I really quite like this one. Feels like it could use a lot more meat in the upgrades section, though. Maybe different categories for different body parts, kinda like the Deus Ex upgrade system. At the very least, allowing two Hardware Upgrades would give room for different combinations to be used. Anyway, unless you reach an amount of energy per squirt that will push you into space no matter which way you point (including through the earth), then your ability to aim the propulsion and maintain yaw and pitch does in fact affect your ability to leave earth. If anon's body is even a little bit assymetrical, a great deal of the energy will be converted into centripetal (spinning) force.

In other words, a rocket may have enough propulsion energy to escape my back yard, but if it spins in circles or points into the ground and gets stuck, that won't matter.

I'd probably go with Aphrodite and Demeter. I dont really need the laser but the healing sounds good. With Aphrodite it sounds like I can actually propogate life into other planets? Hell, if I become popular (pretty) enough, I could probably convince the public to invest more into terraforming other planets and getting colonies there. The major concern of food can be solved by Demeter's powers as well to make very resistant strains of life that can survive a harsh terraformed planet. To get to the point where I'm that popular I'll probably go the Saint/Engineer route. Help reforestation, create breeds to fast growing trees for building material, make plants that filter pollution super effectively, create super medicines and bio fuels, give food and orchards to areas with low food, etc.

With the x1000 power of Dionysus' Insanity I can do some crazy shit. Why not make a space elevator out of super plant material? Well, after I'm done partying and sober that is... which might be a while.

It'll be great guys. I'll totally grow a bunch of sweet ass fruits and berries all over the globe for people to enjoy. Drugs too. Maybe even make plant houses for people to live in. So basically i'll be the captain of a space ship, flying from planet to planet, there will be a real threat such as poverty and the government, but in between this, some cute things still happen. Elemental has real issues with being more of a physical tree than magical tree. It doesn't even allow for basic spell casting until you get to tier 2. You give buffs to elemental magics, or allow magic to be cast with strength or offer body adaption based on element . . . before you GET the element/magic casting ability from the second row.

This is a very flawed design. The ability to cast different elements of magic is a neat idea, but the spell casting needs to be available before you give the user things to augment the casting abilities they DO NOT HAVE YET.

The reality is that light, shadow, fire, water, air, earth and the mind spells all need their own skill trees, and the ability to cast those magics needs to be in the first tier of each tree, with further options augmenting what you have, instead of getting the augments before you even have the things they're augmenting.

Do you really think that providing augments to abilities before granting the abilities at all is sensible design? Do you really not see the inherent issues in providing augments to abilities you may not have before you ever have the chance to get said abilities? The reality is this is partially a result of the elements needing room to breathe and evolve, but not having the room to do so.

It requires you put extra points into the trees. Now, in your mind that may be a good thing, but it's completely backwards. You gain a basic ability, then get better at it. You do NOT get better at an ability, then get the ability later. How is this not incredibly obvious? It means you ability will ALWAYS be augmented before you even get it, rather than the ability growing as a natural progression.

Ethereal has similar issues. I restate, the image needs to break up the elements into individual skill trees giving each room to grow. The mind magic has this an extra bad version of this problem because it's just thrown in there, with nothing really supporting or building off of it. It's one of them in the greatest need of its own skill tree.
