up.
>>
>>54495637
Holy fuck. People are telling you to go back to the old version. Why are you incapable of doing just that?

Perhaps you're the autistic one for thinking that it's somehow not usable anymore?
>>
>>54495649
It's barely an argument. I'm telling you to go back to the previous version. Nothing more. For some reason it's like you think that's impossible.
>>
>>54495661
>People
Because, moron, I'm not talking about the versions directly. I'm talking about the creator's decision to post a point nerf without the drawbacks that are meant to make up for it. He should have waited until he had the DLC. How are you so blindingly frustrated that you refuse to see my point? Are you baiting?

>>54495666
You're telling me that, illiterate Satan, because you don't understand what I'm actually talking about.
>>
>>54495637
>the truth
>it must be autism
>it hurts
>must not admit it

: /
>>
>>54495674
So you're mad that he released it beforehand? Oh well. It doesn't really prevent you from doing anything, now does it?
>>
>>54495676
If there's even a shred of truth in your argument, it's not applicable to what I'm actually saying. We are arguing different things.
>>
>>54495684
I'm not mad at him, I'm irritated at you. I simply wanted to say he made a poor decision, you're the one who came in with self-righteousness flooding out of your every orifice and tried to pretend like I was complaining about my build or whatever; who tried to argue something unrelated to what I was saying.
>>
>>54495696
I told you to go back to the previous version. I don't recall anything about a build.
>>
>>54495700
And now you're fucking with me. I'm not really buying that you missed the point that bad to think this was a semantics argument. Good troll I guess?
>>
>>54495637
>Until that DLC comes out, you're stuck with those points and that's it

So don't use the update.

:^)

Mentor: Lei - Walker of Shadows
I'm going to want to learn rogue skills, and I'm going to want to learn from the best.

Lover: Evala Harvest - Soul Sorceress
Ambitious and driven, but with a softer side; feels similar to Tohsaka Rin.

Friend: Sir Tane Regrove - Sunset Knight
I can relate a lot to the idealism/cynicism struggle. Plus, a bro with nobility connections is always a plus.

Rival: Lenth Alchus - Whisperer of Ishtu
As a generalist, he'll usually have some handy spell for a variety of issues. I'll feel like I need to compete with that in how useful I can be to the party. Also, we'll both be eager to learn more and share knowledge.

Nobody's getting triggered about changes. The biggest source of autism right now is you deliberately missing the point, then pretending like your opponent is whining. Just to shitpost, I'm guessing.
>>
>>54495755
I was calling you the sperg, actually.
>>
>>54495810
You're mad that he released it early, yes? Why does this bother you so much? It doesn't prevent you from doing anything.

Not unless you truly believe that. In which case I'm not the autistic one here.
>>
>>54495852
And I'm calling you a samefag, what of it? I can tell when I see a shitposter's version of gaslighting. Post timers help quite a bit there, actually.

>>54495859
You insisting that someone is mad or angry is also textbook shitposting, elementary to the point where I can't even remember the last time it actually worked.
>>
>>54495874
Well, aren't you a paranoid little anon. You shouldn't become so self defensive over such minor drivel over the internet.

It's considered bad form.
>>
>>54495895
And you shouldn't be shitposting, but here we are. It doesn't help the author or really hurt him, unless you're expecting him to mistake you blowing up a minor complaint about timing into a full on rail against the heavens over the actual changes like they were a mortal sin. If that's your goal it's pretty insidious. Otherwise, all you're doing is making another anon think you're stupid.
>>
>>54495922
>I don't like what this guy is saying
>must be an autistic shitposter

Sums you up perfectly.
>>
>>54495939

>>
>>54495988
It takes two to argue anon, and no one wins any points having the last word on a temporary messageboard. Next time you think someone is being obtuse on purpose, just drop the matter and move on. There are better ways to spend your time.
>>
>>54495610
There's no other method of getting more Knowledge. Putting T8/T9s in Familiars is dangerous.
>>
>>54495610
>>54496141
In all honesty there is a pretty big gap between the knowledge tiers. You need 8 Knowledge to unlock Third Eye (ignoring all it does for knowledge is make it easier to unlock Demiplane). With the exception of Ragnin, all the options with that much Knowledge are T6-T7, all of which are a bit past what you should be stuffing in Familiars (especially the T7s, since they break the 5 below 'rule'). There really needs to be like a T4/T5 Greater Familiar option.

This one is really cute!

Witch
Orphan
Mammal (loyal pupper)
Focus (1):
Cleanse to keep my master safe and healthy!
Perks (4):
Charming so she likes cuddling with me!
Detector so I can maybe warn her of danger.
Guide, so I can always be the safety net for her when we're traveling.
Speedy, so I can scout around for her.

Job:
I feel like I've made myself a pretty good Scout, but Valet is appealing too. So I'll choose Scout but I'll be sure to return home often to see if she needs anything.

Event:
Forbidden Love of course. I'm speedy so I'll deliver those secret letters to her waifu or husbando in minutes!
