What was the biggest joke you ever pulled?

please be decent in your responses

In Generic Dungeon Builder, can you combine Jumper's Theme with itself? As in, make a dungeon floor that's based on, random example, both Madoka Magica and Eclipse Phase?

Sorry if the immediate repost is annoying.

So, it's either having a free follower or paying for an extra import, right?

>>52331944
Anything living and organic, anon.
There's a reason it's called the Killing Curse.

Though, I'm sure it can instakill non-animals.
There's no evidence for or against it.
>>
>>52332395

Yeah, pretty much.

When you become a Devil Tiger, can you change the color of your Anima Banner and make it so it doesn't make people sick and mildew food and clothes anymore?

What happens to the body we leave behind when traveling dimensions with Bio-Emerge? Does it just stay there, or does it dissolve in a reverse of the Bio-Emerging process?

Origin: Delivery Boy, Age: 27
Perks: Do The Hustle, No Delta Brainwave, Sweet Sweet Candy
Items: Holophoner, Royal Honey

I have to avoid the protagonists, because they die a fair amount.

So, I'm pretty much just going to roll as a gay Zapp Branigan, a planet-hopping lothario out to toot my own horn. In highly episodic series it's best to just go with the flow and be ready to hop in your warehouse at any time.

Avoiding the plot leaves me without a lot to talk about. I was a tourist, I had my camera, and I traveled the universe. There were fun aliens, and mean aliens, and neutral aliens. I may or may not have eaten a couple of societies. That's just how this setting rolls.

>>
>>52332429
You can change the color, sure. That's tied to your caste, and you're changing your caste. Changing the effects of your anima banner...probably? None of the Devil-Tiger charms give that ability, but making a custom charm for it should be possible. Just remember that anima banners are always going to mess with your nearby environment, that's just how they work. You can change it to a more pleasant messing with the environment, but it should never be subtle.

Ah, excellent. I don't want to have any lingering mindless bodies. There's way too much weird stuff tied up in my biology to just leave it around for anyone to stumble over. It's not safe.
>>
>>52332490
And just as there are some beings immune or heavily resistant, there are always going to be one or two tools designed to punch through said resistances / immunities. The glorious arms race that is evolution and development.
>>

Even better: Hagrid will be born during your stay in Fantastic Beasts. Go befriend his dad, be cool Uncle Jumper, give him the case as a birthday present.

With those two you can convince people to kill themselves for you just by talking. Heck, you could do that with the first one.

You become meme!Ainz, who can turn entire nations into vassals in a day and has legendary monsters prostrating before him constantly.

Not really... But it has to be "matched to the character’s personal aptitudes and talents", not necessarily to the Devil Tiger theme (though those are likely to be quite similar).

>>52332429
Yup. Here's the relevant bit of the DT charm for it:

>Her anima banner itself may be radically transformed, having different cosmetic effects on objects exposed to it; it may even shine some color other than green (though it will never identically mimic the anima display of some other variety of Exalted).

>>52332538
The Tempest of Inward Focus actually does allow messing with that. But yeah, still not subtle.
>>
>>52332603
He does not. He survives heavy bombardment with curses, but none of them are stated to be the Killing Curse.
>>
>>52332603

Oh, so it does. Not sure how I missed that. I saw that it changes anima display, but not anima banner. Well, neat.
>>

He is also only half giant and does not have the full on immunity of one.
>>

>>52332529 and >>52332576 are right.
But also, AK isn't a normal spell.
It's 'unblockable' and punches straight through shield spells like they aren't there.

>>52332603
No. But he did take a few stunners over the period of a couple minutes.
Didn't even slow him.
Wands against fists, he beat a team of wizards solo, then ran off.

>>52332661

>>52332682

Bahaha, okay, fair point.
>>
>>52332702
So it can kill Darkseid is what you're saying.
>>
>>52332702

>>
>>52332603
>AK
The first thing I thought of was AK-47 and I immediately wondered who was using an AK-47 on Hagrid. Come to think of it, how many rounds could Voldemort take from a DSR head on?
>>
>>52332724
So if you travel somewhere else, and then travel back, can you effectively gain a new body in a reality in which your previous one was destroyed?
>>
what's the effective range on an AK?
if you miss, does it just keep going forever?
>>
>>52332348
You know how in some works of fiction, you have women who flaunt their 'assets' over their less 'gifted' counterparts? Well, I once cast a spell that caused those same women to have their voluptuousness transfer to the other girl whenever they tried to taunt them about it. Seeing them go from smugly boasting to panicking was hilarious.
>>
Can Shiki kill a jumper who has Zombie from 7DS? Probably, but I'd like to know for sure.
>>
>>52332756
Zero. Rowling has said that wizards loose to "muggle wands"
>>
>>52332795
she also said things get summoned at light speed, and HP never became an obscur-whatsit.
>>
>>52332738
AK is not that powerful at all. Mostly because Harry Potter's barrier and normal defenses are pretty shitty.
>>
>>52332768

It's trying to make a copy of your current body that can function properly in the new dimension at the time of transporting. If you don't have a body of some kind at the time of use, you'd just be traveling to another dimension there's nothing for it to copy.
>>
>>52332783
If she targets the soul, then yes. If not, the Jumper will just regenerate.

>>

>>
>>52332894
"Why are we being attacked by seals, and why are they blue...OH GOD *blegh*"
>>
>>52332795
>"muggle wands"
With a firing range effective up to 1.5km I really wonder how wizards would react when you amputate them from a range.
>>
>>52332795
It's was originally a "farmer with a shotgun". Personally, I don't think such a statement exists.
>>
>>52332834
Will you just stop your dumb limit wanking and accept that wizards are FTL? It goes a long ways towards explaining why these inbred retards are capable of maintaining secrecy in the modern world; they are simply so fast that no one notices them.
>>
What perks are there that let you eat anything?
>>
>>52332932
Watch them be allergic to wifi "microwaves" and cell phones.
>>
>>52332951
You're not half as funny as you think you are.
Ironic shitposting is still shitposting.
>>
>>52332956
Well, magic does have some EM static effect, that's why you need an enchanted radio to hear the Wizarding Wireless. So yeah, maybe. Maybe wifi actually would interfere with some magic.
>>
>>52332956
They use cell phones, though.
>>
>>52332795
Then she showed a young untrained wizard beat the NY police force and be immune ot their bullets.
>>
>>52332989
Magic cellphones. They've probably got little tiny floo connections built into them.
>>
Where can I get the best forcefields? I want them to be /literally/ indestructible and freely shapeable.
>>
>>52332943
Well a shotgun generally fires a large spread, so presumably a wizard could probably survive at least a full 9mm clip, or several smg clips if the damage isn't concentrated. Probably could survive a couple direct rocket launcher blasts too.
>>
>>52333000
No, they were literally mundane, muggle cellphones.
>>
>>52333001
Here, on earth. Our real-world forcefields are indestructible and freely shapeable. Granted, they're not all that good at resisting things passing through them, but you can't actually destroy them.
>>
>>52332954
Metavore from the Body Mod makes you able to eat anything without regard for it's nutritional content, as long as it has the calories you need.
So you could live on Doritos and Mountain Dew if you wanted.
>>
>>52333017
I guess they fixed it the other way around, then. Stopped ambient magic from messing with carrier signals instead of modifying their phones to ignore it. That's rather more impressive, then.
>>
>>52332989
>>52333017
You got a source for that?
Almost no one was using cellphones in the early to mid 90s.
I find it hard to believe that the same people who couldn't figure out postage stamps and coins are using 90s era cell phones without a problem.
>>
>>52333020
I don't get this meme.
>>
>>52333072
What meme? I'm just telling you that we have forcefield technology here in the real world. It's not great, but it exists, and the forcefields are functionally indestructible. So long as they're provided power, they will continue to exist. Just don't try to block anything with it, they're pretty permeable fields.
>>
>>52333039
I think Rowling just retconned the whole Wizards can't use Muggle tech thing in favor of Wizards not caring for Muggle tech because the tech was inferior. Would make sense if conventional Muggle armaments have no effect on Wizards anymore. Voldemort no selling guns and explosives is kind of hilarious.

>>52333055
Rowling's timeline is different from the normal world.
>>
>>52333027
Costs irreplacable points, though.
>>
>>52333094
…I guess I'll repeat myself.
Do you have a source for that?
I find it really hard to believe.
>>
>>52332954

>>
>>52333093

>>
>>52333122
You'll have to watch the Fantastic Beasts movie
>>
>>52333155
Just tell me.
Spoiler it.
>>
>>52333145
Oh, I get it. Sorry, I didn't realize you meant "energy barrier" when you were talking about force fields. No, we don't have those. I thought you just meant like...fields of force. Like we use in a lot of modern science. I mean, technically we've been using them ever since the invention of the electromagnet, but I meant the good stuff that we use today.
>>
>>52332834
>and HP never became an obscur-whatsit.
What?
>>
>>52333174
The NYPD show up in Fantastic Beasts and for some reason, they're all basically using pump action shotguns in 1926 that apparently do zero damage to non Muggles. They all get overpowered and mind wiped by MC Men in Black style.
>>
>>52333199
When wizard kids are treated like shit they become monsters, this has obvious plot issues.
>>
>>52333199
Obscurus. Plot point in Fantastic Beasts. It's what happens when you abuse a magical child and keep them from using their magic, creates an evil spirit. That anon is claiming that since it never happened to Harry, it must be a retcon. Though I could see an argument that having a Horcrux in his head prevented it, it fed on the nascent dark energy that could have developed into one.
>>
>>52333221
I meant the thing about the cell phones, anon.
Wizards.
Using 90s era cell phones.
Do you have a source?
>>
>>52333222
Iirc she said that people only become Obscurials when they are taught to hate and repress there own magic. The Dudleys simply wanted Harry to think that magic didn't exist.
>>
>>52333231
I don't think it's a retcon at all. Harry just wasn't treated badly enough. It's implied that Obscurials take a massive amount of trauma, enough to make Harry's childhood look like a vacation. I'm guessing it's like daily rape, mental harassment, forced pregnancies, and whatnot. All with the no magic clause.
>>
>>52332995
Do you mean the one that was literally a smoke monster?
>>
>>52333248
Indeed. From Rowling's website:

>An Obscurus is developed under very specific conditions: trauma associated with the use of magic, internalized hatred of one’s own magic and a conscious attempt to suppress it. The Dursleys were too frightened of magic ever to acknowledge its existence to Harry. While Vernon and Petunia had a confused hope that if they were nasty enough to Harry his strange abilities might somehow evaporate, they never taught him to be ashamed or afraid of magic. Even when he was scolded for ‘making things happen’, he didn’t make any attempt to suppress his true nature, nor did he ever imagine that he had the power to do so
>>
>>52333246
I'm not the cell phone anon. I was just wondering how many rounds it would take to kill a wizard. The answer is still infinite as of now.
>>
>>52332348
Every so often, I resurrect dead religious figures to see if it starts a new offshoot of the religion.
>>
>>52333246
Does it matter? It's not like the Hex where wizards exude a passive anti-technology effect. It's magic that does that. Wizards watch muggle TV and use the internet.
>>
>>52333260
>I'm guessing it's like daily rape, mental harassment, forced pregnancies, and whatnot. All with the no magic clause.
Oh, is that what happens in the movie? Because I must have missed all of that.

>>52333275
>he didn’t make any attempt to suppress his true nature, nor did he ever imagine that he had the power to do so
I don't buy this, but I can't be arsed to go digging through the books to refute it.
>>
>>52333347
>Wizards watch muggle TV and use the internet.
They do?
>>
>>52333347
Do you have a source for these claims you keep making?

>>52333368
I'm about 99.999% sure they don't.
I've been asking for proof that they use cell phones, Muggle tv, and internet for the last 20 minutes, so far all I've gotten is.

Of the two Obscurus mentioned, one of them is from a girl that died, her abuse and death acting as a catalyst. The other was repeated mental abuse.
>>
I have a dumb person question... how bad an idea would it be to take Nyarlathotep as your persona. There is a point in the game where you get a mask that will let you do that... even if you have good compatibility is it a bad idea?
>>
>>52333391
I doubt purebloods use them, but you can bet muggleborns do.
>>
>>52333275
So, it's basically all about the intent behind not using your magic? Hating and repressing it is bad, but simply ignoring it or having no knowledge to use it is just...meh?
>>
>>52333368
The muggleborn or half-blood ones do. Pureblood wizards usually don't because they're too old-fashioned, even Arthur Weasley for all his love of Muggles doesn't actually indulge in their media. But the point is that there's nothing physically limiting them, it's just a cultural thing.
>>
>>52333411
Nyarlathotep is fine. It's been a canon persona for multiple verses now. If anything Mara is worse than Nyarlathotep is.
>>
>>52333391
https://www.pottermore.com/writing-by-jk-rowling/technology

>While they have no need of mundane domestic objects such as dishwashers or vacuum cleaners, some members of the magical community are amused by Muggle television, and a few firebrand wizards even went so far, in the early eighties, as to start a British Wizarding Broadcasting Corporation, in the hope that they would be able to have their own television channel. The project foundered at an early stage, as the Ministry of Magic refused to countenance the broadcasting of wizarding material on a Muggle device, which would (it was felt) almost guarantee serious breaches of the International Statute of Secrecy.

>There is another reason for most wizards' avoidance of Muggle devices, and that is cultural. The magical community prides itself on the fact that it does not need the many (admittedly ingenious) devices that Muggles have created to enable them to do what can be so easily done by magic. To fill one's house with tumble dryers and telephones would be seen as an admission of magical inadequacy.

Done and jumpable
to address some things it is not just a movie jump but games and series as well. Reason for the amount of cp on the extended time drawbacks is that canonly time passes by much faster in the Grid ~50 to 1.
Changed all programme to program. As for the complaint about all the perks so far I have only have that one person complain about them they fit the theme of the tron I think there is a reason I named it Tron System Jump if you want a just movie canon Tron jump go ahead and make one idc.
>>
>>52333618
If you've decided to stick by your guns that's fine and all, but can't you at least do people a courtesy and format your jump properly? You've got massive white space and literally two blank pages at the end for no good reason. Your jump should be about twenty or so pages, probably ten or so if you use standard spacing, if you removed all of the weird space bar breaks you put in.

Otherwise I'm not going to bother arguing. Looks good, w/e.
>>
>>52333618
Stop saying done and jumpable when you constantly ignore all the criticism you recieve. If the only feedback you get is bad, then that means something is wrong because no one is speaking up to say otherwise.

Either address the issues, actually address them and not brush them off with "Im fine with it" or leave your jump on another forum.

So... I goofed slightly and thought that since this was a persona jump it would be set in persona 1 and so I did my research on persona 1... I mean I read threw the description but I figured I would get more from watching stuff and reading the wiki.... so I am kind of at a loss what to do at the moment. This maybe be a jump I set aside and do later after I give it some more research. I see now looking back I was clearly mistaken...

So what? That doesn't excuse you from having to answer critique or respond to stuff. It seems more like you want to have certain effects in the jump then really make a fitting one, especially with how resistant you are to changing anything.

Wildcard had a thing where he tried to prevent people from actually interacting with canon Purseowner.
In more positive terms you effectivley get a chance at an original adventure in the Persona verse instead of needing to know which plot you're getting into.
There's nothing really stopping you if you want to just force yourself into whatever game you like best though.

The User and Master Control Programs are 200 CP and I cannot see why. Normally CP premium backgrounds have more and better stuff then other backgrounds, and these seem about the same as the others.
>>
>>52334335
The whole idea of the CP locked backgrounds being off was pitched the first time the jumpmaker posted this jump. We're now on the seventh or eighth time. I don't see it changing.
>>
>>52333982
I feel like Wild_Card just wants to be special and unique instead of actually earning the right to be that way, so he tries too hard to be quirky. He probably picks his rulings solely because they're strange, instead of them actually making sense.

Do note that these are my honest opinions. I'm not trying to shitpost here. In my experience, people who call themselves wildcards act that way.
>>
>>52334068

You're getting raked over the coals a bit. I sympathize with you, especially since I'm also a fresh-faced jumpmaker. But I do think it needs more work before it's done. Even not being familiar with the Tron system, I can see there's at least grammar and spelling stuff that needs a fix.

For example:

>Esoteric Progamme [400GB Discount Program] For some reason when you were programed it did not come out as normal machine code. Instead your code is in an esoteric programming language, you have always felt like you didn’t belong to the Grid.. So far in your existence this has only meant you cannot be hacked, possessed, reProgramd or taken control of. Choose a programming language from https://esolangs.org/wiki/Main_Page you gain a minor skill in what your programming is like that will grow with time. Such as Velato giving you a music talent.

After a proofread pass, it'll look more like:

>Esoteric Program [400GB Discount Program] You have always felt like you didn’t belong to the Grid. This is because you were not programmed normally, but in an esoteric programming language. So far in your existence, this has only meant you cannot be hacked, possessed, reProgramd or taken control of. Choose a programming language from https://esolangs.org/wiki/Main_Page. You were programmed in that language, and gain a minor skill related to that language that will grow with time. For example, Velato could give you a music talent.

"reProgramd" might also need to be "reprogrammed", but I'm not familiar with Tron, so that could be a setting-specific bit of terminology, in which case it's fine.
>>
>>52333262
It's his magic coming out wildly, bro. There's no reason a wizard can't do the same with a formal spell.
>>
>>52334397
I disagree because I get the sense he simply thinks a lot about the settings he does jump for given the detail poured into them. I get the impression his calls are more the byproduct of old stigmata about jumpmaking more than anything, and being in the difficult position of having certain things which are heavily desired to be utterly absolute by some while trying to reflect canon-in them aren't. I don't think he handled it perfectly, but I acknowledge I wouldn't know what to do in his position either.

Wait, you meet a lot of people called wildcard? I only know the one and he's, well, the one we're talking about.
>>
>>52334369
>>52334369
I must have missed that one the first time. That I have not problems with changing didn't realize that about cp locked backgrounds
>>
>>52334429
You're pointing out grammar and spelling stuff while overlooking some of the key problems in his jumpmaking, which that perk actually highlights. Instead of trying to do anything unique, he throws a wiki link at people and tells them "make up your own shit". This is considering that there's actually no mention of different programming languages in Tron (not the original or Legacy). What's even more ridiculous about that is his example of using Velato (an esolang that was completed in 2009.) It wouldn't even make sense for Velato to be in the initial Tron, even Legacy is set just at the crux of 2009. A lot of the esolangs just never existed back then, so why is it a perk?
>>
>>52334458
Except, you know, the fact that fucking GRINDELWALD himself thought it would be an amazing weapon he wanted to have.Or the constant mentions that it had to be a beast of some kind.

If a wizard could just do that, there would've been literally no reason for either of those.
>>
>>52334527
Yet you ignore anyone pointing out stuff that doesn't fit any tron setting at all.
>>
>>52333509
Really? I haven't played 5 yet, waiting for the American release. Does the rest of the team get to use the Velvet Room's services, or is it still only the protagonist that gets to fuse new Personae?
>>
>>52334528

This is true. To be honest, the spelling and grammar stuff is all I really feel qualified to diagnose, given my lack of familiarity with both Tron and jumpmaking in general. Also, lots of people are hitting the "the mechanics of it are weird", angle, so I wanted to point out the potential aesthetic issue instead.
>>
>>52334508
Wild_Card suffered from a very strange problem where he wanted to break out from the mold, but couldn't find enough effort to do something extremely expansive like Babylon or Dirge did, and yet at the same time he didn't have the crazy meta breaking ideas like Doom did. So everything he did seemed to be stuck at this half way point where only certain parts of the jump seem to have all of the attention poured into them, and they only get remembered for that as a result. Then he got into bigger messes because unlike any of the three I mentioned, he went extensively into making rulings, which probably did him more harm than good.

Still only the protagonist, but that's only because he's the one that ever does it. It's possible the others could do if they wanted to. Or they would, except...okay, this is a serious spoiler. And I do mean a MAJOR spoiler.

Except 'Igor' isn't actually Igor. It's Yaldabaoth AKA the Demiurge, the final boss of the game. He's hijacked the Velvet Room for his own purposes, and is pulling everyone's strings in order to achieve his own goals. He sucker punched Igor and split the new Attendant into two, then took control of the Velvet Room and assumed Igor's form. The scene where the group enters the Velvet Room is them rushing to confront him. They were able to enter the Velvet Room, they just didn't know about it until then. He only invited the MC and the Traitor because it was part of his 'game'.

Don't worry, that bit was spoiled for me a long time ago. I wasn't strong-willed enough to avoid spoilers about the overall plot, I just don't know the finer details. Like, I know who all the bosses are, but I don't know how the Social Links go (or whatever they're called now, I know they've changed the name despite keeping the base mechanic the same).

Ialdaboth being the villain and replacing Igor was extra trippy for me, since I got that spoiler back when Persona 2129 Quest was running before Thorn dropped it like he inevitably does all his quests. Gnostic villains and people replacing Igor was a big part of that quest, so it was one of those "wait, which one's the fanfiction?" moments. Fun times.

He used this card http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Maxx_%22C%22 , which makes you draw 1 card every time your opponent special summons. The other guy responded by using two copies of this card http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Manticore_of_Darkness , to create an infinite summoning loop. He sent one copy to the graveyard to special summon the other, and kept doing that over and over. The "draw a card" effect wasn't optional, so he had to keep drawing until he had his whole deck in his hand, then he lost when he had to draw a card and didn't have any.

Katawa Shoujo was the cripple dating sim.
The one made on 4chan with over five billion general threads on /vg/

I suppose the gauntlet is going to be knightly adventures and princess saving. Rather generic, but it might be neat.

Pretty sure you've only fucked up if you for some reason have Naruto as an enemy. Or if you took that drawback where Naruto and Sasuke both lose their plot armor and it counts as a loss if either of them die. Then you better hope Naruto can control his strength when they fight or your chain probably just ended.

The attacks listed on the wiki seem to focus on support. One increases 'luck', leading to increased damages and crits, another is called 'misfortune' and causes opponents to take a small amount of damage every time they attack. Yet another temporarily heals. She can also turn people into goodie crates.

Because you're talking about conversations that no one else seems to remember, and honestly, most of us are sensible enough to know that most people don't take jumpchain near seriously enough to hate random people on the internet that we don't even know. I've heard stories of Dirge getting angry at people making shit decisions at his workplace, that kind of shit I can believe. Outright hating a person on the internet? That just comes off as an attempt at catchy dramashit, and the schoolyard variety at that.
>>
>>52335230
Well, actually, Sasuke didn't defect this time around. Through a combination of constantly beating it into his head that Orochimaru, his brother, and all of the other famous ninja in the village got strong in the village, and actually forcing him to interact with people and creating a web of connections in the village, he didn't leave and trained his ass off to get stronger. He was still kinda edgy and angsty for a while, but not as edgy and angsty as before, and he got better.

Well if we go by the mechanics he tends to put in, he's probably going to throw in some sort of ISO companion customization, one of those synthesis items of his, then god forbid he does another repeat of Knight of Sidonia and makes a Grid scenario. From what I've seen of FF12 that new Fortress scenario is Sidonia Redux in Ivalice. I still don't know how I feel about that.

It has to have SOME advantage. Either the spells are more powerful from being cast through it, are less fatiguing by drawing power from their inherently magical construction and core, it is easier to design spells with a wand in mind, it is easier to teach spells with a wand in mind, etc.

108. Digimon
Starting Location: File Island
Origin: DigiDestined, Age: 12
Digimon Partner: Yaamon > Impmon > Wizardmon > Mystimon > Dynasmon
Impmon > Nohemon > Yatagaramon > Ravemon
Perks: Side Evolution (Nohemon), Warp Evolution
Digivice: Whip, Armour Digi-Egg Directory
Armor Digi-Egg: Sincerity
Items: Power Lock Wrist Brace, 2 Revive Disk

This jump is kind of terrible. I like the world enough not to care, though.

I'm just going to go full fanfiction with this and say since I have an origin and am pulled into the digital world alongside the DigiDestined I get a crest of some sort. It just seems off that the ancient wizards would totally miss one child. And I'll make it the crest of Darkness, because I'm the only one with a traditionally evil Digimon. I don't get a Digi-Egg because that has actual mechanical benefits, so I'm ganking one of Yolei's.

I love how surreal and strange the digital world is, even for all of it's danger. Nothing here is as it seems, and most of it is entirely pointless or trying to kill you. Good food, too. I enjoy taking care of the other Digidestined during our jaunts into the digital world. It wasn't even a half-hour in that I revealed I was a world traveler and could fight on par with multiple champion ranked Digimon. Ultimates are well out of my league still. My companions showing up also helped the kids relax a little.
Persona/Stand hybrids are potent enough to fight Digimon as well, if they fight in groups.

I only got Impmon up to ultimate level this jump, because I wasn't Tai or his rival, but I did get to stay over two series and a helluvalot of movies, and I did end up getting Tai and Sora to stick it out. So, my ship was fulfilled and I am happy.

>>52335999
There's no indication it weakens magic, but it is referred to as "not the strongest" wand core. It's also the most stable and least prone to murder. This guy reminds me of the Anon that was upset he couldn't directly murder people with human magic in Dresden Files.

>I did not realize that was when it was made so I removed it as well as like to that wiki
More and more you're starting to show that you haven't done any homework at all in researching material for this jump. To begin with your excuse of precedent is a lazy one, and one that can easily be turned against you if we bring up some of jumpmakers known for over the top detailed OC. But now you're just out right going "oh I didn't know but I put it in anyways". That's not simple laziness, because most folks wouldn't think of esolangs, it's the kind of laziness that reeks of "I know this one thing I want to put in but I'm not going to check if it's actually valid or not".

People gave you slack before because you're a new jumpmaker and all, but seriously you're shooting yourself in the foot.
>>

>>
/jc/, what are your favorite jumps to take when intentionally overpowered for the setting, be it to crack-ify things and troll people, use stronger versions of in-setting powers while pretending you don't know what people are talking about when they question it, try to get the best "wtf" face in reaction to out of setting powers, or anything else you might do that would be particularly amusing in such a situation?

I brought freedom to the world, and did it in the most fun way possible.
>>
>>52336259
It's hard to tell fanfiction from Rowling's rulings.
>>
>>52336098
1) You have a serious lack of creativity in your murder methodology and I find that depressing.

2) It's the wand meant for utility purposes and stable magic. It's the one you use when you don't want a wand that will blow up a lightbulb when you're trying to change it, or backfire when you're attempting a space-manipulating charm. Combat is nice to think about, but most of your life will be spent outside of it.
Also, unicorn hair makes best dog.

>>52336183
Honestly, I wanted a Wizardmon as well as an Impmon and the Royal Knights seemed pretty cool.
>>
>>52336191
He was born evil because his family is from long line of retards who fuck their siblings and have kids. They're like the rednecks of British Isles. Plus he grew up in a poor muggle orphanage which probably didn't help.

If anything to save the kid, get treatment for his mother. She used a love potion on Volde's pops. When instead you could help her out by actually counciling her into winning Tom's heart for real. Or counciling her to seek someone who would accept her and love her.

Also get her some real medical care when/if she does get pregnant. I'm sure there's magic to help with child birth. If not Jumpers have ways.

Assuming you don't wish to do any of those. You can probably easily just get Voldey as an infant, place him in caring arms. I would probably get him to go to the American school instead of Hogwarts. Get him far away from Slyverin stuff.

Being forced to use workarounds is a severe disadvantage.

In Harry Potter, you don't exchange wands. Wands choose you. There's no choice provided to you on which you get, and trying to use other people's is prone to mishaps.

Other people have pointed out how your jump is basically Generic Virtual World, Tron Flavoring. If you feel like that's what you want, then by all means declare it finished again and try to put it up. Each time you've declared it finished and made changes, you didn't do anything except remove things. It seems like you have this idea that you're just here to barter with us about how much you can keep intact and still put it up on this drive as a valid jump, and you make little concessions by deleting things bit by bit, hoping that we'll turn around and praise you.
>>
>>52336384
The biggest problem is that there seems to be the majority of the jump is not canon but instead stuff you think fits, at least judging by what others have listed out. If you're only doing a few NC things that fit, lots of anons have done that and its fine. But you seem to have huge amount of NC stuff and a lot of it seems to get bad reactions too.

>Remove all the perk that don't perfectly fit?
Yes. You're making a TRON jump so keep it TRON. If that means removing a background or two, reshuffling them into perks so there's enough to fit or even scraping the whole thing then that's what you should do. If you're not making a generic jump, then you shouldn't be adding in things that don't fit the universe.
>>
>>52336429
Why?
>>
>>52336470
If he put in effort to try and link NC things to Canon, people might have been willing to overlook it, and that's where the whole precedent he brought up works against him. Other jumpmakers known for NC? They pad their NC so that it at least feels like it has a part in the world. This jumpmaker doesn't understand how fluff works, so his fluff just makes the NC stand out even worse.

Problem is now that more people know that it's NC, it's hard to go back and say it's canon. It's even worse when you try to defend your choices by saying "well other people did it before me"

This is better to read, but I thing they are talking about the double spacing you are using taking up a lot of space.

>Perks: (100GB perks are free for their Origin Discounts 50%)
A good boilerplate is "All perks are discounted for their origin, and discounted 100 CP perks are free."

>Hacker [100GB
missing free/discounted Drop In like the other perks

>Mechanic [200GB Discount Program, Drop-in]
This is currently discounted for everyone. If so, so should have the discount pre applied and be moved to the General Perk section.

>Identity Disk [100GB Free to all but Drop-In] -
This is true to the game I think, but seems like it is more downside then a positive, because of the If you lose your disk or fail to follow commands, you will be subject to immediate deresolution.”

I cannot remember, is the disk 'you' in the Grid, so it getting lost/destroyed kills you, or is the deresolution as externally imposed thing?

Either way, this seems like something good to base a drawback off of.

No actually the double spacing is the only thing that his formatting does well for him. If he stuck to single spacing a lot of his perks, items, and other parts would feel like reading a skeleton, because he doesn't actually have that much as far as description goes for most things. At least with the double spacing there's the sense that there's a lot of things and you can cover through it quickly.

Like if we had to compare, I think in the same amount of pages you can fit five to seven thousand words. This jump has maybe two to three thousand max.

Bee, question about the Digimon Tamers jump.

The Drop-In capstone, Digital Progenitor, allows you to grant pretty much any program life and intelligence.

In the old generic Digimon jump, you can buy Legendary Spirits and the Seven Code Keys.

Would using Digital Progenitor on either of these kinds of items cause them to grow into actual full-fledged Digimon? The loyalty provided by the perk essentially means you could have a pet Demon Lord if you aren't stupid when interacting with them.

The Post Apocalyptic/End of the world stuff is always fun for stuff like that, because the social contract has broken down already, and you can go 100% out in the open superhero without having to worry about world powers freaking out, and the game of "Guy with powers acting out adolescent power fantasies" becomes a game of "Guy with superpowers has to take over the world because conventional government keeps trying to kill, contain, or exploit him"

The end of the world stuff lets you have that "Walking Dead" scene with the barbed wire wrapped baseball bat go a very different way, and be the first day of many, many days where Neegan eats a shit sandwich.

I was advised, most earnestly, that this was not a good idea and should be changed. Thus, the Skills section that I had all but completed had to go. It is being replaced with Iconic Items from hero rescuers of all eras, as well as a few basic skills for those who take it early and may lack basic princess rescuing skills.

I don't know why you're soapboxing about page counts when this isn't about page counts. This is about the effect that inserting white space has for making otherwise skeletal documents look somewhat fleshed out. Because the white space effectively acts like padding, things that are basically one liners don't feel as sparse as one liners normally should. This is a relatively common technique when it comes to advertisement design, and knowing how to use white space effectively is one of the first things people would learn, because handling it properly is important in terms of drawing your target's attention.

If anything, page count is only a side effect of this and nothing more. Page count doesn't necessitate to a good jump. Having more doesn't mean it's a bad jump. Having less doesn't mean it's a bad jump. Your metric is meaningless. Really the only thing you've managed to do is shill for Cool Cats.

Cool.

Also, are we to assume that any additonal D-Arks you make using the False Blue Card follow the same rules as if you bought a D-Ark with any Origin other than Tamer? As in it isn't bound to a Digimon until you find one willing to partner up with you?

Plus, how does the Digimon creation feature work with the False Blue Card? How would you actually get it to do that? Is it essentially the means to make additional Digimon Partners?

There's actually quite a few. That one Dynasty Warriors jump is full of them and there's plenty of "mysterious" people that are just hard references to other series characters. I really wish I had compiled a list just for this occasion, but I didn't think I'd need it.

Now of course galactus doesn't fit at all in harry potter so it would be stupid to include him, but there's nothing wrong with princesses in a jump about saving princesses. It isn't out of place at all.
Would you be saying it's a Mario jump if it had a knock off of Peach? Because that's the same principle.

D-Arks made using the False Blue Card are not automatically bound to specific people or Digimon at the time of their making. Creating new Digimon would be similar to how Takato, in that you'd simply have to focus on the Blue Card while thinking about why kind of Digimon you want to make. Stuff like personality, appearance, powers, stuff like that is important to keep in mind. If you have trouble concentrating, doodling and focusing on the picture or something could help. Although purely personal fluff, I like to imagine that once you do this, data and false proteins will manifest from the False Blue Card before coalescing, slowly forming the DigiEgg or Digimon you were thinking about over night.

>Is it essentially the means to make additional Digimon Partners?
I actually put a note into the Jump regarding this.
>-2: Tamers may not form partnerships with new Digimon using D-Arks created through the effects of the "False Blue Card." They are able to functionally make new people into Tamers however.)

The creation of new D-Arks is essentially allowing you to spread the love and help people become Tamers in future Jumps.

The Gauntlet will require you to do neither. You must only rescue a Princess. Even the introduction text makes that blatantly obvious. You are not expected to marry, fuck, or even like the Princess you rescue. Just climb the tower, defeat the challenges inside, then kill the Dragon. From there you can, if you wish, make the Princess a Follower or Companion and do with them as you wish, but there is no forced anything.

I hope I have solved your confusion.

Nightmare- Information about you- specifically the parts that would scare the pants off of the average Joe- seems to spread like wildfire, growing and distorting like a game of telephone. Play your cards right, and you’ll quickly gain a reputation as someone who shouldn’t be trifled with… of course, while many are superstitious or cowardly, actually being able to back up your reputation doesn’t hurt. You can toggle this on and off, though it won’t remove information that’s already out there. (200 CP, discount Drop In)

Multiple-Choice Backstory- See, you’re from this place called - no, wait, you took a chemical bath- no, you’ve been empowered by- actually, it’s all technology- uh, you get the idea. More importantly, it’s exceedingly unlikely that they’ll uncover the truth. (200 CP, discount Drop In)

Disappearing Act- You’re extremely good at staying unheard and unseen when you want to be, almost seeming to merge into the shadows and letting you get the drop on almost anyone. Your knowledge of stealth also allows you to pull off an unusual trick of Batman’s; with almost preternatural skill, you’re capable of finding a hiding spot or rushing silently out of sight in the span of a few seconds; enough time that a person could be looking at you, turn away, and look back and not find a single trace of where you went. Mad Love- Why would someone follow the Joker? Rather, why would they follow him willingly? Is it his smile? His personality? His voice? Maybe. But in addition to being smarter than he looks, he's also pretty good at manipulating people. Sure, he can just threaten people into doing what he wants, but sometimes a subtler touch is needed. Take Harley Quinn for example; a respectable psychologist turned into a demented jester, all because she listened to the Joker. Now you can do that, too; you're disturbingly good at getting people to like you- even making them fall in love with- to the point where their devotion flies in the face of common rationality.
Though you should be careful; even if they're madly in love with you, you can only push someone so far. (400 CP, discount Drop In)

One Bad Day- All it takes is one bad day to turn a sane man into a monster; everyone teeters on the precipice to insanity, and you've found that all it takes is a little... push. You're mastery of the mind makes you capable of torturing others into madness, turning them into shells of their former selves. You could try and do the opposite, too- curing others of their psychosis, turning them into functioning members of society- but where's the fun in that? (400 CP, discount Drop In)

Authors technically do own the copyrights to their works. Posting them on a public drive doesn't make those rights go away. Brutus doesn't own the jumps, he just curates them.

That said, if someone wanted to pull their jumps, that'd be a dick move.

Also, jump makers quitting making jumps, or quitting publishing jumps, hurts anyone who, you know, uses the jumps they make.

Because you haven't fucking read it. They literally have princesses who want to fuck your pet dogs and princesses who get off on feeding you their futa milk (that one even has her dick hanging out), and pretty much every other fetish in existence except for scat.

Whether you want it for porn or not doesn't change how lewd it is.
>>
>>52337923
The community agreed to this because it meant that one person could manage the jumps instead of a clusterfuck. It makes perfect sense as long as all of the jumpmakers recognize to play nice in the playground. Lycoris made her mistake when she tried to leave and take her jumps with her, but for her going to SB wasn't an option because she hated SB. So she can't even do what Dirge is doing and force people to use grandfather clause because they refuse to use offsite jumps.

That's probably why Dirge doesn't give a shit about handing the reins over to Brutus, because if he's going to make massive replacements for his jumps anyways, the versions that Brutus have will always be the grandfather versions thanks to people like rulescuck.

Too bad the only person who was even interested enough vocally in that RoTK franchise left for SB then.

>>52337989
If they want to pull their jumps and we can flat out tell them no, then evidently the rights they have are annulled. On top of that no single jumpmaker has an actual legal copyright, or any way to enforce it. So even if we want to argue the rights they have on paper, when put in practice they don't have any. They can't force Brutus to remove the jumps, and technically they can't even force him to change the jumps, he only does it if he feels it's in the community's best interests.

Nothing happens to the people who use the jumps that a jumpmaker makes because jumpmakers can't delete jumps off the drive. If a jumpmaker quits making jumps, we don't delete what they already made. If they quit publishing jumps, people won't know about what they're making anyways. We've never seen anyone hurt due to either of these things happening.

This isn't any different from other agreements that our community has settled on, like the rules or the quality standards. We're never going to have a signed contract stating the terms explicitly, but it doesn't change the fact that Brutus is the sole administrator of the drive, and he's made it clear what that means. Aside from shitposter raving about some abuse of authority or whatever, there's no real dissent to that at all. He drove her off. If your actions lead to someone leaving, that's driving them out. She left because of his actions, and so thus.

His OCs are the same princesses with different names. He's posted shitty WIPs before. And it doesn't change the setting's mechanics or tone either.

For every jumpmaker we've lost we've had a replacement to fill in the gap. Sometimes it takes longer, but there hasn't been a single jumpmaker that wasn't replaced by a successor.

And honestly? If people here want new jumps to come into being so badly, the way they treat new jumpmakers doesn't seem to reflect that very well. If anything it seems that most people would be content if the namefag jumpmakers they like just took on all of the jumps themselves.

It's like getting upset that someone saved an image and reposted in on a file sharing site.
Once something is posted on the internet nobody can stop people from saving it and doing what they will.
Brutus has final authority on the drive because it is his file storage.
He can do whatever the fuck he wants with it. Nobody needs to give him permission.
If he does not want to delete something then he does not have too.
With the exception of illegal content, but I have a feeling that that's not his kind of game.

>>
>>52335884
About your jump.
First, let me say I like it; it has a lot of neat stuff, and a creative setting idea.
But the drawbacks...
Every single one except the first adds a new failure condition, of a really strict "but spill a single drop of gentile blood" variety with the "even a single soul" gotcha's.

Iike the +100 CP drawback a lot, but cannot cake full advantage of it without taking a +300 drawback, since there is only one, and getting +600 also takes a +300 drawback.

In regard to cumulative CP costs...
[Background Foo]
Free (Foo's 1st Perk)
100 (Foo's 2nd Perk)
200 (Foo's 3rd Perk)
300 (Foo's 4th Perk)
Perks=600 CP

100 (Foo's 1st Tier Power/Gimmick)
200 (Foo's 2nd Tier Power/Gimmick)
300 (Foo's 3rd Tier Power/Gimmick)
400 (Foo's 4th Tier Power/Gimmick)
Powers/Gimmicks=1,000 CP

100 (Foo's 1st Item)
200 (Foo's 2nd Item)
Items=300 CP

Foo's Companions
300 CP for eight...

Is 2,200 CP only getting companions and background appropriate stuff.

Have you considered a standard 100/200/400/600 pricing scheme for the Powers and gimmicks section? The one purchase per tier keeps it from being abused.

(I would also recommend a free power not count as a purchase so Neo-Spacians can be a race and still purchase a 400 CP power if they want to)

And companion pricing of the 50 CP for one, 25 CP each for 4 or more? Canon (Card) Companions would be 100 CP each alone, 50 CP each if they can fuse with another Canon (Card) Companion

It really seems like you're just trying to make it seem much worse than it actually is.
>>
Honestly, the main reason Lycoris didn't get her way is that the other jumpmakers hated her. If you were in the IRC at the time, you'd see Heavens, Val, and Worm, among others, talking about how it was good riddance and they were glad to be rid of her.

>>
>>52338367
Because that's what obfuscation is for anon. With it being harder to read, people will be more inclined to just skip over it entirely and focus on other sections, and it works. People already rarely take the time to read a jump in its entirety, but this emphasizes that and in the end you can slip more things through because people pay less attention.

Look at some of the "three liner" perks for example, where not only do you come across grammatical errors somewhat regularly, but a lot of those perks are literally just "because A, now you can B". But with the set up as it is, you already don't feel too inclined to read through it in detail, so you won't ponder on how repetitive and bland the structure is. This is a pretty common notion in selling a pitch, you hide the bad details by either overwhelming the audience or distract the audience with something else that takes up their attention.
>>
>>52338360

>>
>>52338397
I haven't said it's his personal collection, but it is his storage and he can do whatever he wants with it.
That a community adds to it changes nothing.

There was no spite to his decision and you'd have to be a fool or paranoid to think there was.
I think you need to let go of this grudge because you're not thinking clearly as you are now.

Frankly both sides of the Towergirls BS were massive faggots. Lycoris decides that you know what, screw campaigning or trying to sway the thread, she's going to try to demand that everyone who dared to touch one of her jumps should have their Chain declared invalid. It really doesn't help that this is the second time she's stormed out whining about affronts to Jumpchain while completely failing to actually try to argue her position or look closely at what's happening beforehand. Meanwhile Princessanon is basically pulling crap with actively trying to make his jump as close to a stupid fetish CYOA as possible without actually technically being porn. It's the schoolyard "look at me not barely not touching you" crap.

Brutus just made it clear that the policy of stuff on the drive staying there doesn't change just because the maker had a hissy fit and decided to demand he remove them. Which isn't even a new thing. Dirge tried to pull the same retarded move ages ago and people restored the jumps to the drive in a couple days. Because once more going and throwing a shit fit doesn't give you the right to demand everyone rewrite their chain to not include your jumps.

So can we just agree both sides should go burn in hell and end this conversation?

>>52338367
>>52338451
If you're wondering to yourself "how can obfuscation be a good thing?" the point isn't about it being good or not. Obfuscation is just a technique, and it's the intention behind the technique that matters, not the technique itself. We've had jumpmakers that used positive obfuscation before with pretty good results. On top of that, I doubt this jumpmaker intentionally decided to implement obfuscation, it's just the consequence of his formatting work. In this jumpmaker's case I think they just spent minimal effort on formatting work.

So a question to the Blizzard game jumpmakers.

Will there be a possibility of a Heroes of the Storm?
>>
>>52338320
T-thanks.

Someone gave a good idea for another +100 drawback where you're basically Hero Kid and need to train your in-jump powers up from baby tier. If you also have any suggestions for drawbacks, I would be willing to take them.

I suppose I could ease up on the failure conditions, and make it so you only have to stop the big scary enemy from getting their win condition, even if you don't manage to save absolutely everyone or purge every single alien invader. If people ask for it.

As for CP costs... you are not actually supposed to be able to get every Power/Gimmick. Most canon characters have only one. With just your perk tree and your top tier power, you can have a really strong solo character for the setting. If you switch to one of the lowest tier powers, you can have an entire team backing you up. Admittedly, I didn't account for items too much when thinking about archetypal builds.

I suppose I could reword the condition on one power per price tier to make freebies and purchases separate. If people ask for it.

...I would really prefer to not deal with sub-100 prices. But I guess I can make one Companion cost 50, with 200 for 8, and your suggestion for canon companions. desu your current suggestion for imports is flying over my head by a mile

>>
>>52338539
You're the one distorting the facts. The entire reason he was able to remove them in the first place was because he originally uploaded them and therefore had creator rights in the file architecture. No, that's not true either. Back then he actually had full admin rights for a while. I know because I uploaded some of his jumps so they technically would belong to me instead. Not knowing exactly what that first question was, I might be answering this wrong, but you're their technical creator. Your relation could end after pairing them up with a partner, or you can just keep them around without pairing them up with someone and have them become companions due to that ruling that allows you to take sapient beings you make as companions.

It's the /jc/ communal drive, not his personal collection. Again, you treating it like he owns people's jumps is the entire problem. That's not the presumption that anyone makes with that thing. He's to be a curator, not an owner.

If you gave enough fucks to want to see some actually change, you would have screencapped what you claimed you saw.

So you're either a passive-aggressive whiny bitch, or you're a shitposter.
One of those two must be true.

Unless you try to act like you're above all this, suddenly. Then it would prove you're a shitposter just stirring shit up.

He's still got administrative rights. It's the same thing.
Although if you want to argue on what the community thinks I can't say I've seen anyone but you say what he did was wrong. This is of course assuming that all previous arguments from this position in this style of posting were the same, but if they weren't then you probably have a clone out there.
So if the community gets to decide then there was an overwhelming majority that wants those jumps on there.
Brutus made his decision based off what would not upset the community and nuke 50+ builds. Which I'd say is the right choice but that's an opinion.
>>
>>52338809

>>
>>52338829
Everyone else is thinking about their benefit, not about how a jumpmaker would feel in that situation. It's selfishness.
>>
>>52338809
I don't think he thought out his crusade very well before he embarked on it. I don't see how anyone in their right mind could argue that Brutus's drive and its contents aren't his, when he could just delete all of it right now and no one would be able to do a thing about it for all of the screaming and fussing it could cause. The only reason he doesn't is because he cares for the community as well.

The drive is effectively the heart of jumpchain. None of the other drives are substantial enough to stand on their own.
>>
>>52338560
>If you also have any suggestions for drawbacks, I would be willing to take them.
You know how CCG have a habit of knee jerk banning effective combos?
How about the Great Council of Balance where every year all your opponents can get together and vote on what is the most unfair/OP thing you have been doing, and that thing gets it's most frequently used example banned. Like if you are to fast, whatever the best speed power you were using that year no longer works. Magic, your go to spell fizzles. Power armor, better start designing a new one with different styling and features, because your old one is a brick.
Comes in "The ban only lasts two years" and "It's banned until the drawback goes away" flavors.

How about one where YOU are a fusion? Like you are stuck in the warehouse until X companions do a fusion to summon you, and possibly your Max strength is limited by the number of companions fusing (max companions = full power, less is proportional less max power)

How about one where you can only have 4? Magic abilities active at a time? (the Spell/trap section)

Or one there you are limited to 4 companions outside the Warehouse/companion hangout areas at once (you can import more, but only 4 be out in the world at a time) (that limited monster area the game has)
>>
>>52338843

If given the choice to use the unlimited wishes of the Fate/ etc. Universe and you knew how to effect your present self from the future in which you have the Spark (Let's say something simple like you wished 'I Wish that I retroactivly had X.') what would you Wish for? If it was with pic related's Grail then what did you sacrifice for your wish and was it worth it?

>>
Speaking of Spacebattles, apparently we just lost the Tron jump to them.
>>
>>52338844
When has jumpchain never been about selfishness? In the best case scenario the jumpmakers have no opinions, they make jumps, and we use them. We make demands and they cater to them. They're perfectly obedient and we reap the rewards. That only changes slightly because we know that best case scenario isn't possible, so the thread latches on to a couple of namefags and ensures that they stay happy and productive. If there are enough jumpmakers to keep the wheels turning then the status quo is fine.

Everyone knows that dirge was never going to upload his jumps to the drive. He himself said that he didn't see the point, and yes this was before he left for SB. If that's the case, there's no reason to respect his decisions. The jumps that he posted to thread in pdf will be uploaded regardless of whether he wants it or not.

Dirge is the one at fault for using his own drive, not some anon, not Brutus.

Like the fusion one but I'd have to put the risk of death on companions for it to not be an easy way of surviving the jump. No companion respawn until jump end, and you need to have at least two companions alive at the end to succeed sound okay or too draconian/lax?

Hate is the first word that everyone in jumpchain seems to hop on to, and it's been associated with every jumpmaker that has left, saying that they hate jumpchain or they hate the community and other such things.

Basically everyone in jumpchain is prone to overblown hyperboles. I don't think either Lycoris or Dirge gives enough shits to hate anyone here and vice versa, but it won't stop people from screaming at them. If either of them ever feels welcome enough to come back, you bet your ass one guy will run up and scream "why do you keep coming back when you say you hate this place!"

The Dirge that was spun out of somebody's fabricated mythos may as well be the real thing now. Most people in the thread are too new or care too little to know otherwise, and we have a way of generalizing namefags into caricatures to begin with. Between the IRC's impression of him and the thread's impression of him, I'd only get the impression that he's a major shitposter.

To the anon making the World Seed jump. Firstly, I can't wait to see the wip when it's ready.
Secondly, I've been rereading the story and there are a few different subclasses and advanced classes shown in the earlier chapters (I think the last one was Element Druid&Element Avatar in CH:130), what are your plans for those?
I just want that sweet, sweet bonus to gaining affinities.

SMTAnon!

I have an SMT question or two for you please.

It's about the Capstone for the Normal Person Background, Demon Summoner. The copies created in the Compendium, do they count as digital lifeforms when summoned?

NuBee's newest jump, Digimon Tamers offers a BioMerge Perk which basically allows one to temporarily merge with a digital lifeform and have it evolve into a far more powerful state and form. Can the holder of the Demon Summoner Perk count the demons copied by this perk as a valid target?

The Fate series as a whole is a truly awful selection of media with zero redeeming qualities.
The only thing it would have going for it is waifus but it can't even do that right. Every character is a cardboard cut out caricature of the historical figure that is suposed to be themselves.
Anyone who has waifued a character from Nasu's works is a mongoloid who should have commited suicide before polluting this earth with their shit taste.

>Like the fusion one but I'd have to put the risk of death on companions for it to not be an easy way of surviving the jump
Being able to hide it the warehouse is something you can to now with the forcefield. If jumper has it he is safe like always, and if not then opponents can gank you in the warehouse anyway, unless the jumper doesn't have a door to the warehouse open in the world, in which case he is time frozen unless summoned, and that seems worse.

I would make companions repawn as normal, but say if enemies can kill them fast enough there is not enough outside left to summon you it counts as death.

Also let jumper choose if he is a fusion style summons, or a sacrifice style summons, the sacrifice style summons actually sacrifices the companions (they respawn as normal). Either way, an additional failure condition is not really needed, the disadvantage is in the tag team "jumper OR companions" limiting what team jumper can field at once.

Also add that jumper can communicate with companions in warehouse of the +100 CP drawback is also taken, where he is basically their Card Spirit Pharoh-Voice-In-The-Head-Guy unless summoned somehow.

Nope, that's definitely the right way of doing things. If HermitGrowlmon with a robe, staff and beard is wrong, I don't wanna be right.

Nah there's digimon like that too. Digimon are so ridiculous you basically can't go wrong.

Shut up Zouken.

I believe there was something about the user in canon not being able to use it on themselves and it being really slow and requiring you to physically consume the thing with this huge shadow mouth you conjure up for it to work, which spits out the new thing in its new form. But jumpers just ignore all that.

Guilomon -> Growlmon -> HermitGrowlmon -> Sagemon (the old court wizard to Gallantmon's young knight)
>>

But my waifu isn't Sakura tho
>>
>>52340684

But wait, what if it diverged earlier?

Guilmon -> HermitGrowlmon -> PeaceGrowlmon -> Sagemon
>>
>>52340699
Ah, I asked myself that same question, only to realize that a Sage needs to grow first and make a choice. War or Wisdom.

Bread is about to be toast, folks. It's been real. Have a night.

Ah, poppies will help them sleep

Damn dude, that's deep.

Goodnight anon, and sweet dreams. You're alright.

I got my Tamer Partner Impmon a blue card, so this will probably end up with one of my companions using these. Probably Somni or Gaia. Gaia likes giant lizards.

I think too much about themes when I design stuff, what can I say really?
>>
Are Digimon really garlic champions?
>>
>>52340745

I completely understand where you're coming from. You just wanna spend days on all these little themes and nuances, thinking away and fantasizing about the possibilities while trying to move on to the next project or adventure.

>>52340759

I don't know what that means, but give it 50/50 chances.
