waifu cyoas are good, but in moderation. when you have too many waifu cyoas that all showcase the same type of waifus it gets really boring, but every now and then a really good waifu cyoa shows up.

I questioned on another thread but wasn't replied.
Is the Eremite part already being worked on?
I would like to submit a companion, but I would rather wait for the Eremite part to make a build.

In the CYOA i'm working on i have the stat Luck.

I'm planning to have it work with the other 3, Power (offence and defence power), Intelligence (problem-solving, etc), and Stealth (avoiding enemies and sneak attacks).

Now the question is, should Luck allow you to instantly pass a PWR, INT, or STL check when ( total Luck > enemy stat )?
The other solution that i think works better is it could be deliberately used, and you burn the difference when ( total Luck > enemy stat ).

Failing a stat check would cause you to lose the companion with the lowest Luck.

The good Duchess has agreed to host us, mentor me in the spells needed to create vampire guardians and even introduced me to the esteemed Seir Eilsa, all she asks in return is a pact and my willingness to “learn all that she has to offer”. Seir Luukas keeps mumbling about her being a “vamp” but I would hope that was obvious by now, she was clearly drinking blood.

If we were give a chance to act beyond the grave, let us do some good. I will found an order of undead knights to serve under my lady’s banner as we pacify our neighbors, immortalizing the deeds of all our cavaliers on a slab of stone from deep within the fortress. Should a knight fall for the last time, I will personally empower and deliver a stone copy to their living relatives to be honored as long as their bloodline continues.

Teb’Ihr - Travelling Caravan

A wandering lich who gave up on his dream of world domination after his teacher was killed by murderhobos who were, for some reason all kobolds. Deciding that he doesn't want to be their next target he moved to his second life goal, to help the dead and trapped spirits move on to the after life, picking up singing and music play during his studies. As he became lich he turned his favorite lute into his phylactery.

Now we this small band of servants disguised as humans and one hundred animated instruments that serves as his orchestra Ultha travels the land, singing for humans, sending dead and kobolds(alive) to their graves and saving trapped spirits from their torment

Trap/Locks: 1

Class: Warrior (Monk)
Martial: Improved Damage, Enhanced Damage, Area Effect, Protection.

Skill: Key Word: Ambush Tactics, Key Word: Disguise, Trap/Locks.

Leadership: Key Word: Social, Key Word: Bold, Team Leader (2x).
>My boldness and chutzpah apparently attracts followers. I don't get it, but okay, I can work with this.

Heritage: Human
>I'm breaking out of the mold though. +1 Health, +1 attack.

Group: Mystic Thief, Chaplain, Sword Mage.
>Sneakiness is needed. Chaplain gives heals. Sword mage gives some extra punch and magic abilities.

>Covenant
Captain of the Guard, Knights (2x), Ranger (2x), Merchant, Mayor, Master Farmer, master Shepherd, Priest (of Ilmater), Steward, Diplomat, Master Cook, Master Smith, Squad of Guards (2x; one archer, one melee), Unit of Hunters (2x), Superior Armor, Superior Weapons, Enhanced Library (general purposes), Improved Lord's Quarters, Improved Fields, Improved Orchards, Improved Pastures, Hostile Inhabitants.
>So I've got a good contingent of soldiers and the men to lead them. The land itself is Garden of Eden like with how fertile it is, and I've brought in all the right specialists to make the best use of it. I've also got plenty of staff to make the drudgery of running this place basically never be an issue for me (except for those big, mandatory events where I need to be there), so that I can focus on more important things, like our quite-angry barbarian neighbors that are more than eager to raid and plunder our land. Gotta shut that shit down.
>>
>>52303823
Goodie. I'm in the middle of restructuring/redoing every power for the new superpowers thingy.

Also, I'm in the middle of a Kamen Rider thingy... which is probably a mistake, since it means dividing up my focus.

Also also, I should update Worm v4 once I'm done with the above. I'm thinking Missions need to be revamped so peeps don't treat it as insta-free points (not like you can't break the game without Missions). Also, the Companions need to be changed a bit too. Like, maybe if you don't take a Companion, then you have to take one as a Rival.

>>52303902
I approve of omnipotence. I don't remember if Lawbreaker could work like that because it's been such a long time since I looked at it, but my philosophy's always been "Fuck it, if you can break the game in ways I didn't anticipate, then more power to ya".

>>52303948
Niiiiiice.

>>52304511
>>52304907
It's not that I don't like Endbringers, although I don't like Endbringers/Entities. But it was an easy mode solution for dealing with them. Other than as a specific hard counter to bullshit durability characters (the core is as dense as a galaxy! But we have lasers that can reach the core without ambient energy leak vaporizing us), you're better off with just a regular Blaster IV for destructiveness.

First problem is severe weather. At least I can look this shit up in the library. Probably going to be a tough spring, though, as we're not heavy on magic.

Large Monsters in spring. I have a good amount of guards for precisely this event; hunters and rangers will track these fuckers down, guards will keep my people safe, and the merry band of heroes will get to the killing. Should go smoothly.

Border Raids in Autumn. Somebody is apparently jealous of me and my WINNING. I've got a pretty good sized army for fending them off while my diplomat goes to court to bring the hammer down. Things might be pretty dicey, though.

Winter comes. And with it, a Trio of Magi; probably the ones responsible for all the shit I've been dealing with. I've got the priest, mayor, and steward to free up my time to consult the library to figure out the best way to murder these s'wits, but not much else in my favor. But hey, the bigger the challenge, the more fun it is, right?
>>
>>52305128
Groovy.

Honestly, there's way too many ways of breaking V4, which I approve. It's why I mock anyone who goes the lazy route of Shattered Limiter.

If you are redoing similar power ups, would you care to see my opinion on what are the "weaker" or boring powers? By boring I usually mean they're more difficult to combo.

>Mover
Flier - This is hilarious if you want to fuck off from Earth and fly to the other side of the universe, but otherwise is pretty limited in my view.
Teleporter - Quite spammable with True Multitasking, but it relies on reaction time to really shine. Teleporting someone in the air to fall to their death is funny, though.
Overall - Speedster outshines the other two.

>Shaker
Force Field - Feels kind of boring to me. Practical, but no flair.
Kinetic Field - Depending on the definition of "element", this is plain or hilarious ("I control the element of causality!").
Healing Circle - Genuinely weak when compared to the faster and more extensive Biological Manipulation.
Overall - The shakers are kind of meh. Only Kinetic Field has lulz; oxygen control is amusing even without a liberal interpretation, but it's less easily combo'd. (Though constantly pumping oxygen to your Battle Form: Fire to create an inferno would be awesome).

>Brute
Overall: They're all practical. Not necessarily boring though. They can all be combo'd.

>Breaker
Overall - They're all lulz generators and very commonly picked. They beg to be combo'd.

>Master
Creature Control - Could use some spice. It's just part of Skitter's ability.
Fidelis - Would greatly prefer if this was faster acting, but more specific or less potent. Like only people who see you in a certain way are effected.
Overall - Ok I guess. Avatar is great, comes with the inherent weakness that you yourself are less powerful.

>Tinker
Overall - All great. A lot of stuff can (and has) been done with these.
>>
>>52305394
>Blaster
Overall - They're alright. Nothing exceptional in my view (except for... interesting applications of pseudo-causality breaking).

>Thinker
Overall - All interesting. All readily combined with other stuff.

>Striker
Overdriving - I dunno, this always felt like it lacked kick. It's useful, but it's hard to grasp what exactly its boundaries and capabilities are. Almost every other power does a better job explaining that.
Overall - The first two are nice. Biological Manipulation+Abominable Me is obvious. Energy Absorption is one of those powers you can use for almost anything if you're creative.

>Changer
Henshin! - I personally like it, but it feels too close to Biological Self Manipulation. A completely different power would probably be better, while letting people with Biological Self Manipulation, if they wish, choose a single form to take that has "higher specs".
Overall - Flavorful. Abominable Me feels weak and limited without other certain powers, however.

>Trump
Overall - Where balance goes to die. Its focus on utilizing others makes it tactical and thus fun.

>Stranger
Overall - They're... alright. You mentioned you had trouble thinking of "good" Stranger powers. Strangerless should probably be 2 points.

So yeah. Those are my opinions on the major powers.

Yeah, some powers are there just to be there. I mean, what's a super power list without Flier y'know?

That said, some of the weaker powers are ridiculously broken with the right combo.

Lets take a look at a few. Flier isn't particularly combo-able off hand, but in-story, the ability to fly and say, shoot lazerz, is pretty potent.

Force Field can be nasty. Imagine you're in a room with your enemy, you can form the Forcefield in such a way to corner them, then crush them into pulp. Or just trap them inside with you and use Battleform: Fire to burn up all the oxygen.

Healing Circle for torture. But also to keep your crew going. Remember, in Worm, Crowd Control and Healz are highly prized. Heck, combine it with a Master power for nigh immortal minions. After all, powers don't have to necessarily combo with each other in order to interplay with each other.

Creature Control: It depends on how you use your creatures really. Same deal with Skitter. Her insect control is technically "weak", she just uses it well.

Fidelis: Fidelis is too powerful if it were faster acting... in which case, you can combo it with something like Timeless, Lawbreaker, Kinetic Control etc. Remember, Fidelis is amount of time spent around you. Timeless is time traveling yourself. BOOM. Insta game breaker.

That's why Timeless is so utterly broken. I think there's a power where you imbue someone with invulnerability depending on how long you touch themthat depends on how long you touch someone.

Overdriving is basically what the Marvel character, Overdrive does. Only it does it for just about anything. If you have minions, you can Overdrive them too.

Henshin is just my preference. I'll admit that it was hard justifying its presence. Though bear in mind that as a Worm CYOA, power levels are generally weak by themselves, and Henshin gives an overall higher power level vs cost, as a standalone.
>>
>>52305801

Abominable Me, as with Timeless, Fidelis etc. It was too powerful, so it was nerfed so that its OPness wouldn't show unless Comboed.

The current super powers one I'm working on probably has higher power levels vs Worm, but still just upper mid tier vs Marvel/DC. Unless you combo them, thereby allowing you to make Galactus your lil' bitch.

I'll have to balance it later on, of course.

Much like the Worm V4, it'll have a mix of power levels. Some powers will seem weak unless comboed. Some will be straightforward. Some are weak even when comboed. Etc.

It just won't follow the Worm categories and have way more powers/variety and openess while still being constrained enough to require combo-ing. If I manage to pull it off, it'll also have a variable setting system. And I hope to have a more robust Companions/Rivals section.

That sounds great. There was a PDF CYOA of superpowers a while back that had a ton of superpowers to choose from, all reasonably balanced incredibly enough. I've since lost it, but perhaps another kind anon could post it.

You have the right idea by mixing power levels. I'd advise against having really expensive top-tier powers though - Worm V5 does that and spending 20 points on a single power is almost always waaaay better than using those 20 points to mix powers. If you could, sticking around 1-2 points for each power would be preferable as it encourages anons to look for combos.

(An amusing combo for Worm occurred to me that I haven't seen yet: Fidelis+Energy Absorption (Ambient): Loyalty).

Rauha just seems like fun; Zyanya can give me a home if I serve her well enough, and I should be able to do that. Nadya comes with the book and makes home life better.

Yeah, all powers will only cost a handful of points. Normal mode will just let you take 2 or 3, so that you're forced to combo. Of course, there'll be an easy mode as well where points are given out like candy in a pro-diabetes convention.

I think I actually made a team where the team leader had that as a power. He wasn't the brains of the operation, just its face. There was another member who was invulnerable and her other power forced enemies to focus on her. Or something to that effect.

If I had to give some criticism, the only thing that bugs me is how boring the Machsomething elven nation is. There's basically no interaction with other nations and no wars. I would at least change the fact that they don't trade with anyone (slave trade should be a lucrative enterprise), and that nobody goes there (saying that a lot of fugitives and generally shady people run to the elven territory because of legalized slavery would make it more appealing for a novice necromancer to move there). Also, adding some part about slave raids into human territory and counterraids by humans would make the political atmosphere a little more interesting.

He said I was "MAD," when I set about activating more than one clone at the same time!

"INSANE," he called me, when I vowed only to use my own blood for the ritual...

Yet, he taught me everything I know. I miss him.

But it's OK, I made a new family. Little 'Nina was so broken when I found her, fixing her was probably what kept me whole. My friends and I have quite a comfortable home out of this old laboratory, and the income we get from those rich enough to seek out my medical services ensure that are well stocked from our trips into town. Outsiders tend to mistake me for a group of close sisters, and I'm not keen on correcting them. Mr. Suthersworth handles most of the day to day operations and trade, and he does a far better job than I'd be capable of.

But all is not well, and it's a good thing that Uncle Dante and the lads have insisted on teaching tactics and fighting techniques. The "Doctor" that twisted 'Nina so has turned her gaze upon my work, and sees competition. Her creations are massive and sturdy, but they are stupid, clumsy, and do not coordinate with each other. I will need to have words with this woman, and they are in my way.

Stefan may be a necromancer, but he remains a simple man of simple pleasures. While he *could* seek power, he wants nothing more than to exist in peace, treat Morgan to a nice dinner (perhaps a bit more, if she's willing), and give solace to all who pass through the doors of his inn--living or dead.

If it's not warded against spirits or undead, I don't see why not. That would probably involve a battle of wills of some sort. And I don't think that works on soulless undead like skeletons or undead that have a soul somewhere else like liches or mummies.

Joke's on you, I enchanted my body with Death Ward as well! I enchanted my dick with Death Ward! I enchanted everything in my room with Death Ward!

You cast it on something, and when someone sees or touches a thing he dies, so I guess the Scientist means objects like a page of a book or a piece of jewellery or something like that. It implies that you could enchant several objects one at a time.

Joke's on you, I spent six months casting Death Ward on everything.

Throw the average 4chan user at it.

Faced with such a paradox of life without a life, the Ward should spontaneously combust.
>>
>>52308178
Destroy the item, probably. It should be safe for soulless skeletons to touch or see it, so just make a skeleton smash it with a club, I guess. It's not like there's an actual "dispel" spell available to necromancers. Maybe other spellcasters of the setting could use that.
>>
>>52308214
Of course it will. But you want it to disappear, not combust.
>>
>>52308216
Don't. Just don't. It's hilarious but I can't handle the suggestion that a regular trainee mage could wreck havoc on even the most powerful necromancers by continuously casting "dispel" on everything.

Dispell your minions.
Dispell your traps.
Dispell your spells.
Dispell your immortality.
Cast fireball on your ass.
>>
>>52307995
God damn it, Jim. I'm a doctor, not some sort of mad scientist! I mean, it's not like I'm slowly amassing resources and allies while expanding an underground warehouse full of bodies in stasis, waiting for the day when I can take vengeance upon those that murdered my mentor! That would be crazy!

And I'm pretty sure that's exactly what those Murderhobos want to happen.
>>
>>52308271
Considering that the setting is pretty low-magic, and looking at typical spells we have in grimoires, I'd say the "dispel" would consist of a lengthy ritual with exotic components, protective circles, and other arcane stuff like that. It's not like a DnD dispel. Pretty sure a simple fireball would be an equivalent of tier 2 spell available only to cool dude battlemages.

Roarke long ago discovered the power of his stonewriting ability, but it was only after learning Death Ward shortly before his master's death did he appreciate all it could do. Seizing the Necropolis, he immediately set several slaves and skeletons to work building a moat, which he then converted into a gargantuan soul well. Now, even in the night the souls cast a pale blue glow across the desert as they swirl endlessly in the moat. What was not commonly known was the pillars he embedded at set points at the bottom of the moat, their forms hidden by the spirits. Each was inscribed with several copies of Death Ward, turning the entire moat into one huge death trap. The only way safely across is the custom drawbridge he made himself, though etched on the insides of it are several Curses of Slavery. Since finishing his grand project, he has begun to remove the walls of the Necropolis to etch further curses and wards into them, making his fortress nigh-impenetrable. Deep inside its depths hides his phylactery.

Roarke desires to learn more curses, and spends most of his time pouring over the Reunu Pertemru to learn more. He swore fealty to a desert lord for protection, but instead of assisting directly he just loaned out his Flesh Golem.

That's a great plot hook. Then some faggot necromancer comes to visit your tavern and tells the spirit that he knows where murderhobos are. A small house that is home to the alchemist's shop, jeylah's room, an inn staffed by commoners, a secret soulwell in the back and a small business of stonewriting, with the house's sign being the example of the owner's skill.

Any sign from road, shop sign, or even goverment building monument is done quickly, although it drew ire from the count, because identical letters weren't perfectly identical. And permanency of stonewriting made the perfect stone plate into an eye sore. But the count is not the one that rules the city, so his choices are limited.

Appearance is basically a miko.

Accomplice searches for Exorcism jobs and advertises the alchemist as the last resort that might heal any injury, meaning experiments for the alchemist, income from the inn, information from thief and souls for the soulwell, should the guests pass on.
Although the count's mercenaries are the most often guests of the well, after they fall to knights, or Grace.

New City

Well, I’ve always been more interested in the “communion with the dead” aspect of necromancy than raising undead or achieving immortality. On the upside, I am very long lived (being an elf), and I’m sure the city can provide good employment for me as a magical engineer, alongside my alchemist and smith. As for those pesky Watchers and their hitman, they should give Seboket a nice workout after his long rest. It’s not like I worship the Child in her capacity for destruction anyway. Every kid makes mistakes, and what kind of parents would deny their daughter a second chance?

Anyway, I am originally from Matchtevsto, which is where I served my good master and befriended Melanya. After the former’s death, I became something of a hanger-on to the latter until we both decided that we were fed up with our homeland’s tryhard bullshit. We moved south-west to Deparmiya, where the emir of a relatively fertile mountain valley had begun construction of a new city. Needless to say, I saw the soon-to-be-written writing on the soon-to-be-built wall and hired myself out to the emir, promising to make his domain a magical stronghold. This was lucky, because the location he chose would have made it so that his town would be one of the first to feel the wrath of any future Matchtevsti invasion.
>>
>>52313241
We met Moskheon and Seboket while on a “research expedition” to an ancient pharaonic temple. Why were we on a research expedition to a pharaonic temple? Because Melanya likes fighting and I love... knowledge. In any case, the old worm happened to be hanging out in one of the tombs, and assumed we were up to no good, so he proceeded to make some trouble in our neighborhood. After summoning up several lesser mummies, Moskheon noticed and awakened the great guardian Seboket himself. That fight was so fun, we ended up surrendering and begging the two to join us in the living world.

Fast forward about a decade, and we’re all living in a nice big town house with our living help (they’re all Matchtevsti, and a Matchtevsti would never tolerate being called a “minion”), who mostly work as domestic servants. I am still on commission to magically enhance the city, which is now called Yar Hentha. Common people do not associate what I do with necromancy, and I usually keep the two ancients under an appearance-altering charm to make them look like elves. Seboket in particular has fun justifying his existence as an eight-foot tall elf built like a brick shithouse. He and Melanya spend much of their time training the local soldiery, but what they really relish are adventures, which I must admit are a fine break from the normal grind.

All in all, I think we have a pretty good thing going here. You’ve only got one life, usually, so live it the best you can.

Also, I could use some help with a name. Is a random elf-sounding word good enough?

So now the smae murderhobos are after me as well. So I did the only thing I can, built up power in some small hamlet and waited to confront them. Hopefully they murder the farmer's son's milkmaid and earn the ire of hte local population on the way out.

Of course, I have murderers and others to help me. But there is only so much somebody can do to stop these trained adventurers.

So I purchased a inn inside a newly constructed city, and have enough 'contacts' I can rely on to keep my notified. that said, my own instincts are quite capable for knowing the streets of my newly adoptive city. Oh, and yes, I know that's not Sepulchre. on the pic.

Sepulchre
A formerly low-key necromancer, Sepulchre suddenly gained the attention of many people when he created a giant, flying, lizard-like bone golem to move his castle around. The beast lasted seven days before Sepulchre returned its thousand bones to death, tired of the continuous fighting. Regardless, the kingdoms feel threatened by him, and by extension, you, the young necromancer he’s suddenly gained an interest in.
“It took me several years to build this monstrosity, and thirteen days to bring it to undeath. And all that was for seven days. Seven fucking days. That’s how long it flew. Best seven days of my immortal life, I tell you.”

I guess it's up to me to ask the difficult questions again.

If you folks had the opportunity to actually experience 1 CYOA, which one would you choose at this point in time? And why?
>>
>>52317323
My own. Either the island or derelict station but most likely the island.
>>
>>52316105
It would be pretty cool, and since SDA has first dibs it would be great to get an answer
>>
>>52317323
I'd be a faggot and pick one that at the end lets you pick another one, then use that one to pick another cyoa that lets you pick another cyoa. After I ran out of cyoa that let you pick other cyoa, I would likely pick Royal Revival to top everything off with.
>>
>>52317323
Can we assume that your waifu in it loves you even if it's not specified?

Also, can we be a build we made for it?

Fresh OC, first CYOA that isn't a "Choose from 3-4 options".

Input and criticism is appreciated
>>
>>52317323
Any one of the CYOAs that lets me start my life again as a rich little girl. I don't know which one though.
>>
>>52317323
Does Jumpchain count? I don't even need all the broken wanky shit, just give me the open multiverse.

Conduit is another good choice in that regard.

Fuck, I'm just sick of this planet.
>>
>>52317679
Text is barely readable, the first choice is stupidly unbalanced, and the whole thing sucks because I don't want to be trapped there nonstop for 10 years.
>>
>>52317679
I'm comfortable assuming you get one perk. Does each game upgrade cost two points? Or do you get to pick two additional games with a point? Or do you get two free points to spend on games?
>>
>>52317679
The premise itself doesn't seem very compelling.

Timestop Chillzone. It's just so damned comfy and it would solve a lot of problems in my life living situation wise. Plus all that extra study time would come in super handy.
>>
>>52317867
Basically, Arena shooter relies more on picking up weapons and FFA Combat, while regular FPS is more team-based/class loadouts
>>
>>52317323
Any CYOA that grants you omnipotence, then I can experience any CYOA I damn well please.

Or any reality for that matter.

If I was not power gaming for one of the ones that makes you crazy powerful, I might say scholomance, it is still powerful but it really gives me the feel of something that with a few minor steps into fantasy my life could be radically different. Most of the school cyoas feel that way too but I would say that one has the most of that feeling for me. I would say these cyoas are copying HP but I think HP simply showed that the idea of going to a "special" school hit a major escapism button.

No, I mean it says in the CYOA something about you never being able to become a demiurge if you take that drawback, if I recall correctly. Since you need to kill the other incarnates in your universe. I don't really remember if that's exactly what it said but I'm pretty sure.

I may never be an official demiurge but their is nothing from stopping me from gaining enough power to be effectively one.

Still, seems like it would take you an extremely long time, and at that point you'd probably have way more powerful opponents. Firstly I have a patron backing me up (and they will eventually have other demiurges on their side) but more importantly I can't die while demiurges can. If a demiurge dies it breaks into 100 pieces with part of its personality (only one of which can recover its power) while I would reincarnate as a single soul. If I increase my power enough I will be reborn at full strength with all my memories intact. Ergo I think I fair better in the long game.

>>52319605
not toys, anchors. Humans are all tethered to each other through evolution and biology. We share a set of norms and we have confidence that other people fall in these norms. People outside those norms are mad, psychopaths, and scary. AI that change in a non-darwinian way need something to anchor themselves to so that they don't go mad, or become too alien. The most likely outcome of this is a fatal apathy - indifference over whether they even continue to exist.

Thats not how it works though anon, you could get the perk that prevents it but it takes a lot of meditation a day to work (I think).

Honestly though the meta implications of the world of conduits are the most interesting part of the whole thing for me. The middle east is almost guaranteed to be taken over by Engel conduits for example, while the Gold pearls will become the most valuable resource in existence (and maybe even a reserve currency) and a bunch of other things (IMO the conduits WILL take over the world and create thier own society).

Me too anon, me too.

>>52320313
There are so many cyoas where you could get a custom sex bot and you pick that one?

Realm: Hotel California
Primary Domain: Peace
Secondary Domain: Wisdom
Miracles: Destiny, Martyr, Avatar, Smite

I espouse the principles of just being cool to one another, and reward the just and kind with a comfy afterlife. I'll use the Destiny and Smite miracles to protect my followers as best as I can, and take on willing Avatars to walk among the mortal folk, teaching them the virtues of peace, moderation and overall grooviness, dude.

Spess Refuge is a good contender.
>>
>>52320342
Could you post a better one?
>>
>>52320350
Be Excellent to each other.

Gonna sex up a bunch of historical hotties.
>>
>>52320379
That would imply they wanted to sex with you. Unless you intend to rape them all in which case, party on dude!
>>
>>52320396
i mean theoretically he could bring back cool technology and just impress them into boning him
>>
>>52320358
Lets see...

Slut life is one (remember you don't actually have to do pervy stuff to get a decent reward)

>>52320357
Has an android option

Traveller has an uplifted sex bot as a compaion, and I am sure you could get a regular one somewhere throughout the multiuniverse.

>>52319004
Sells androids by the several hundred

Faerie has a custom golem/clockwork being.

A bunch more have it too. Point is if you had ONE chance at living a cyoa you should pick one with a lot to go on.
>>
>>52320458
It would be stupid easy with a little creativity.
>>
>>52320458
Plus if that doesn't work our rape technology is way ahead of the past.
>>
>>52320479
Never seen Space Refuge/Universal War/Faerie.
>>
>>52320182
new thread, friends

Well most of the "magic school" cyoas have robots for some reason. Eventide academy, The University, Scholomance, Rature, etc.
>>
>>52320628
Is that all the school cyoas?

Their is also Hero Academy (you could shoehorn an automaton but it would not fit as easy), and pic related.

I might add dream prince could get you everything you want and more.

I can do that.

I always aim to enable creativity, so sure.

Go take your fucking waifu cyoa to Literally anywhere else but here. It's off topic and a fucking waste of image bumping.

Last time i argued about this a mod banned me for spouting an opinion. i don't know why, maybe it was a rogue mod. But either way, this shit is rediculous.
>>
>>52321678
Are there other magic types in the world outside of necromancy?
And could you include those kinds of guys as either companion options or something?
>>
>>52321771
There was to be an entire CYOA dealing with non-necromancy magic, but it would have been too much like Battlemage.
There's an elementalist minion, but i can't justify a whole 2 new pages for one companion choice.
>>
>>52321839
What do you think about a cyborg lich?
>>
>>52321839
Can you use Create Life on any animal lifeform, or just humans?
Would the Apothecary perk and an Alchemist or two be able to enhance the Limit Bane potion?

That would probably be the best thing you could do to maximise its potential, it sounds like something Scourge would have done.
>Can you use Create Life on any animal lifeform, or just humans?
Pic related.

>>52321862
I think it's pretty neat. but it would fit better in the sequel to the NCYOA i have in mind, in terms of technology.
Keep a thumb on it, it will come in handy next year, kek when i make the sequel.

So there is antimagic?
>>
>>52322162
Antimagic is a stupid concept.
>>
>>52322206
How so?
>>
>>52322162
There's going to be an enemy that's a non-sentient antimagic Zone that slowly follows you.
A rare thing, antimagic won't just be the Final Solution to Skelehitler, if that's what you're thinking.
>>
>>52322215
Anti-wizard wank is what it is. "OH MAGIC SHOULD ALL BE INSTANTLY STOPPABLE BY MY BIG DICK MAGIC THAT'S NOT MAGIC I HATE EFFORT!"
>>
>>52322257
Should be killable some way.
>>
>>52322257
>an enemy
So, you can kill it or whatever. Doesn't seem that big of a deal. But if it's an antimagic zone, that means antimagic exists. Which means antimagic spells and shit exists. Oh yeah, do all the immortality options (the ones that leave you with a body) keep you young and unaging even if that's not stated in the description? Living forever as an old fuck isn't all that appealing, considering what old age does to the body and mind.
>>

>Oh yeah, do all the immortality options (the ones that leave you with a body) keep you young and unaging even if that's not stated in the description? Living forever as an old fuck isn't all that appealing, considering what old age does to the body and mind.
Unless they do something to that body (replace it with a clone, turn it into a skeleton, etc) then yes that's how it works.
It's why the spells that would re-young you have diminishing returns.
>So, you can kill it or whatever.
Unlike the others, no. It's not within your repertoire to deal with this, so you have to explore other avenues of choice.
>Which means antimagic spells and shit exists.
This sort of anti-magic is as safe as a nuclear power plant operated by shitfaced Soviet slavs in Japan.

>>52322281
>Should be killable some way.
While i contemplated making it a drawback, i found some sweet art that i want to use, and i figure an enemy you can't fight would make for an interesting choice.

Something like u100 to u200 sounds like a fair bonus for what will certainly undo any immortality caught inside.
>>
>>52322382
But Chernobyl is not in Russia.
>>
>>52322382
>an enemy you can't fight
So a drawback.
>>
>>52322411
But it was in the Soviet Union when it happened.
>>
>>52322490
Eh, they were just unlucky.
>>
>>52322411
More than just Russians were Soviets, i thought you would know this comrade anon.

>>52322426
Very well. But it's going to be the only drawback with a portrait.
